Hi,
I have Blackview BV9800Pro with stock Android 9 and Magisk root.
I have tried to install all GCam apps from "last 30 updates" and "suggested versions" sections on https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/ website with no luck.
I am thinking maybe the Camera2 api harware support level is not high enough?
I downloaded Camera2 Probe app amd it says that I have FULL Camera2 api hardware level support, but I noticed that there is Level3 as well.
Is FULL hardware level support enough foe GCam to work or Level 3 is required?

Hello. I am looking forward to buy a lemax2 for developping
but i don't know if there is vulkan(replacement of opengl es 3.1) support
Can someone with a nougat rom (cyanogen ? )
install this report tool ?vulkan.gpuinfo.org/download.php
Wonder if it has the same capabilities as the google pixel
Here is a comparing between tegra K1 & pixel adreno 530 : vulkan.gpuinfo.org/compare.php?compare=compare&id[805]=on&id[78]=on
I also saw, that there is an user-mode Vulkan driver available from qualcom for Android Marshmallow (developer.qualcomm.com/software/adreno-gpu-sdk/tools)
, but not yet for Nougat (but still, this is a good sign for the future)
Also, did anyone already test a google daydream vr kit with this device ?
vulkan will not be available yet, even with a daydream vr, it won't work on this phone because it's not fully nougat ready.
Vulkan is there!
I just installed CM14.1 on two devices for friends and both AIDA64 and this tool report vulkan support.
Here are the results for Le Max 2:
http://vulkan.gpuinfo.org/displayreport.php?id=847
thank you abufrejoval
according to you report, you are right
it supports the same vulkan api level 1.0.20 as the google pixel (good news)
but the driver is older (48.836.919 instead of 53.79.911 ) (bad news)
hope they will update it in the future
i will try to build a little apk demo tomorrow, so one can check if it works smoothly
@xterminater07 : what do you mean by not fully nougat ready ? that it's only beta version ?
only requirements i know are : api level for the apps, and bluetooth 4.2 for the remote
Vulkan can only work on nougat rom, and there is no official leeco eui nougat yet. I have spoke to leeco tech support, they told me le max 2 is daydream ready once nougat is out, but does not mention anything about having the vulkan api.
Will daydream on Le Max 2 support the LeVR Pro 1 sensors, because without them won't the experince be as jittery as cardboard?
It's also IPS instead of AMOLED which the Daydream certification also specifies.
May be able to hack Daydream compatibility into LeMax 2 once it gets Nougat, but it can never be certified for Daydream by Google because it's not AMOLED and IPS apparently doesn't have fast enough refresh rate for Daydream (it is supposed to cause sim sickness).
Did Sony enable vulkan API when updating to Nougat?
After the update I check it and it still uses OpenGL
Or is there certain way to enable it?
Probably no vulcan drivers.
Just checked AIDA64 and it says "No Vulkan devices found". There have been other reports of seeing commit changes that says "Add Vulkan Support", so we might see them in future updates, I guess.
Support Sony said that we will not have Vulkan API.

People Adreno 430 supports Vulkan API on Nexus 6P, and this means that our smartphone also supports it.
I took out the Nexus 6P graphics driver but Vulkan doesn't work (OpenGL ES working).
Maybe someone knows how to enable support Vulkan API ?
check this

In these drivers not working camera!
Does the mediapad m5 support camera2 api? Can someone check using this app here called manual camera compatibility? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pl.vipek.camera2_compatibility_test&hl=en
Says compatible with everything on the app you suggested. The actual data is hardware level: limited. So it got most manual thinks besides flash related things. I'd suggest camera2 probe for better analysis
Tested with the m5 10 pro
Hi, will it get Camera2 API support & EIS soon? At least in Android P?
Or can we enable/add Camera2 API support & EIS in the phone?
Maybe it isn't possible if we can root first
Mail got replay

Their reply regarding this matter,
As per your inquiry regarding Edge Detection, we have taken your feedback and shared the same with the relevant team so that they can look into your suggestions.
For Camera inquiry, we would like to inform you that your device supports camera 2 API.
Without unlocked bootloader it cant be possible. I heard somewhere that gcam Doesn't work with mtk soc.
I enabled the Camera 2 api on AOSP (MOKEE10.0) Android 10 and was able to use Gcam, but the front camera doesnt working anymore. Are there any replacement files or Magisk modules now to fix this?
