Hello everyone, I'm having the following problem, whenever I'm using my Lypertek Tevi (aptx bluetooth in-ear headphones) for listening to music and then receive or make a call, the phone crashes, i cant hear the other person or that person to me, also I need to disconnect them and connect them again in order to use them. I'm running Android 9 stock, have tried with other roms, same problem, try other phones like Redmi Note 7, iPhone 7 plus and LG G6 no problem at all, also tried on a Mi A2 on Stock Android 10 and it worked, like in the devices mentioned before. I would appreciate if anyone can help me. Thanks.
I guess a bug . Should be fixed in Android 10

Hello there,
I'd like to introduce myself ! I am the typical forum's reader because I am from Spain and I usually post on spanish forums because the language but now, I have a problem that seems not to be as common as I thought:
I have a SGS2 with Vanilla Rootbox CROM running and JellyBam as 2nd rom.
I have just bought a bluetooth headset that supports AD2P and I can listen music through its "speakers" (is a system for a bike helmet) but I have tried with normal and skype calls and I cannot hear anything neither my voice is "heard" in the other side of the line.
I have tried changing the kernel: Siyah, Dorimanx and Stock kernel.
I have tried both roms (vanilla and jellybam)
I have tried it in my sister's galaxy s 2 with official rom and it works without problems so, I think that it could be an AOSP issue.
I don't know what could I try, I have been searching a similar topic but I just found old threads and just similar, not exactly the same.
So, please, could you help me with this??
Thanks in advance!!
Someone please

After pairing the 'Bluetooth' to ur device, go to settings>bluetooth and check the settings of the paired bluetooth and see if any thing is unchecked there for 'Phone' if so enable and then try

