Does the "Mute Camera Shutter" module work for anyone? it only suppresses the Screenshot sound and not the camera shutter sound in my device.
I used the Magisk module "Pixel2XL_LongExp_Dec2019_A10.zip" for a long time to take astro photos. The module no longer works with android 11 and GCam 8.2.
Does anyone know of a suitable module or another trick to extend the exposure time beyond 4 seconds?

Didn't work for me at first either - with custom ROM PixelExperience. Didn't work until I went back to the stock ROM. Now it works pretty good!

Snapdragon Camera - Here is the better modded snap camera, that is working lot better than stock camera in our custom ROMs. Almost stable. Install APK.
- Front camera manual focus,front cam flash, video pause/resume, photo while video, 60/120fps slow motion video, panorama, hdr mode, beauty mode, scenes... Etc are tested and working fine.

Fix Camera issues in Custom ROMs based on Lineage OS. (most of the issues fixed, and most stable as of now)
One more updated camera snap apk. This is better than included one as many features are working except panorama mode. Front cam focus, filters...Etc work fine. Still earlier posted Snapdragon camera is better, but this would be easy to replace stock camera instead of new app.
- download attached snap.apk file.
- clear data of your camera app. And force stop.
- use esexplorer/rootbrowser to Copy above file to /system/priv-app/snap/ folder (replace existing one)
- go to properties of file and change permissions to rw_r__r__
- reboot to recovery and wipe delvik/cache and reboot system.

Using IR in Nougat ROMs.
Here is the working tested solution to use IR of Le2 to control devices.
Install third party app from google play store called "ZaZa remote"
Select your drvice make n model and use remote. Or create your own remote using DIY feature with your device remote.
This app is much better than stock eui IR remote app...
Enjoy.
Edit: selinux mode needs to be enforcing to get IR worked.

Stock+ (HyperStock) is only a factory image based Rom. I cook it with SuperR's Kitchen and I only debloated it, add bootanimation and "steal" ah I mean add some Mods. Even the bootanimation is ripped.

Yeah... this is a crazy weird issue since every build of Oxygen has been able to correctly allow changing of the DPI without any issue. I was discussing this in another thread somewhere far, far away since I don't recall where. But I think it has something to do with a specific frameware file or something to do with the frameware.. it's damn strange that all of a sudden we can't adjust the DPI. I do know a quick-fix-hack is to use an Xposed module that will allow you to change the DPI of specific apps but it still disfigures the whole system if you do it systemwide..

Charging speed is very slow unlike oos 3.5.8 it took 4 hours... For 10-100
Cable is new and was working fine with oos 3.5.8... So no problems in hardware part...

I have MotoCam 100% in AEX 5.3 Rom, but not this cam from this Thread. I will open new thread with solution.

Did you flash the magisk module mentioned in op?
Magisk module doesn't work, it claims the /data/magisk isn't setup properly, please install Magisk 14+
I'm on magisk 16.3 and I just installed some emoji replacement and pixel2 experience, so it is working!

Yes I m using magisk 16.0
No spot color option
the module only allows installation of the app from play store, if you can get the APK you don't even need it, it doesn't impact the function of the app

Phone not working properly
My Phone dialer app did not show proper in-call screen, so calls made cannot be cancele unless force stopping the Phone app. Any fixes can be made? Thanks a lot anyways, great mod for sure.

I made a magisk module that automaticly retracts the popup camera of the K20 Pro on startup if you have that problem on custom roms.

Thank you. I use Havoc GSI, and after I install this module the camera popup and down then popup during boot. And at last it's up.

Yeah i had the same issue after some more testing, i updated the code, should work now
Working perfectly on K20/Mi 9T (non Pro).
Tested on: Havoc OS 2.7 (gsi)

If you mean mine, then I'll look at it (not around my PC right now). Meanwhile LOS official already has their own motorized cam hook implementation thanks to Zenfone 6.
EDIT: As you can see TingyiChen's build is already here. Probably don't need this anymore?

Would you happen to how to fix the camera not popping out or retracting for some gsi ROMs please? Possibly a magisk fix?

Hi, same problem here, LOS 17, K20 Pro. Please guys, point me in the right direction.
I used GCam to switch to front cam, then switched to video, GCam glitched and switched to back cam but never retracted the front cam. I have no idea how to retract it now, reboots, the magisk module from this thread, using other camera apps to switch back and forth -- none of the approaches worked. Maybe I can issue something through ADB to retract it?
