Testing now, awesome job!
Wifi and Playstore works flawlessly
Gestures flow way more easily than in MIUI
Some animations in setup were stuttering
Looks like a daily driver for me =) Thanks!
Edit --
After some test, had some trouble downloading CoD Mobile from Playstore (too slow) and videos in general enter a loop (facebook and the animations I previously mentioned). Could not restore Migrate backup too, and Whatsapp could not restore backup =S

Yes, but it was my first time using it. Installed ROM, reboot, Magisk, reboot, backup.zip, reboot, but it couldn't find metadata.
Since I wiped /data /cache and /system to install ROM, i had to backup on my machine via adb /sdcard/Migrate and restored it after flash, maybe the problem was with that too.

Check any file explorer app and see if you see you internal storage. If you don't, this rom is having the same problem as CesiumOS. You won't be able to use the internal storage with this rom if that's the case.
If you see the internal storage, you have to follow the below steps.
1. Boot up the ROM without flashing backup zips.
2. Install solid explorer (or any similar root explorer)
3. Make the folder migrate_cache under /data/local/tmp/. The full path should be /data/local/tmp/migrate_cache
4. Directly extract all the backup contents from inside the zip under that directory. In solid explorer, open the zip, select everything, tap the copy icon at bottom left. Now go to the above path and paste everything.
5. Install the latest helper 3.0 (use #download_helper.3.0). Disable Google Play protect temporarily if needed. Install the helper.
6. Open the helper app. All applications should be detected. Restore them.
In case of permission related errors, in the "Preferences" of helper, check the option: "Remount data"
Join the migrate telegram group while you're at it. The newest alpha doesn't have this issue as i heard and it's only available though telegram right now.

What the benefit of "Allow signature spoofing" if GAPPS already included lmao since this is mainly used for MicroG.
Also do safetynet pass in this rom?

Can u add the 64 mp support in the next ypdate?
First of all thank you to developers.
The questions I have are:
1- is necessary (when we are still in a Android 9 ROM) make the fastboot flashes that are in "GUIDE -INFO-PSA- Redmi Note 8 Pro - Megathread", if flashing the ROM has problems, to make possible reinstall the starting point Android 9? (it does not cause problems to flash Evolution after that ?);
2- where do I find Indian vendor ? (I'm in a Global ROM, it has vendor.img, but is the Global one).

This rom is not pure OmniRom, but close to, for convenience purpose. Roms are build from this script and can contain some lightweight modifications (like mkshrc, or TWRP app disabling, @nailyk certificate authority included, etc...) but will never have heavy changes like replacing an app by another, etc...

How to post
Reports without logs or step to reproduce are useless (read contribute).
You are welcome to post your review: what is working, not working, etc... Check into know issues before.
You are welcome to report any typo, error, etc...
Try to keep thread clean as a dev reference. Thanks in advance.
How to report problems
To report problem, please provide logs.
It is always better to include reference to the Installed version. This guide is really detailed and explained everything about bug reports.
If you have any doubts, take the most logs. There is never enough logs
How to get logs
If your device is not booting at all, we need information about how you flash and all the handling you do, the display status, light status, and if available a dump of /proc/last_kmesg*
If you have a non working peripheral (non-working radio/wifi/etc...) please provide a full logcat and full dmesg, example:
Code:
adb reboot
adb wait-for-device
adb shell dmesg > dmesg.log
adb logcat -d > logcat.log
If you have a non working app please provide a partial logcat:
Code:
adb reboot
adb wait-for-device
adb logcat -c
<launch your app>
adb logcat -d > logcat.log
On this rom, there is a script who detect device at install time and provide the right functions for single or dual sim. If you have modem problems (like data not working or no signal) please also provide the /tmp/recovery.log.:
If you have ADB access to your device in twrp just use
Code:
adb pull /tmp/recovery.log .
after flashing omnirom.
If you do not have ADB access use the 'copy to SD' button in the advanced tab, then transfer it the way you like.
then upload your files to a service like pastebin.com / paste.omnirom.org
How to contribute
Code is like hieroglyphs for me:
No worries you can contribute anyway! Install the rom, do tests, read failure logs, look at internet for potential fix/similar users experience, is the biggest part of debugging. Then collect all of this and write your results here.
Code is like hieroglyphs for me and logs are worst:
No problem, collects logs the right way if you can, explain how you encounter the problem: detailed step to reproduce could be enough: explain exactly how you encounter the error/problem, it should produce each time someone repeat your steps. Then we will be able to fix it.