Alright, well, I've had a lot of trouble in this area as well, and I have found a few ways to get the Bluetooth headset working with Skype. I'll tell you now, that it's probably got more to do with Skype than whatever ROM/kernel you're running. I tried this on my stock 4.2.2 Nexus 4, and on CM10.1 stable, running Franco's Kernel r151. The headset I'm using is the LG HBS730, which has served me well in all tasks on my phone other than Skype, of course. This is a long-standing problem I've had with Skype; the conspiracy theorist inside of me wants to believe it's because Microsoft wants to push their Windows phones by purposefully making their Android client suck, but the realist in me hopes that's not true (what with the wide range of Android hardware that the Skype Client would have to support). And besides, Skype's as broken on Windows phones as it is on Android, minus the glaring battery issues.
Okay, to get the headset working, I've done the following.
1. Before I start skype, I turn my bluetooth headset off. I wait until it disconnects.
2. I turn my phone's Bluetooth off and on again. Do not reconnnect the headset yet.
3. Sign into Skype (I'm using the version that was updated on July 10, 2013, since I can't seem to get a real number on the version of this miserable app).
4. Join the call that your friend(s) are in. You will start to hear them over your phone's loudspeaker.
5. Turn your Bluetooth headset on, wait for it to connect. When it connects, Skype should automatically recognize it, and start using both the mic and the earphones on the headset, and you should be able to talk normally.
Here are some things that will annoy you, though:
When you get a regular phone call, the Skype call will be put on hold. When you end the phone call and try to rejoin the Skype call, Skype will still see the headset as connected, but will continue to use the phone's speaker and microphone.
This is going to happen a lot, and here's how to fix that:
1. Leave the call, and sign out.
2. Close the app from the little task manager thingy (If it's a Galaxy SII, just hold the home button and swipe it away).
3. Disconnect the Bluetooth headset. You can turn your bluetooth on your phone on and off again real quick if you think that helps--I have yet to determine if it does.
4. Sign back into Skype, and join the call.
5. Turn your headset back on again, and Skype should connect to the headset.
For some bizarre reason, I have not been able to connect my headset to my phone, and sign into Skype with the expectation that anything will work, at all. I wish it weren't so complicated, but it is.
Oh, and FYI, don't bother with Skype premium. Group video doesn't work on Android phones OR Windows phones (even from Windows desktop to Windows phone, my friend and I tested; way to sell broken services, Microsoft!), so if you're on-the-go a lot, it's a total waste of money. Also, if you're bike riding, you're probably just going to piss off your friends in the Skype call with all the ambient noise. The mute feature on my headset is not recognized by Skype, so I have to dig my phone out of my pocket to mute it from the screen.
I hope this helps, but more than that, I hope that one day, Microsoft will restore my faith in Skype. But considering it took them this long to revise their app to the point where Bluetooth even pretends to work, I'm not crossing my fingers.
Hey,
I have had the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 for a month now and I am totally satisfied. I love MIUI, and its specification, it's performance, and everything. However, today I commenced to have a problem with call sound. No matter who calls me, I have trouble listening to them. Everything works fine if I put on headphones and I am pretty sure it's not a hardware problem since the speaker and the microphone work perfectly in other apps. I can distinguish some sound but it is very hard. It doesn't work even in the maximum volume. What can I do to stop this?
By the way, the other side can hear me fine.
Here's a screenshot of me trying to change the volume, so as to make things work for once:
imgur.com/ wzJTLmS (I can't make it parsable because I'm new)
I noticed that in the left side, there's no phone icon, like it used to be when I changed the volume during a call. Maybe that's the problem?
Thanks
I too have the same kind of problem, where I am not able to hear the other person on call suddenly. Please let me know if there is any fix for this.
Ok, I did face the same problem from a few days now, tried clean flashing the two roms & still the same, so thought of flashing Miui rom, but I just connected my earphone and listened a song approx. 4 mins, then unplugged it and then tried calling to my friend and there's no issues, it's been fixed now.
If I want to play audio having headphone during the call,,and need to play audio someone during the call so that he/she can also listen it properly...is it possible bcoz it's in samsung j7 prime..I am having redmi note 4.
Dear all,
I experience the same this morning.
Was able to fix it.
Got to settings, scroll down to do not disturb, and turn it off all sound is now working. Cheers!!!!
I'm facing the same problem, if I test the earpiece with *#*#6484#*#* and sound perfectly fine, but when I make or receipt a call the earpiece volume is low, How did you fixed it?
Just plug your headphones in and out 3-4 times, and it'll work fine. Has happened with me twice or thrice now.
Cheers.
Change earphone try with some good earphones like JBL mi.
Hi XDAdevelopers,
So i recently updated my Huawei Mate 20 PRO to EMUI 10, and i am happy in general with the new features that this new update provides, but i have found as well a problem, so i always used Apple Airpod and it worked always perfectly, but after the new EMUI 10 update i cannot say the same, while watching videos everything is still great, but the problem is actually during calls, the audio and the mic quality became really poor, specially while using Discord.
I have tried restart the phone, unpair the airpods and even change the Bluetooth AVRCP Version, and still this problem persists.
If you guys know a way to fix this or if you have found the same problem with other Bluetooth earplugs or headset share here so we can find a way to fix.
Thank you
Hi, another Bluetooth problem here.
My Plantronics headset was working great on emui 9.
Last night my mate 20 pro told me that the update to emui 10 was (at least...) ready to be installed.
Since this update, every time I want to listen to my favorite web radio at this url: cinemaradio(dot)net
When I push on the play button on the main page, on the player at the bottom, I can hear the radio for half a second, then blank, then my head set goes "not connected", then blank, then "headset connected".
I tried reboot, re-pairing without success.
Any guess?
Hi everyone, I succesfully upgraded to Android 10 yesterday, and I do love this update, but now today, since wanting to use Discord, because I play videogames with friends, the app won't recognize my microphone (it worked normally with Android 9 a day before), when a friend called me he couldn't hear me and I couldn't hear him, they can't hear my voice in Messenger calls and I can hear them, but Whatsapp videocalls work without a problem, and voice messages too, Whatsapp normal calls also don't work. I have a P30 Play, I bought this from China but it hasn't given me a problem since then, only incompatibility with a pair of Sony Headphones. It had the Nov 2018 update and didn't receive any updates until I updated it. I followed this guide here to do it, as I said it worked without a problem: androidinfotechdotcom/motorola-one-p30-play-regular-android-10-stock
I don't know what else to do, if I have to downgrade can anyone give me a link for Android 9 please? Tho I really hope it doesn't come to that, since Android 10 is great for me
Edit: I fixed it! Yay! I reinstalled Android 10 with a newer update from this forum, the mic works correctly and as intended to, my friend told me, my voice sounds even clearer in this update.

Solved the issue. Problem is Oppo Wireless app. Uninstall thst and install HeyMelody. There is something wrong with the stock one but i dont know what.
I had similar issue tonight with the OnePlus Buds Pro.
I downloaded the OnePlus Buds app from the app thinking that what I needed since they are OnePlus right? Nope.... Guess not cause it did nothing so I found the Manual and OP site says download HeyMelody app and I did but it would fully connect to the Buds so I removed the earlier OnePlus Buds app and then launch the HeyMelody again and bam! It's working!
I'm glad I got it working but who the hell is HeyMelody??? And why do I need their software on a OnePlus device?
