Can't save anything to the internal storage - Realme 3 Pro Questions & Answers

Hello! I recently flashed the official linage os 16 nightly rom and opengapps following wing the instructions from lineage wiki. The rom successfully booted but i cant save any file to the internal storage even though it has around 40 gb free space. The camera app says sd card error cant use camera, cant download or play any media file or document from whatsapp, gmail. Even chrome cant save any file to internal storage. i can access the internal storage using file manager but it shows only the android folder and nothing else(movies, music, pictures etc. which are created by default). When i connect my phone to pc, it doesnt show any folder inside the internal storage and cant move/copy any file to it. Although i can use the adb push command to move files while in twrp recovery. So, i reverted back to the stock color os6 but now, it also has the same error. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

[Q] Installed CWM Recovery On Internal Phone Storage - Need Help Moving

So, I Successfully rooted. I followed a guide from YouTube on how to install a custom recovery software and make a recovery/back up. The backup was made successfully - But I was under the impression I would be able to move the back up/recovery file from my internal Phone storage (where I happened to install it) so that I could have it on my computer and save space on my phone ( which now only has 2gb storage left on it) I can't seem to find the back up/recovery file through windows 7 - in fact I cant see any of the files on the Phones Internal Storage using windows.
So I have three things id like to know how to do:
A. How to remove the backup/recovery file from my phone onto my computer?
B. Move (& FIND) the backup/recovery file to my phones 8gb external storage?
OR
C. How could I safely remove CWM recovery & the backup file it created and instead install TWRP instead - Then correctly installing to external storage (of course)
Thanks in advance!

[Q] Where did all the memory go?

Hi,
I have tried several ROMs. I just installed the new CM 10.2 on my tablet and started to install all the apps I use. Almost immediately I got the error that the SD is full. Checked the space and this is indeed the case. I have only a few programs installed.
All together it shows that my tablet has 11,36 Gt of space and of this about 11 Gt is in use.
At the moment my CWM shows the root like this:
0/
10/
11/
12/
clockworkmod/
legacy/
obb/
Each one of these seems to have a complete android system all though if you try to access the folders they are shown as empty. I have no backups on the device at the moment so these should not take any space.
Also I am unable to use the external SD card as storage on CWM. It simply is not able to mount /storage/sdcard1. If I try to install zip it does not show the option to "install from external sd". The external SD does show up in the android and I am able to use it from there.
Any idea how to free up space from the device? What are these folders (10/ , 11/ , 12/)? How can I use the external SD in CWM?
problem solved

Click to collapse
It seems that the space was taken by program data from previous installations. Deleted most of the folders in /sdcard0/android/. Still dont have access to external SD from CWM but I will try reinstalling it someday.

[Q] Phone files not accessble after new ROM install

I just installed Beanstalk 4.4 ROM on my Samsung Galaxy S3 i747m. Everything is working fine and I am almost done but I just noticed one peculiar problem which i can't seem to correct.
When i boot into recovery (CWM), the files that i see in SD card is whole different set of files that i see in ES Explorer on phone or on my computer. I tried reinstalling the ROM to no avail. I know the files are there because i used the same files to reinstall ROM and Gapps.
Now, any file i copy to SDcard through computer or download doesn't show in recovery. In system storage, it says I am using 4GB of storage while only showing about 122MB of files. I am only using internal storage and no SD card.
Any help will be really appreciated and let me know if you need more info.

Accidently deleted SDCARD folder.. from Android File Transfer (apple)

So, just said above, while I was cleaning some folders I removed SDCARD folder (sdcard?? what f*king folder is???) from Android File Transfer and the I see at leat 11 Gb memory (before "cleaning" was 80 mb... 16gb sdcard)
Could be restored something? Im osx user.. sdcard memory is removed from phone fisically.
I got some aknowledges about disk image creation and some software recovery but I recovery only photos and video, but I need some others folders.
From phone I see all apps, but from ES File Manager, i see only few folders empty.. but with Android File Transfer, i see all folders but I cannot recovery anything (item not available at copy/paste).
Anything is appreciated.
Thanks

[Help!!!] Lost access to internal storage after flashing the TWRP and official ROM

I've downloaded the lastest official ROM, and installed it within TWRP.
Everything seemed to be okay after rebooting into the system.
While I found i was not able to download the wallpaper from web browseror to take pictures due to lack of storage.
I'm not able to upload pictures here, so will try my best to describe the situations:
1. after opening camera, it pops out "Turn off camera? /n Insert an SD card before using the camera. /n Cancel or Turn off"
2. when i try to save something from web browser, it says "couln't save due to limited storage space."
3. opening the file manager, I do find internal storage shown at the bottom, indicating 50.20 GB/total 64.00 GB. But opening it, only two folders appear, namely "Android" and "TWRP".
I wondered if it was caused by some read-only issue to the system drive, but I did allow TWRP to modify the system partition upon booting the rec.img.
I've tried a few rounds, the problem is still there. and my yota 3 is kind of a brick to me now.
Help me, please.
My yota3+ also lost the ability to write to the internal memory (possibly after I've inserted a sd card and decline formatting it). Searching for a solution only come up with a very old thread on HTC which involved commands on a rooted phone like msdos_fcsk and restorecon. I couldn't try these commands as my phone is not rooted. You can try these if your phone is rooted.
