New Verge user here, runner, previous Garmin Forerunner 310XT (5Yo) owner.
While running outdoors, regular run or intervals I set pace alerts but it only shows every 5mins on regular run and if intervals are shorter than 5mins no alert is shown.
Pace alerts are crucial to runners like me and if they are not shown at least every 5 seconds (when running out off desired pace range) or let say every 3 times pace value refresh on watch screen, it´s a useless feature.
Any custom ROM/FW to solve that?
ADB command to change alert fire event schedule?
Any chance to put my hands on original "Run" app sources maybe? (C, java, Kotlin, assembly, whatever?)
Model A1811 ROM 3.2.7.0
Thanks!

Hi all,
I don't know if this already exist or if it is even possible from the technical perspective. I've tried to find how to do it, mainly trying to install one of the already existings apps for android but only one is compatible with the amazfit pace architecture and the result in the watch screen is to poor.
The point is to have a new activity in the smartwatch that record laps by GPS position (fe some garmin models do this as well). You set at the beginning a start point and every time you cross that point the activity set a new laptime. It will be usefull for different sports as for example circuit cycling or motorsports like go karts/motorbikes.
Does someone know if this is possible or if already exist something similar?
Regards
Which device? Pace and Stratos have a function called Autolapse which I guess is what you are looking.

Hi nhedgehog, thanks for your reply.
I have an Amazfit Pace... I can see the autolap by distance or by time but can't find the autolap by gps start position or something called autolapse, where is that? Do you have any custom rom installed?
I don't think you can do it besides auto lap by distance or time, as most watches do. If you need anything else then probably you must export the GPX data on watch, transfer it to computer then use a third party service to edit the data.
I'll answer later, just switched the ROM, don't know if I got confused with all that new settings.
I'm on the Amazfit Pace Chines BETA 2.0.6.12 ROM. Here is a thread which lists the activity settings of some outdoor activities.
You are right I can't define a GPS position as Lap Starting. I have the possibility to define autolap by distance and set this alert on or off but not what you were looking for.
I also would be interested by this GPS lap function
WOS2 on Pace has an "Auto Lap" setting (with option of notification separate from the normal lap notification where you can set the lap length), most probably it exists on Stratos as well... Does it do what you need?
Hello,
I have Pace2/Stratos watch now for a couple of weeks. I realy like this watch.
To make it perfect for me, it needs a couple of additional functions.
Please, experienced users, tell me if any of that is possible.
EN version,
Amazfit Pace 2/Stratos
model A1619
ROM version: 2.3.2.8
Would be nice addition:
1. Voice overlay in Run mode (info about pace, distance, pulse).
2. Adjustable interval length (eg. info about pace every 200m, or 500m not only every km).
2. Music control accessible from Run mode.
3. elapsed Lap time in Run and Trial Run mode (only option now is total elapsed time).
4. Adding seconds to timer in timer and interval workout mode.
5. Back-light always ON mode.

Dream zone:
5. Mi Fit integration
6. Google Pay
--------
Problem:
1. km pace is way off, for example instead of real pace 6min/km, watch is showing anywhere from 26:00 to 30:00.
Any ideas how to fix that?

5. Is already possible, search this sub forum
6. Is impossible, the watch doesn't have NFC
Ok will try to be clear;
I have the latest sw 2.3.4 on Stratos 2 installed
I passed my watch in metric using the app watch amazefit. No way to do it on the watch.
When doing a sport (e.g running) the distance is set in mile. Was confused first time.
When saved activitiy, the distance appear in KM in the app ... and also in the watch ..
So seems that it's only during the activity (only tested with running so far).
Anyone else..?
Thx
Change to miles, save, restart, change back to km and restart once more. If you see "mileage" on display, it actually doesn't change with units, read it as "distance".
thx
Works I have now the distance in KM in the watch during activities.
I ve notices a difference between strava and Xiaomi : strato 6km; strava 5,8km
Hi everybody
I bought the amazfit 2 and had a few difficulties with interval workouts.
After i set a training in my phone app and synced it to the watch i went for a run.
In most times the training stop and wont continue to the next lap/interval/repeat/segment and i have to stop the activity and start a new running activity.
Does anyone had this problem and can help me work it out ?
Same problem here
I am having the exact same problem here. Doing interval training, set to trigger on a given distance. After the second or third interval repeat the watch get stuck and the next interval never starts, forcing me to save the activity and start a new one. This is really not ideal. I was using a BT HRM, wondering if that might be contributing to the issue ?
First of all, there is no Stratos 2:
Stratos is Huami Sports Watch 2, or simply Stratos (some call it Pace 2, since it came after Pace, but it's also wrong).

That being clarified, there is a know bug about interval repetitions, it hangs after some time. A simple workaround is adding multiple intervals with the same distance (or time), dumb but usually work. If you have an International version of the watch (A1619), you can report it in the link below, maybe they fix it some day:
https://support.amazfit.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
I have that bug when changing screens. If i dont change between screens then no problem at allí.
Hi a little question: is GTR able to import/export GPX files like Stratos does? to follow a prepared track. (when you plug it is there a GPXdata folder?)
i had a stratos which did that great but it died so i wonder if i by this new whach or go back to stratos.

Hello,
I allow myself to join your post.
I would also have a question in addition to yours.
Is it possible to schedule interval training sessions?
like 30 * 30 seconds?
If so, is it configurable per second? And by distance?
thank you so much
GTR, like Verge lite or BIP, has no internal storage that is available for users, so probably you can't load any files to it.
The same goes for interval training: if Verge lite doesn't have it then GTR won't either (same OS, different body).
Thanks
It's still a regression from Amazfit.
They turn their products more into connected products and no longer into sports watches
