How do I backup my encryption keys to restore stock Rom?

I have read that unlocking the bootloader wipes the decryption keys used to access the encrypted partition for proprietary Sony features.
Is there a way to backup these keys (DRM? ) and restore them back when reverting back to a stock Rom after installing a custom Rom?
How to backup keys
I belive that you need to be rooted
Yeah, some kind of temp root is required to run a script that backs up the TA partition.
I've also noticed that Sony does not have the Z3TC in the list of officially supported devices to unlock the bootloader.

Weird TA backup problem

Hi guys, so before I unlocked my bootloaer I rooted and backed up my TA partition... but now I'm trying to go back to stock sony from cm12 and restore TA backup
But the thing is, even after I flash stock KK and rooted it and restored my TA partition, my BL is still unlocked and in the Service menu > security , MARLIN, WIDEVINE and WMLA still has an unknown error...
Am I doing somethnig wrong? thx advance

Relocking bootloader and restoring DRM keys

hey all,
I'm on 23.1.A.0.690 fw with UB at the moment, and I'm planning to restore my DRM key (which I have a backup of) and re-lock the bootloader.
But I was wondering about :
What comes first, the re-locking or restoring the DRM keys
Will the re-locking process wipe the internal SD
Can the the process be done while being on Lollipop fw or should I downgrade to Kitkat?
Any information or insight is highly appreciated.
Thanks.
Before restoring your DRM keys you should make sure that your Kernel and FOTAKernel are both stock (do this by flashing just them with flashtool).
To answer your first question, when you restore the DRM keys it relocks the bootloader (which is why you must make sure your kernel and FOTAkernel are both stock).
The relocking process doesn't wipe the internal SD card.
DRM keys appear to be the same for your device across all firmwares. I have restored DRM keys taken from KitKat and restored them on LP with no problems.

A way to have root on MM with locked bootloader (TA partition intact) (Test Please?)

A few days ago this was released: Universal TA partition backup
This means that we can retrieve the TA partition with a LOCKED bootloader!
In theory, then we can save the TA partition, root the M4 after UNLOCKING the bootloader, and then relock it by flashing the TA partition back.
If you were wondering about DM-verity, the M4 doesn't enforce that.
Someone confirm this?
Is no one seriously going to try this out? Fine I'll try it in my own time...
I tried it last week and it doesn't work, the backup file was 0bytes. Anyway you can make a TA backup using TA backup master with downgrading to Lollipop, root using the known exploit and then unlock the bootloader.
To root on MM you have to flash boot image, which requires unlocked BL and re-locking after that will result a boot-loop.
Check out the new version. It works now. TA Dumped ^^
The main problem is still there, flashing SuperSU from twrp doesn't work, so no way for re-locking the BL with root after that.

[HELP] L1 after unlock , L3 after custom rom (Widevine on Oneplus 7t pro HD1911)

I went on many posts from this forum. Searched far and wide.
I am able to unlock and still pass widevine L1. However, for some reason, flashing custom roms makes me lose L1. MSM, at least, bring it back.
My procedure is as follows:
MSM to 11.0.5.1 (hotdog_14_O.25_211210_repack)
DRM Info L1 Yasnac pass
"Downgrade zip" of 11.0.5.1
DRM Info L1 Yasnac pass
adb reboot bootloader
adb oem unlock
"yes" on my phone
Wait for my phone to wipe and reboot into OOS setup screen[/B]
DRM Info L1 Yasnac fail
Reboot
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot.exe flash dtbo ../firmwares/lineage_20230221/dtbo.img
fastboot.exe flash vbmeta ../firmwares/lineage_20230221/vbmeta.img
crdroid firmware firmware_OP7TPro_HD1911_11.F.20_A12 script (first flash recovery, reboot into recovery, flash the rest, "You can install crDroid.")
Factory reset in CrDroid Recovery (Current: f2fs. Selected: F2FS)
Apply Update in CrDroid recovery
adb.exe sideload rom.zip (yes signature fail)
reboot into CrDroid ... or Nameless ... or Pixel Experience ... Or XTended... Setup google account and password and stuff
YASNAC (Pass or fail) + DRM Info L3
YASNAC sometime requires root and other trickery, but in the end Safetynet passes and DRM Info always fail.
Can anyone please give me an idea of what procedure change to I need to do to get L1 with custom Android 13 roms?
Thank you a lot....
I'm wondering the same thing as well.
My experience has been as follows:
MSM to 10.0.3 (hotdog_14_O.07_191012_repack)
DRM Info is L1
Upgrade to 11.X.X via OTA (I don't exactly remember which one but i guess it was the lastest android 11 update)
DRM Info is L1
adb reboot bootloader
adb oem unlock
"yes" on my phone
Wait for my phone to wipe and reboot into OOS setup screen
DRM Info is L3
Upgraded to latest OOS 12 via OTA
Followed the Pixel experience official guide to flash the recovery and the rom anyways (Pixel Experience 13)
And i'm still on this rom for now with Widevine L3
Is it even possible to have DRM L3 once the bootloader is unlocked?

Click to collapse
It is. Is it possible you OTA'ed to OOS12? (My research told me unlocking should be done with OOS11 exclusively)
Anyways if you use 11.0.5.1 for both, like in the procedure I've shared, I believe you should have identical result, that is DRM L1 unlocked (but safetynet fail)
Hey Guys,
I'm on the exact same problem for about a week now.
My Problem is, even after flashing OOS 10.5.1 with MSM, I'm still stuck on L1.
It'll somehow never come back, even on stock OOS.
YASNAC looks like this. Is that okay?
I literally tried everything now.
