Hey bros,
I am unable to root my Lenovo A369i.I tried by Kingo root (led by some kind of logic that it should be more secure and more successfull than one click root applications like Framaroot,by the way Kingo rooted four of my devices runinig android 4.2.2)It appears that procedure of rooting succedded, the process goes well, steps are done without complications (scripts fetched, etc.) but seems unrooted after reboot (checked by Root checker).Thinking of Root checker proving wrong i tried multiple root-demanding applications like Greenify,No-frills cpu control and similar, they worked fine but one thing was a mystery.None of them asked for SU permissions to launch ( the windows when "deny" or "allow" appear). So i thought of SU mistake then.I launched SU and after a short binary update, window saying that SU binary instalation gone wrong closses the SU.What is more stupid is that Kingo root, after the sucessfull root and reboot, shows that device is unrooted, even though rooted by the same sources not 15 seconds agh, come on!So after surfing a bit i found that Framaroot 1.8 roots my relatively cheap phone to have some kind of that "anti-root" security.Tried Framaroot, launched, rooting sucessful appears or something like that,BAM,nothing again.Surfed again, found that Vroot, tried, rooting sucessful,im happy, guess what?Phone keeps soft rebooting all the time. After i power up Android and get to the screen,20 seconds pass and it reboots.Fatory reset, doesnt work, again, doesnt work,FOR THE 10th time,it works,I am able to use my phone normally but I just want it rooted!.At this time i feel kinda half-rooted.Root demanding applications sometimes work, sometimes dont.Even the same root demanding applications I use sometimes work, sometimes don t.Never heard of this problem nor found the solution. No one had this kind of problems on any device,if this was specific for my device,i would have found it somewhere ,but noting. Thanks for your help!
Try to use root master.

I bought a Coolpad Arise (edit: Model 5560S) today at Kroger for $10 (and got 500 fuel points doing so). This phone blew me away. The proc, and gpu are better than I expected, it runs 4.4.2, and it has an SD card slot. Now to the issue:
I've been trying to get root on the device but haven't had any luck. Towel(with multiple modstrings) and Kingo didn't do anything. I'm ready to take the next step. I'm an Android developer and feel like I should help get root on this phone. I've tried to emulate the asec venerabilities to no avail. Is anyone else interested in rooting the arise? I'm not sure where to go from here but would like to have root since the stock os seams to be 99% aosp.
Pointers would also be greatly appreciated.
I'm no Dev but would love root as well. Bought 2 last night for stocking suffers for my kids. As you said you can't beat this for 10 bucks. And BTW I got 1000 points which surprised me figured I'd only get 500 for the initial, and considering I usually fill up with 20 plus gallons this phone literally was free with the discount I'll get! Thinking of going to get a third now!
Root would be great
There must be a LOT of these out there with the recent sale(s) on this model.
I'm impatiently waiting for this thread to get some action. I've tried everything. Even some Chinese program called permroot.apk that apparently works with coolpads, but I had no idea what I was doing since I can't read Chinese.

Do you have the drivers yet? Couldn't you just unlock the bootloader and load TWRP and an AOKP image that's rooted already?
Just got the arise to play around with. Still can't root device.

I still haven't been able to get root.. I went out and bought another one thinking that the system update might have locked something down (still couldn't root). Since I have second one, I'm going to try some more invasive options.
CoolPad Arise Needs Root Quick
I have recently recieved the coolpad arise and really want to figure out a way to root it. So thats why i have joined this forum thread. XD
Found this by accident, maybe it'll help get root... if you remove the coolpad battery, and plug in a usb data cable from your computer to the phone, the coolpad screen lights up and says "fastboot mode". I tried some of the usual fastboot commands, ie, oem unlock, but nothing happened, it says "waiting for device".
I bought two more of these the other day (today might be the last day for the sale so stock up).
Also found this thread: [Q] Coolpad 5560s - MegaThread: Info/Rooting??
I bought 4 of them, if I wanted there is 1 more there at the store still, lol
try using google translator i use it for that purpose xD

