Cannot Unlock Xiaomi Redmi Note 4x + boot loop

Hi,
I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4x and it has a boot loop issue. When I turn on the phone, "Mi" logo appears and after a minute it reboots. I decided to flash its official stock ROM. After some search, the phone should be unlocked in order to flash the stock ROM. I downloaded Mi Unlock Tool, I signed in and I got " current account is not bound to this device" error. Since I've got no access to the device and therefore cannot add an account, I cannot unlock the phone to flash the stock ROM. Is there a solution for this problem or has my phone got bricked?
Thanks in advance.
Any ideas? Please help.
Have you tried flashing MIUI through Fastboot?
Sent from my Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 using XDA Labs
Yes but no luck. In order to flash, I believe that the phone must be unlocked. As I mentioned, I cannot unlock the phone.

Unofficial methods such as?
you have to bind your mi-account email first and then in developers settings (if im not wrong) you have to sign in your email again to get access on mi unlock tool

I cannot access to the phone because as soon as the Mi logo shows my phone reboots. Thus I can neither bind my mi account nor access to developer settings on my phone.

Unlock waiting time?

Hi,
Has anyone tried to unlock the bootloader on their new phone? If so, what was the wait time you were given by Xiaomi? Am curious as recent Xiaomi phones have vastly increased waiting times for unlocking but as this phone is a global model and supposedly developer friendly I am hoping to not have to wait weeks when I receive mine.
Also, as an oem unlock does a full reset, is there any good method for performing a nandroid style backup of all apps and associated settings so if I do have to wait, I don't need to set everything up twice?
https://en.miui.com/unlock/
not able to apply, after login it just says ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS :/
were u able to apply ?
edit : installed mi unlock on pc then tried, says 1440 hours wtf

AFAIK there is no way to take a nandroid backup without rooting your device. Now if you could root your phone without unlocking the bootloader that might just do.
However there are few exceptions like HELIUM you can try.

Xiaomi changed the bootloader unlock policy. Now, you can unlock the bootloader after 3 days. I just unlocked mine which was showing 720hours.

Has the oem unlock switch actually stuck in the correct position, it's a stupid switch that reverts itself, when you leave the screen you gotta click it a few times, sorry if you knew that already

Please don't.....I have done this once..and if we accidentally flashed the firmware update pack...u will lose ur recovery...lock the bootloader and phone won't boot up...
Instead of that ...u can flash the rom via mi flash tool while u plugged in your phone in eld mode...use a edl cable to enter edl mode..that's better..

Flashing stock ROM for Mi A3 from EDL mode

Hi,
The Xiaomi Mi A3 is an Android One phone, is an authorized Xiaomi account necessary to flash the official ROM from EDL mode when the bootloader is locked?
The Mi A1 and A2 / Lite phones also Android One, don't require an authorized account in the same case, what's the difference with the Mi A3, perhaps the elf programmer file?

go to Fastboot mode & unlock
go to EDL mode using command :
Code:
fastboot flashing unlock
fastboot flashing critical_unlock
fastboot oem edl
My phone went into bootloop without any hacking/modding. I ended up EDL but whenever I flash I get a unauthorized from the flash tool.

Same thing happened to me, you need an authorized Mi account to flash in EDL mode. I had to connect remotely to someone who had an authorized Mi account to unbrick it.

it just boot to fastboot mode (the one with the rabbit and the android).
thanks in advance for your comments.
Hi, I am facing similar issue as my phone is also in the fastboot mode.
Xiaomi is telling to contact their service center but in the current scenario, this is not possible.
Can you suggest how to get some OS installed so that my phone is unbricked.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
The problem is, i had never enable USB debugging. So no tool seems to be working.
The issue occured when i received an OTA update for Android 10 and my phone went into restart mode.
There it got stuck on the fastboot screen.
I dont know if this occured due to it having being connected to charger at that point of time.
Anyways, is there any alternate option considering the USB debugging is not enabled and neither is the bootloader unlocked.

[pheonixin]Unable to bind Mi Account

Unable to bind Mi Account with the device: Error Code: 86023
In order to unlock the device using the Mi Unlock Tool, the device need to be bind to the Mi Account in order to get the permission and to successfully unlock the device, this has been the usual protocol in all other Xiaomi phones.
As far as we know, Redmi K30 4G (phoenix) unlocks well, but Poco X2 (pheonixin) cannot be unlocked as of now because of the error.
Steps to reproduce:
1.Go to Settings -> About Phone and tap the MIUI version multiple times to unlock Developer Options.
2. Go to Settings -> Additional Settings -> Developer Options -> Mi Unlock Status
3. Here you can see an option at the bottom to Add account and device, if you tap it, you'll meet an error which says: "Couldn't add. Error code:86023"
Device cannot be unlocked until the account and device gets binded.
I have been trying to unlock since couple of days and getting same error, https://twitter.com/POCOSupport tells me they will call me and help me get this fixed, but so far not received any calls from them. I see you are one of the devs who has received the device from Poco X2 https://www.xda-developers.com/poco-x2-custom-rom-kernel-developer-program/ but how can the miss the point, in order to do any custom ROM development min requirement is unlocking the device and that itself is NOT working.
Hope the guys at Poco will fix this issue soon.

I'm also getting the same 86023 error.

Nothing yet, last official reply was from POCO's SM Manager on twitter :

Not sure if this is handled by their dev teams in CN/IN.

Nope, no changes. If you delete account, reboot and add account sometimes you will get a different error for a sometime. But eventually you will start hitting same ol' 86023 error.
Updated to 11.0.4 , still not able to link account.
Changelog mentioned Mi link support, I thought it's about unlocking
