watch stuck on update (gtr 47mm) - Amazfit

I just offered the 47 mm gtr to my brother-in-law because I have the same. When he received it, we downloaded the amazfit app on his phone (a Xiaomi) and we then connected the watch. There, the watch starts to update, which seems normal to me. The problem is that at the end of the update, it is restarted automatically and systematically fails. This makes using the app impossible.
this is what we tried:
- reset the watch several times and reinstalled the amazfit app several times.
- restarted the tel
- installed an old version of the amazfit app
- changed the region of the tel
- update with mifit but there, I have no more ideas ...
I can not go into the settings of the watch to do a reset. I just have a message telling me to update ...

Does the amazfit app have all permissions? First of all, does it have WiFi permission? Xiaomi often restricts apps' rights, you have to change it.

thank you for your help. I also checked and I think so.
I did tests with my brother in law's watch on my phone where I have my watch which works very well and it does the same to me.
I think it is defective.
would it be possible to put an original global firmware there? otherwise I will return the watch to after-sales service ...

[Q] no firmware update for HK version of G Watch

I am not sure if it is a single problem of mine or other Asia user of G Watch experiencing the same? My watch rom is 78N, but I understand the latest one shall be 78Y already.... May I know if it is possible to force update the ROM?
The firmware will roll out in stages - not everyone will get it at the same time. Just wait and you will get. Im in the UK and not received it if that helps.
I'am from Germany and also have no Update so far, so we need to be patient

I waited for 2 days ???And then I get tired....so I reset my watch...viola...after all the pairing and setup....go to check update...its downloading...???....installed fine....make sure your watch is not rooted or it'll brick I heard. From 78V to 78Y.

Yes me too....did watch reset and down came the update.
But.....most apps I had not on the watch now.
I've tried resyncing the apps in the phone Android Wear app but no luck.
Anyone have any suggestions please?
It's been hours and only two of about ten or more apps I had previously are back on watch.
It looks like you have uninstall and then reinstall the parent app....but what you do with all parent settings....they'll be lost and probably all your data too!

Problem with smartphone screen

Hello,i just bought this smartwatch today and is great!
But i have a problem : when i want to use google now on smartwatch i need to press a button on my smartphone to bring the screen on - when my screen on smartphone is off - google now doesn't work,when the screen is on - google now work good . Where is the problem ? I used different ROMs on smartphone,but i still have the problem and i don't know how to resolve.

Sounds like you are using ok google through your phone and not through your watch.
what happens when you double tap the watch screen?

if not, you don't have your watch set up properly.
I know how to use Google Now on smartwatch(like you said - double tap on screen),i am not a "man of the forest" .The problem appears to be due to the fact I selected in Google Now app from the phone my native language who couldn't be used with "Ok Google" either on the phone,either on the smartwatch.I selected "English(US)" and the problem seems to be solved.Thank you anyway.
p.s.: To explain more detailed : The problem was if I say someting on the Google app from the smartwatch with smartphone screen off it loads forever on the smartwatch(the problem seems to be only on languages who don't work native with "OK Google").

Strange DNS requests from wileyfox swift 2 phone

Hello everyone, I got a wileyfox swift 2 phone a couple of months ago and once the android 8 update came out, I updated my phone. Now, recently I installed a pi hole server on my home network and noticed that there is some strange dns queries being made by my phone. I have attached a picture of the requests. Can someone tell me if this is normal of there is some malware or virus affecting my phone. Also, I have tried a factory reset on the phone since I first thought it was a virus/malware but the requests still continue. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Amazfit Verge Stuck in QR Code screen (solved)

Hey guys.
I sold my Amazfit Verge and I did a Factory Reset but when the guy I sold to tried to pair it to his phone it got stuck in the QR Code screen but when I make a call to his phone the smartwatch rings when I can answer the call in it.
I didn't find anything on Google and not even here.
I tried to connect it back to my iPhone 11 but it fails to connect.
Is there any way to reset it again?

I've unpaired it from the guys phone but it keeps trying to pair again with his phone.
I just remembered that I had Watch Droid Phone installed on it before.
I used to have a Xiaomi Mi A3 and I had it installed but I did a factory reset on my Amazfit Verge before I pair it with my iPhone and it worked but now it didn't.
I solved the problem by erasing user data using adb.

How exactly you did this mate? I'm not able to boot this into fastboot at all.
I solved this. Just posting here incase it might come in handy for someone. I tried flashing the factory image and everything but still faced same issue. So as a workaround, pair the watch first and then uninstall the apk for setup via adb. This will get rid of the setup page and you use the watch normally. I haven't tried install the factory image again to see if it fixed it perfectly but for now I'm just gonna use like this.

GTR 3 critical failure

I bought the Amazfit GTR 3 which worked fine for 3 days until I had a problem with the measurements. Oximeter, sleep, stress were some that stopped. Heartbeat works once in a lifetime when the clock is on. The sensor (green light) rarely lights up.
Unless I'm mistaken, only the step count and standing hours are working correctly.
Whenever I try to measure I get the message:
"Use the device correctly while measuring" Scrolling down, there's a mini tutorial telling you to keep watch on your wrist, wrists clean and blah blah blah. I do everything that is asked and I keep having problems.
It's too frustrating.
Has anyone had this problem?
Is there some sort of setting to adjust this?
Note: I have already reset the clock to factory defaults. I deleted Zepp and installed it again. I put some previous versions of Zepp and nothing. Measurements continue without happening and the error message appears again.

If you tried all reset options and maybe test the measurement on another persons arm (e.g. with less hairs) without success, then i would say it is a hardware problem.
I tested it on my wife's arm (no hair) and it didn't work.
I have already activated the warranty, but the support from Amazfit is terrible.
I've been waiting for an answer for 1 week and still nothing.
