Guys, for all those who had an issue installing the Indian RUI version on top of global model and all the bugs of battery drain, automatic brightness, NFC not working, no update setting etc, check this thread down below for the solution. Get update failed with manual download and update via eecovery. Finished as an .ozip renamed to .zip and fails on each. No vpn I use for a Russian IP loads a result thru update menu at, I get no result of any kind. This phone is just a headache. Wish I'd have realized there was 2 variants before buying it under the assumption I could unlock the bootloader.

Don't need to rename .ozip to .zip if you are using stock recovery.

Go to additional settings and check to change region to India. It should be available below languages and input section.
Try it as it is available in my phone having 9.6.25 fw.

Custom ROM (especilly Xiaomi-EU) removes cust partition data which is required for changing region on Stock MIUI and it doesn't come in twrp flashable zips so if you want to change regian after going back to stock from custom roms you need to flash it via fastboot method.
you can search for flashing only cust or other tricks like editing build.prop for region change on google/xda (i never used them so i don't know much about it)

Great.happy that it helped you. I was using this for all the global betas and stable. This will not work only on EU MIUI roms as they doesn't have region option enabled.

You have to be signed in on the phone 60 days not the account, ppl switching to beta or back resets the countdown.... I have to wait till jan 15th because i switched to beta even though i have phone and singed in since September

today have unlock mi phone with adb ,after that y install twrp recovery but when move to reboot recovery the phone stay on boot screen
y tried to install CPH1871EX_11_OTA_0100_all_ReGYs0uNgSwA_44f5 but with not succes .
tried also to go back to PAFM00_11_OTA_0152_all_kLK0y3IEK2ur_local but wont install.
now play store dont start

The link is an official xiaomi link so the rom is legit, their en.miui website is not always updated properly. Let me know if you've tried it, you should be able to flash from updater app by manually choosing the rom package, if you are on global stable rom (not eu rom)

yes of course. I follow the instruktions on the realme site. Since i have the CN version of the phone i think thats why it does not work. whenever i select the update package it says " Verification failed". i tried some adb sideload without success

It's strange because it is sold in a global version and you have an EEA version.
Check this, restart your phone and look at the top on the first display for the padlock, is it open or closed?.