Hello guys,
As mentioned error 7 for 6603, but can be fixed via provided workaround for now☺
My sim card was not detected at all. System was asking for sim card insertion. ? (I wiped everything before installation, flashed zip and gapps nano, tried also the same with sideload)
I had to directly switch back, because I need working phone today. But I will try to provide logs as soon as possible.
Thank you a lot!

@nailyk will you update the rom to fix the BT and Hotspot soon?
And thanks for this great rom
release 3
That's a failing launch
So new zip with already removed assert, and some fix for single sim who do not have data. Please wipe /system before flashing.
Looks like another expected issue pop out: BT is broken. We are currently working on it. (bt was working 2 days ago )
Sorry for the mess
Looks very good. Even with October security patch level.
I know it may be a little early, but can you say anything about battery life (especially standby) compared to 7.1.2 or stock?

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Hi,
Somehow I'm not being to properly install and boot this build.
I repartitioned, then restored the stock partitions via the same script; installed the above TWRP.
I can only see the LOS logo for a very long time.
Any idea what it could be?
Thank you,

I am not sure what you mean. This ROM runs on reparttioned device only. Boot into recovery, select wipe, select system partition and tap on 'resize or repair' button (you don't need to repair or resize, it's just to check partition size). There will be a report on partition size. This size should be above 1.1 Gb or the ROM won't boot. Exit this page without doing any modifications. If the partition size is 800 Mb or so you have to repartition the device.

You do not need to repartition. It works correctly on stock partition scheme (system with 832M size). Also, make sure that in TWRP, all your partitions are in ext4 format.
Try doing this:
- Goto Wipe -> Advanced wipe -> select all partitions and then swipe. Once done go back to main menu
- Goto Wipe -> Format Data -> type "yes" and then press enter. Once done go back to main menu
- Goto Reboot and then select Recovery
- After reboot, tick the "allow system modification" and then swipe to enter TWRP.
- Connect to Laptop/PC and copy lineageos.zip
- Flash only lineageos.zip (for testing)
- Reboot
If you get the welcome screen, then there should be an issue with any other zips that you are flashing along with the ROM.

cm-14.1 works with stock partition scheme. You need repartition only for Android 9 ROMs and above (If I am not wrong as I don't know about oreo)
I have successfully installed on my Nexus 7 (2013) LTE (deb) with stock partition scheme.

Hi,
Just wanted to report that, after restoring my tablet with official image from Google and wiping it and flashing lineageos-14.1, it all went ok.
I then proceeded to flash BitGapps core and Magisk and it's running like a charm.
I don't know why it wasn't running, but I decided to revert back to the original partition scheme, restore stock images, and start all over again.
This version is stable, fluid and fast, and probably it's the best version for our device, since Android Q seems to be a bit more heavy on resources (tried the official flox build).
Thank you for keeping our device alive!

I felt the same which is why I went back to Nougat.
I use microg as only use it for watching movies/tv shows and for reading. AuroraOSS works like a charm for installing apps.
By the way, If you want things like DT2W (double tap to wake), overclocking CPU/GPU, etc... you can also flash ElementalX-N7-6.17 kernel

Yep, that's the kernel I'm running. Mainly because of DT2W. Loads of options when flashing because of the Aroma installer and easily manageable with exkm, which I bought some years ago.

When you flash this kernel, is there a way to re-apply/restore existing settings? I have had to go through the Aroma installer and manually enter the same settings after every update, but I can see an elementalxbackup file in my Internal Storage, which would be much easier to use if possible!

I think you need to use EX Kernel Manager app from Play Store which is basically app developed by the same person who built ElementalX kernel for managing the kernel. But you will need to Root your device for the app to work (if I am not wrong)
this looks great - thank you - does it work with any of the Custom Kernels?

I create flashable microg zip via https://github.com/WeAreFairphone/flashable-zip_microG and then flash it along with ROM, magisk and kernel. Afterwards, I use SmaliPatcher Module to patch and enable SignatureSpoofing so that MicroG works.
I had also raised Merge Request in lineageos4microg so that We can build ROM with microg without syncing repository but my MR is still open and so, Not able to build that.

Hi,
Just wanted to report that, after restoring my tablet with official image from Google and wiping it and flashing lineageos-14.1, it all went ok.

Hi,
May i know which 'official image' you restored and which version of twrp was used?
I flashed LOS 18.1 before and it work but seems lag. Then I tried to flash this ROM but faced the same problem, endless looping is the screen of upwards arc w/ circle (LOS logo?) running from right to left again and again.
Thank you!
Update: Well, i just follow the link provided by @JT1510365 in https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...oted-unmodified-6-0-mra58v-flashable.3694735/ and download the stock rom, restore to 6.0, it boot normal. Then flash twrp & this rom and it work now.
Thank you for your share of the reinstallation of 'official image'.