Unroot?
I rooted my coolpad 5560s and now the notifications and screenlock aren't working so i was wondering if there is a way you could unroot.:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
Successful root
 I successfully rooted my coolpad arise after multiple attempts with different software. iRoot, Towelroot, vRoot, OneClickRoot, Chainfire's Root App, and Kingoroot all failed.
Someone made a root toolkit for the coolpad arise, but it failed.
I tried exploit apps to try to get root privs. They didn't work.
I then used Root Genius on a computer and successfully got root.
Do not take any updates before or after you root, because you might not be able to root.
To root enable adb on the phone by going to settings > About Device > and tap build number several times until you get confirmation that you're a dev.
Run root genius, and plug in the phone. Click the root button. If phone prompts to allow the pc access, allow it. It will root the device. You must have a good oem cable and good usb port when rooting. If root fails try again on a different pc or with a different cable. Also while rooting you need internet.
I would recommend deleting the touchpal keyboard and freezing log2file and system updates.

Will this Root Genius work with Scratch Wireless ROM? After I root, can I make a ROM dump and backup the Scratch Wireless ROM?
Oh Crap! Now I'm sort of bricked!
I was starting to get some instability (probably due to many device tweaks and the device being almost full, not from Root Genius) on my phone and I went to flash it back to stock for a re-root. This time I gave the root package another try (it didn't work for me the first time perhaps because of maybe some .net framework issues). This time it worked after powering on I followed the instructions and I went through and checked if every app worked. The browser and camera default apps did not work at all. They would open and force close. So, I decided to retry to root toolkit and my device never got pass the "Powered By Android" screen and it wouldn't boot into stock recovery. So I used the Coolpad Official Flash Tools (YGDP) and flash it back to stock. The device didn't work either. I would get the same screen and I was unable to boot into stock recovery.
Please help as I use this device as my everyday device, app dev device, and at my college classes. It is also my primary source for accessing the internet (I use the hotspot often).
Phew, got it fixed by flashing the original stock rom with the company tools.
Hello, my name is Shoubhik and I am new to the forum.
I have a panasonic p55 mobile which i want to root.
Now, please tell me the exact steps of rooting, using the Kingo or framaroot or towelroot.
Please tell exactly step by step, because I know practically nothing about android.
The phone is purchased from store and nothing (like bootloader unlocking etc.) has been performed on it. So, please give detailed procedure, and also what software or internet connection is needed for the process. Thanks in advance.
The phone runs on MT65xx.
Question solved by myself
You can root Panasonic P55 by using the kingroot app. Some people, however, tell that the app steals personal data.
easiest way to root
Just download kingroot app, instal it..after installing app will recognize ur device and a root option comes on d screen.. Just root it.....
I cant root my kult 10 smartphone. I have tried many methods but eventually all failed.I seriously need to root my smartphone for developing purposes. Please help me.
If it was gonna be used for development you should have done more research. There may not be a root option let along any of the kernel source code you would need to start development.
Rooting method for kult 10
1. Install king root on ur pc... U can fnd king root on google

I would not suggest that root method to anyone to be honest. There have been privacy and security concerns with it.
Can anyone please help me. I've got the straight talk Alcatel pixi charm A450tl and can't root it. I've tries kingroot and framaroot and they don't wor . Please any help would be awesome
pixi charm rooted.
How to ROOT Any Android Device Without A Computer youtu.be/bfs25NijwwA check that out
Its the tutorial I used
Follow this to the letter. I used king root 4.8.5 i thought it would be easier or better to use a later version. More bug free.
I downloaded root checker first. Just be careful to get the right king root. There are fakes rt along with the genuine.
And make SURE you have WiFi or 4G connected throughout the process. K R uses its cloud storage for files and needs clean access
While rooting. It was fast and easy. I immediately cleaned up the system . I'm 5 times faster in about 15 / 20 min. Tip: if u use Facebook and messenger, using the tools In KR stopping "auto start" on these two will mskeva ton of difference.
Good luck.
If u find out which v. Of which recovery to use for ROM on this device plz let me kno.
I rooted it with KingRoot, make sure USB Debugging enabled and device administrators disabled (not sure if necessary). Also, I unchecked verify apps. I can't find any custom recovery for it tho. Any ideas if there is a CWM or TWRP for this?
