I just got my Reno 5g and looking at the options i can't find Private DNS settings
Setting > Other Wireless Connections > bottom of that i only see VPN nothing else.
any one know how to get this option up? or change it using an app?
I have tired using quickshortcutMaker > finding Wireless and insternet settings in there but the option is still not there.
Oppo Reno 5g from Australia Model CPH1921
And you will not find. Oppo didint implement it in COS6 its in COS7 - i guess. Android 10 should have this from the stock

I have been trying to figure out why my Nexus 6 can roam Verizon towers (via Sprint roaming agreement) on Project Fi, but my wife's Nexus 5X cannot. Unfortunately, the only tower near our home is a Verizon tower so it's pretty noticeable once you step outside the house.
After some digging and help from some others, we've figured out that this is because the Nexus 6 is configured for "Automatic" under Settings -> More -> Cellular Networks -> System Select, and the 5X is configured for "Home". Unfortunately the Project Fi app hides these settings, so the only way to access them is to disable the Project Fi app, and use adb to apply settings put global hide_carrier_network_settings 0, at this point you can access the settings, and make a call using the Verizon tower. As soon as you re-enable the Project Fi app, the setting is changed back to "Home" and the settings are locked up again.
So what I'm looking for is either a way to override Project Fi changing this setting, a way to launch this menu even while Project Fi is hiding it, or some other way to force the 5X to stay in Automatic. Ideally would be able to do this without root, but I'm currently rooted in an attempt to find some way to do this...
Any ideas?
Quick update...
Found the setting: global roaming_settings
... 0 = home
... 2 = automatic
Appears that I can set them via ADB, but doesn't seem like they "take" the same way selecting the menu option does. I.e. Setting them and then querying via ADB settings makes it appear as though the setting was changed, but the network isn't picked up...? If I change via the menu, the setting changes correspondingly... What am I missing?
Edit: I'm guessing this is because these are "Secure" settings that are just mapped (not sure if that's correct term) to Global settings? So I can change them, but it doesn't actually change the stored setting?
I know this phone supports wi-fi calling try I don't have the option in call settings.
My partner has the honor 9 and she does.
Were both on EE and my previous phone the S8 had it so I know my account has it enabled yet I don't see the option, am I missing something?
It's working without a problem.
You have to enable it under:
Settings -> Wireless & Networks -> Cellular Network -> Wi-Fi Calling There is also the option to enable VoLTE.
Yes, I have WiFi calling with a second, spare, pre pay aim, but my main aim does not have the option listed, and I know the SIM is set up for it as it worked on my previous phone. I see no option for volte though on either. Shame.
It is so annoying this phone does NOT have wifi-calling. My son's Honor 10 Lite does!! But not this 'higher-specced' Honor 10. Really bad misfire for Huawei there. WiFi calling is such a useful feature. My other son's Samsung S8 even has it. And I had an Umidigi which had it. Come on Honor!?!?!?
My Honor 10 doesn't have the option for WiFi calling, i put it down to being a sim free phone, looking about, it seems it's only available of you have a handset with the carriers firmware on it?
I am not able to find any Option to change the DNS from the ISP's to a different one, neither ipv6 nor ipv4. There is no option to use private dns feature of Android Pie either.
I was wondering that too not until I found out that they've blocked that feature on this devices also Xiaomi is not offering the same..But nevertheless you can do it by another method.
Step1:Go to setting/wifi setting
Step2:Change ip dynamic to static
Step3:There would be two fields of dns
Enter ????? on first &
????? on the second
You are good to go you can check on dnsleaks if it works or not
Hello,
I own a realme gt2 pro 12/256 phone global version.
In my country(Turkey) I dont have an option for disabling volte.
As I checked a lot of sites, its told that there is a secret code for service menu and I can disable it from there.
But all the codes I tried arent working.
Do you know a way to make the volte option to appear or from where I can disable it?
I have tried resetting the network settings or apns

Sorry M8 but couldnt find it
I don't know if I understood correctly.Turn off 4G call?
I want to turn off volte
Turn off 4G call.
Dont have that option there
Settings - Mobile network - Select SIM 1 or 2 - there you will find an option 4G Calling
There is nothing like that also no volte checkbox
What does the option of the selected SIM card look like for you?
Why do you think you have VoLTE when you don't have that option.
I, on the other hand, lack the option of a Wifi call, but that probably depends on the operator's services
Because when ı make calls the volte icon appears next to time counter of the clock
Regarding VoLTE, I only have the option to use it with two SIM cards in the settings, but I only use one.
Try placing SIM in 2nd Slot and then check in settings
I bought a cn version of gt 5g and im in philippines. We have 5g towers and sim but it still shows 4g. And the prefered network doesn't show up. Other phones are working fine. How do I fix this? Thank you.
Set Preferred Network Mode through Hidden Menu
Since the common hidden menu code does not work on our device ( *#*#4636#*#* ), there is another way we must use. 1. Download this app from the Play Store: Force LTE Only (4G/5G) 2. Launch app and choose "METHOD3: (Android 11)" 3. Under Set...
