Using external power supply instead of battery - Xiaomi Mi 5 Guides, News, & Discussion

Hello, I replaced this phone 2 years ago, it does not charge anymore. Today i decided to restore him, using a voltage regulator, to reduce usb's 5v to the 3.8v of the battery, connecting him to the battery circuit and then starting him.
I was able to boot to fasstboot. I flashed lastest global fastboot rom, but i can't go any further...
I'm not able to boot (always mi logo, after some seconds it just go black then mi logo again), I was able to boot to original recovery, but i'm not able to boot into twrp directly or before having flashed it.
So, anyone had done something like this?
If someone wants to help me, can please send to me the output to
Code:
fastboot getvar all
?
Thanks a lot!

Haha bro ! After 3 fake battery scam I got this.

Question with and old phone

I got a problem with my S2 but its forum is completely dead so I'd like to have a solution. Sorry for creating this thread, but I need help.
First of all, sorry but my English is pretty bad.
I have a S2 that I want to use it just occasionally (as businesses phone). It charged perfectly but sometimes it shows this 'error'

I've tried installing CM and Gapps but i can't from stock recovery, so I also tried to install TWRP from Odin but i get another error.
You guys know any solution or is completely dead?
You sure it's not just a bad battery? What's this other error you mentioned?

I think it's the battery, as you said because when I disconnect the phone from the charger and enter in Download mode it says immediately low battery.

Asus Zenfone 5Z ZS620KL WW version - soft bricked? Need urgent help

Hi All,
This is my first post here so please let me know any other detail I should have included in my post. While trying to lock my bootloader which I had unlocked while trying to downgrade from buggy Android 10, I have ruined my phone. There is no OS now in my phone and I can't boot to recovery mode either. Only screen I can get on is Fastboot mode (image attached), volume keys work but on pressing power button to select a mode does not do anything. This has been the state for last 3 days.
Situation has got worse since yesterday that it has started to show no sign of charging, even fastboot commands have started to fail with below error.
'FAILED (remote: 'Warning: battery's capacity is very low')
Please help
Thanks

You have erased/deleted your Boot partition. No need to worry tho. You will need to flash the stock rom or boot image using a computer. There are many tutorials out there for that.
Just like this one :
P.S. the device is different but the brand and problem are same, so you should have no problem.
