[Q] Galaxy S3 Network Unlock

Hello guys,
I've tried to cut it short.
I would try all day unlock my S3 sim lock, but its failed every times. I am new in android customization so I read all things what I found, mostly the best hopes in here. So, it was an sim unlocked Galaxy S3 when I bought it, with android 4.0.4, I would like to upgrade it to 4.1.2 stock rom but it was some custom rom so its wont went automatically, I used Odin to Flash it with the stock 4.1.2 what I found here but it has the sim lock, I was tried more 4 unlocked roms but its stayed sim locked, I try all methods what I found but nothing worked, now the default IMEI changed.
Is it possible to homemade sim unlock it for free ?
(sorry for my bad english)

S6 Edge probably unlocked by former owner change stock rom

I used to have an unbranded S6 Edge after selling it I missed it so much so I got a secondhand one yesterday. After factory reset, the first thing it did was install all kinds of Vodafone apps. As a TMobile user with a Tmobile Simcard I guess the Phone has been unlocked by the former owner. Or can Vodafone do this and still have all the apps installed?
I would like to flash the unbranded Dutch stock rom on in but in case the former owner did sim unlock it would I loose the sim unlock then? Is there a way to tell the Phone has been software unlocked or through the carrier?
Rght now it has Baseband G925FXXU4DPIT and MMB29K.G925FXXU4DPJG Buildnummer
And I would like to flash PDA:G925FXXU4DPJH CSC:G925FPHN4DPJE
Thanks in advance,

Flashing a stock ROM should not lose the sim lock. Network lock isn't done by software flashing. It's done with the imei. You should be able to flash any stock ROM including branded firmware and you won't lose the unlocked network

S6 Edge unroot puts sim lock again?

Hello. I have a Samsung S6 Edge model G925I. My phone has Sim locked and had my phone rooted so that it'll remove the sim lock. I have seen news that s6 edge has had the update of Android Nougat. I cannot update it manually on the Settings on about phone and i cant seem to update it since its rooted. And i cant find a rom of my model number so i cant flash it. By unrooting it again, will it put the sim lock again? I kinda want to update my s6 edge to nougat . Im kinda new here on tech so please help me
Thank you very much in advance.
Hi.
I Don't know your sim lock with back or not with unrooting but if you update your phone it's not going to be root anymore and you should root again
I think the best option is opening sim by your sim Operator.
if you can't update from inside there is another way to updating to android 6.0.1 M. There's no android7 firmware for you but maybe i was wrong
Download Odin and Officical Firmware and install with PC: http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SM-G925I
if you need more help i'll be happy to help You

2. how can i upgrade my phone to android 10 One UI 2 with stay rooted as it is because i dont want to get my imei back to default
Note. i rooted my phone because to change the IMEI as in Pakistan the duties are higher then the mobile cost so root is comon idea to use a sim here in Pakistan.