ROM OS Version: Android 11
Based On: crDroid 6.x / crDroid 8.x
Version Information
Status: Stable
Notes:
- If you have bootloop after installation, try format data again or to change GAPPS.
- Reboot after a clean install and initial setup so that the BegoniaParts item appears in the settings.
- GAPPS and Google Photo required for G-Cams.
- If you will use Viper FX, then do not forget to enable legacy mode in the application settings.
- If you will use the built-in G-Cams, do not forget to apply configs (three taps between the camshot button and gallery button). If the camera does not find the built-in configs, just reboot the device and try again.
- If you OFF James DSP after ON, reenable Dirac (OFF/ON), if you need it.
- If you OFF G-cam 64 after ON, reboot the device, otherwise bugs are possible.
- ANX cam: If you have problems with a wide angle camera - just turn off the lens distortion correction function, or set the mode to 9/16.

Hi all, anyone using this as their daily driver? Keen to hear how is going. Thanks
Thanks
Thank you for your Work.
Trcamera doesnt Work for me.
In Anx also my front cam doesnt Work.
Any solutions?
The ROM is fast!
NikGApps is working fine to me (I don't know if Google Auto and Google Assistant work because I don't use them).
Trcamera crashes when going to gallery. This fixed when I flashed the omni version of NikGApps. Turns out that the default app for gallery must be Google Photos (AOSP Gallery not working for trcamera)
I don't know about the charging... It says it's it's slowly charging even if I'm using the original fast charger of my phone.
This ROM is awesome nonetheless and thank you devs for keeping up the good work!

I uninstalled the pre-installed trcamera and installed this version.
Before doing that, flash this buffer fix in Magisk.

mostly stable in everything. Both the Cameras are fine. All features functional. Charging and battery performance all good. The pixel launcher feels buggy with the recents tray so using the crdoid home app. Pretty good.

The assistant is working fine with full functional voice recognition. But changing the device fingerprint to something else creates a problem with Ok google because The assistant 2.0 or later gets installed and something happens. ( I haven't used android auto too so no comment).
I also flashed nikgapps full package and everything is fine.
The slow charging problem that u have is not happening with me. What happens is that at the starting it shows charging slowly. Then after a few seconds or a minute it starts charging rapidly.
@TTTT555 do you really need to wipe the internal storage ? It's kinda lame to have to copy everything, couldn't you just wipe data ?

Oh, no no. I meant trCam and AnXcam app...both are working pretty fine so far. My rear and front cam works fine anyways. I have the old device. I am not on the new one.. I think I know what ur trying to say. Ur front cam probably doesn't work ri8? I'm pretty sure in most of the threads people said that the new device kernel hasn't been released and new cam isn't responding in many roms because of that. Honestly i don't think there's any workaround for that unless the kernel is officially released.

Are you sure Wifi is connected?
If yes, try a different package of Gapps or try to restore a older backup (/data only) from a different ROM, if you have. Also be aware, that our tablets cannot connect to Routers with WPA3.
This will be fixed in one of the next builds.

Hi. I´ve tested the Issues you mentioned.
The Camera App seems to be broken or has a wrong resolution. That´s nothing i can fix but i´ll report it to the devs. As a workaround install Open Camera. This App is working normal.
I tested phonecalls (in and out) with 4G and Edge. Both are working for me.
Maybe there´s an issue with your local provider. If the problem persists, i would suggest to dl ROM and Gapps again (maybe a file is corrupted), delete your ROM in TWRP + format /data and do a clean install of both, ROM and Gapps. Often this will fix those errors.
Your logcat is looking not too bad except a crash of firebase, what definetly could cause the trouble. But we´ll see it, if you´ve done a clean and fresh installation.

Hi @crazydrive22 . I'll take the opportunity and ask you a question of mine. I'm having trouble flashing any SM-T531 compatible roms. I will list the steps I followed.
1 - Flasing twrp with heimdall. At first I tried here: https://twrp.me/samsung/samsunggalaxytab4101.html but ta off the link there.
I downloaded it here on the XDA forum: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/recovery-3-5-2_9-unified-matisse-millet-twrp-recovery.4019831/ ;
2 - full wipe and format;
3 - Flashing this rom (with or without gapps) Resulting: Loop in Samsung logo or should I wait too long?
Thanks for working.

