I was trying to connect my Honor 8X with Amazon Echo Auto that I bought recently. It
is not pairing at all. The Honor 8X blue tooth identifies Echo Auto but the pairing
gives an error.
Is there any possible solution I tried Google search but no luck. Any help will
be appreciated as otherwise I may have to change the phone. Thanks

Hi Friends ,
I am writing this post to help out other users who may face the same issue which I was facing and managed to fix it.
I have both Nexus 10 and Nexus 7 2013 and both are on latest KitKat (4.4.2) stock rom.
I noticed on my Nexus 7, I can not watch online videos past 5 or 10 minutes mark in web browser (I had no problem watching in youtube app). it was getting stopped and starting to buffer unsuccessfully. but surprisingly I had not this problem on my nexus 10 ! so I guessed it should be a setting issue as I am using the same rom on both devices and also I guessed it should be WIFI related. so I went into WIFI > ADVANCED settings on both devices and noticed "scanning always available" is checked on my Nexus 7 , but it is unchecked on Nexus 10. so I unchecked it and surprisingly it resolved the issue ! I believe enabling this option will make the device to to scan for WIFI networks in 5 minutes intervals which can cause delays or conflicts with streaming data.
so if you have a similar problem , simply go to SETTINGS > WIFI > ADVANCED and uncheck "scanning always available" option.
I hope it helps someone
Hi
I have an unlocked Huawei Mate 10 Pro for the UK market and a Huawei Watch 2 Sport 4G and when the two devices are connected my phone defaults back to the factory ringtone rather than my custom one I set, this only happens when the watch is connected via Bluetooth as it works as normal when I disconnect the watch.
I have gone through the sound settings on both devices, maxed out both permissions for all apps related to android wear including the app itself, Huawei wear and the Huawei mobile services.
Both devices have been updated with the latest software for hardware and apps.
Tried several different searches on Google with none returning the issue I'm having, anyone had a similar issue with there phones and Android wear?
Hi! I have the same problem. My mate 10 pro doesn't unlocked and rooted. I haven't modified anything.I was on 142 firmware. And i have Samsung gear s3. Can you find some solution?
Hi everybody, i keep receiving this annoying pop up with wifi scanning every time i lock my phone even when the wifi is off or on. I turn the scanning off / on from developer mode (kept it in both ways for a while but still the message appears). Location off/ only gps/or high accuracy. Seems that all the commands don't really work.
Please help!
Thanks
I have the same problem! Would be great to get a solution to this. For me, the pop-up only seems to appear when I have Wi-Fi turned off. Whenever the pop-up appears, it minimises the app I'm in, too, which is really annoying because I use Google Maps in my car a lot, and I like to have the Wi-Fi off so the phone doesn't keep trying to connect to Wi-Fi networks that require authentication.
Now its happening the same with me...when wifi is off... It supposed to be an option in the wifi advance settings but...i dont see anything there...that helps...
Have you tried going into settings-security & Privacy-Location services-tap on 3 dots-scan settings and make sure wifi and Bluetooth scanning is off?
Yea, i did that too... Everywhere i could possible know it can be a setting to scan/ locate )... Only thing seems to work for not so many popups is letting wi-fi on all the time ). Good that it has good battery life...
Turning the WiFi + off solved the problem for me.
I have the same problem it's really annoying... And it pops out every once in a while it doesn't matter if you click agree or deny on this message
The only thing that seems to be working it's keep the wifi on... But of course I shouldn't be like that.... Any idea why we have this annoying pop up message?
Found this at Android Central, has to do with incompatibility with latest play store update. If you downgrade play store , then you get popups about Google play services being out of date. Oh well, just keep hitting cancel I guess. Im sure an update to solve will come soon. Lol
Here is what Huawei sent me:
Thank you for contacting Huawei Device USA!
We really appreciate your interest in our devices.
This is caused by incompatibilities between the device and Google Play services of version 12.8.74 or later.
Solution:
It is recommended that you try to solve it in the following three ways:
When pop up, touch CANCEL button.
Go to Settings > Security & privacy > Location services > The three vertical dots > Scan settings, turn off WLAN scanning.
For now, you are advised to go to Settings > Apps & notifications > Apps > More > Show system processes > Google Play services >The three vertical dots > Uninstall updates(This path will not appear until the version is updated).
Feel free to share this information.
Huawei is actively working with the Google development team to provide a final solution. Please stay tuned for updates about this issue.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to you, we are working hard to make a connected world and this includes the satisfaction of our valuable customers.

