Hello everyone.
I have a BEELINK GT1 ULTIMATE TV box based on the amlogic s912 chipset, and I've been using superceleron's android TV ROM for a couple of years. Lately the TV box is a bit slow, so I thought to upgrade to a newer ROM.
Which ROM is recommended as of today, especially in terms of speed and stability?
I'm looking only for Android TV ROMs.
Thanks in advance!!

Hi the Tv box you selected will do the job just fine. The s812 box's are the best there is right now..I will be getting the Tronfy MX4 Telos for review soon but in the meantime hear is my review for the tronfy MX4 (not the Telos)model but very much the same tv box..http://forum.xda-developers.com/android-tv/android-sticks/tronfy-mx-iv-review-t3122800
We have released our new Tronfy MX4 telos TV Box , it is the first Amlogic S812 Andriod 5.1 BOX . using WIFI 6335, OTA Support, it has been send out for review
however, we are going to have a custom rom so that our clients will get better rom to extend their system.
several points to notice:
Developers who'd like to cook ROM for us,like wasser. I'll provide SDK and support;
Guys who helps other people kindly in XDA (Mainly for Android TV BOX).
We have no wired requirements, as long as you can hammer out good Rom and meet our client's demands, you will get more than a box
Pls PM me!
lol, a decent tv box, and I would like to have a try.
So far, how many tv box with Amlogic S912 can you find? which are you think of the best tv box with s912?
Hi,
I'd like to test the new S912 chip. I'm struggeling between Nexbox A1, T95Z Plus and R-Box Pro. It seems that the R-Box Pro is currently the only box, where you can choose between 2 GB and 3 GB Ram. So that's my favorite so far... I'm not sure, if you really have an advantage of the 1GB additional memory, but for only 8-10 USD/EUR more I would take the version with higher memory.

Jim

hi, i have the same idea with you, are these boxes have miracast function? thanks...
Received this today, nothing on screen when plugged in, with multiple cables, on all inputs into working outlets. Remote doesn't do anything. What am I doing wrong?
I want to 'root' this device. I've tried Kingroot, OneClick Root and those don't do it.
Here are the peticulars on this box:
M9S-PRO 2GB+16GB Android 6.0 S905X Quad Core 64bit HD Smart TV Box WiFi 4K Media
Android Box was bought from Antiquechina2009 on eBay, technical support from that company is nill. Parent company is TOPTOM. TOPTOM as a BBB rating of "F". I 'googled' their company (located in California) and phone number. I called twice last week and left my name and number. I have not received a call-back.
Has anyone been successful in 'rooting' this Android TV Box?
Any help is sincerely appreciated.
Please share.
Thanks

Hi, Old thread, but I have a similar one too... describe as "M9S Quad Core Android 4.4 Smart Set Top TV Box XBMC 3D Blu-ray 4K Streaming Media Player Miracast DLNA Receiver Amlogic S802 AML8726-M8 Cortex A9" Interested in giving it a purpose in life.
I'm looking to buy a new Android TV Box and I'm just wondering which it's best to go with. I had an s905x X96 box a couple of months back and it performed well but lacked bluetooth and had a 100m LAN port and 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi. I'm looking for one with dual band Wi-Fi and a 1000m LAN port and might aswell have bluetooth so I have all the features. I was looking at an RK3368 based device on amazon but I think s905x and s912 seem to have the best firmware support so would it be worth my while getting another s905x or is the s912 much better since they have octa-core?
Thanks.
S912 is the future. S905x is now.