Hi.
First boot can take a lot of time. If it's not booting i would suggest to flash Stock 5.0.2 and start again from scratch. It's nescessary to had 5.0.2 installed once to make sure, that the Bootloader is updated. The Bootloader from KitKat (4.x) is not working with LineageOS 9 or newer and it's forks like crDroid or Cypher. The TWRP from Matteo is good, it's the lastest one and working well. But i can't tell you anything about Heimdall. I'm using Odin only to flash Stock or TWRP.

Thanks for the answer, it must be the 4.4.x bootloader, I didn't even ask if I had the 5.x.x one, I'm flashing the 5.0.2 About haimdall. It's wonderful, a point that can be negative is that the process is more manual, you must select each file for its respective partition, the good thing is that with it you can capture the pit file, it is very rare for an error to occur except if there is a problem on the PC or cable. It works on Linux and Windows and Mac OS X. I will return with news.
This is working amazing on my SM-T530NU, far better than whatever Nook bloat that was running before.

Bug reporting:
-> DO NOT report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
-> Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
-> Do not approach us without any logs for reporting bugs
-> If it is a random reboot, grab everything from /sys/fs/pstore. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
-> Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Thank you so much I've been waiting for this!
Sorry for being newbie, can you provide more detailed installation guide? I'm on OOS 11.0.4.1 and have my bootloader unlocked, but no root nor custom recovery.
Also if I removed my phone lock (pin and fingerprint) prior to the installation would I still need to format my personal data?
Thanks again!

Yes and for installation support join the linked telegram
Great work Harish. Also congratulations for first official. Good ROM, highly recommended. Definitely daily driver and better than A11.
Thanks for still continuing to develop for the OP7.
I was a little confused about how to install it, but I'll try to go to the telegram to understand it better.
Great work.
I have installed it yesterday and it is working great and pretty smooth than A11 roms. I am planning to use it as daily driver, not sure if all apps i use including banking apps are compatible with A12 yet. E.g. HSBC India app is broken on this rom. Please confirm if itbcan work. Thanks.
Also request to include face unlock feature under security tab if possible in the next build. Thanks.

Sorry for noob questions in advance.
I can see installation is done via fastboot only, but after installation we need to format data from recovery.
1. Which recovery to use to format data? I doubt rom comes with a recovery.
2. Format data to f2fs or ext4?
3. How's the situation with widevine L1? If you have it then can you post steps for that as well.
Right now I'm on stock rom with locked bootloader.

Once you install ROM from fastboot as mentioned in OP, after installation is complete your phone automatically restarts at that time you have to boot into recovery. The recovery this time will be ROM recovery in which you will have to format data before to reboot to system. Hope this helps.

Could you describe the step by step installation? I would like to exit A10 10.3.8 for KOSP.

Steps are pretty simple as mentioned in OP. Update your phone to latest OOS (A11) first before to go for this A12 ROM.
The rom is smooth and responsive, I will use it as daily driver.
Issues I face:
1- my voice sounds digitalized or something, using the phone built in mic.
2- The notification panel sometimes become 100% transparent.
3- Sometimes the whole screen flashes with max brightness during fingerprint unlocking. (Maybe started to happen after enabling single tap to wake)
4- In SIMs settings, only the 1st SIM is showing, and I can deactivate it, however, my 2nd SIM isn't showing there and there's no way to deactivate it (both SIMs are working all the time)
5- I think the vibration intensity while setting the alert slider to vibration is quite high (maybe I'm used to OOS).
6- Vibration intensity for notifications is also a little bit high even though I set it as "low" in settings.
The fingerprint unlocking vibration intensity is the perfect intensity for me (I think it's like the OOS one) I hope you can make the "low" option equal to that
I'll update my reply whenever I face new things.
All are minor issues, otherwise, amazing rom, thank you so much I really appreciate all the hard work you do.
P.S. If anyone wants to enable the "single tap to wake" it's under Settings - krypton settings - device settings - touchscreen gestures - single tap. I thought this could help someone.
Does cromecast work?
Does fingerprint work as good as on oxygen os?
Is battery good? I have bad battery on oxygen os 11.0.4.1, android system is eating my battery...
For root i just instal magisk app through fastboot or in the twrp?
Thank you for your anwsers.
Edit: can not install via ADB. Instalation guide is not good for me. Should I unzip file with image or not. Do not have theese problems when instaling other roms. Any help would be apreciated.

I don't use Chromecast but on telegram people have reported that it works. Just Miracast is not working.
Battery life cannot be determined this soon
Magisk is reported to be working. Need patched boot.img to be flashed via fastboot
You can't install this rom via adb. Only fastboot method works as of now.

Keep the KOSP fastboot ROM img-ZIP file in the platform/fastboot folder. This issue will be resolved
Looks like a new build is up