Mate 10 lite here, been receiving this pop-up like mad yesterday. So I was right in thinking that the pop-up was probably caused by Google being Google again.
Hopefully we get a final solution that doesn't involve downgrading Play Services, a component that insists on being up to date.

Hi
Does the oppo 5g work with mirrorlink or Android auto?. I can't seem to get it working
Thanks
I'm having similar issues. I often randomly manage to get it connected eventually with some combination of un-plugging and plugging in my phone while my car is off then turing the ignition and usually Android Auto works fine after, but I think the problem comes back again if I reboot my phone! Anyone else got any closer to finding a fix?

Well, to be precise, I can say that OPPO Reno 10x Zoom 4G 6GB RAM variant works great on Android Auto (preloaded). I can't say for MirrorLink due to lack of hardware I own.
While in Trial/Beta version I think I had issues with some configuration of notifications (at that time ColorOS goes to DND automatically), due to which My display was not getting any notification which phone should send it, CALLS were all going silent, no info no display either!
But there have been a lot of fixes recently, not have been able to check due to lockdown.
I found a "Default USB configuration" option in the Developer Options menu (you need to enable developer mode on your phone to see this). After changing the default option from "No data transfer" to "File transfer" Android Auto is now working reliably for me with my car stereo.
Hope this helps...

I have exactly the same problem, with my Sony Xperia 10 III (Android 11) phone.
I had an Amazfit Bip, which is a great watch. I was undecided between a GTS 2 mini and this watch. I paid €80 more specifically to get the phone function, and I can't turn it on.
Amszfit seems to have zero support, other than an FAQ.

I have managed to solve this problem, but I don't really understand how it worked.
My GTS 2 was connected to my phone (Android 11) and I assumed there was a Bluetooth connection. However this phone function couldn't be activated because Zepp said there was no associated device.
I turned off Bluetooth and attempted to reactivate it manually. On my phone, the watch wasn't visible. I rebooted both the watch and the phone, but no luck. However, I realized that the phone was finding my old Amszfit Bio, which I had disassociated. I turned off the Amazfit Bip and tried again. I ended up having to reboot phone and watch once more, but now I am able to activate the phone function.
I can also respond to phone calls and it works well.
I hope this is helpful. You can try the above, and if it doesn't work, light a candle. I must say that Zepp is really inadequate for this watch. It was barely acceptable for the Bip, but falls far short for the complexity of the GTS 2.
What I really don't understand is that there was a Bluetooth connection, activated by QR code when I set up the phone, that allowed the watch to synchronise data with the phone, and which managed to send notifications, but was not functional for activating phone calls, unless a connection was made manually using the phone's Bluetooth settings.
Second method work for me. you need to tap pair on watch too at same time during pairing.
Start the Zepp app and go to "Profile > Amazfit GTS 2 > App settings". On the Phone page, turn on "Call on watch", then pair the watch and your phone through Bluetooth as instructed. Or you can try second mothed.
1. On your phone, go to Settings, then select "Bluetooth" to turn on the Bluetooth, and set the phone to be discoverable. On the watch, go to App list > Settings > Network and connections > Bluetooth. Ensure the Bluetooth is turned on.
2. Find the watch in the search results for available devices on your phone, and tap to pair them. Or, find your phone in the Bluetooth search results on the watch, and tap to pair the devices.
