Android 10 - Persistent Notifications in Settings - Xiaomi Mi A3 Questions & Answers

How do I dismiss the persistent notifications displayed on top of settings app? Attached is the screenshot for reference.

You cant, that is a bug. Xiaomi apparently can only fix one bug every 20 days.

This is not an bugs, the Android 10 version we used is an old compilation
So it will fix with new updates
The Android 10 version used is old.

[Test] M1D65H to M1D65N Today

I have the notification to update [Test] M1D65H to M1D65N this morning and don't see mention here. I am holding off installing it for the moment. Anyone know anything about it?
I've tried to take a screenshot to show it but that's been coming up black...
I have the same update, but the [Test] part seems a bit scary since it's out of warranty.
Have you already updated it?

I have also received this notification on my watch. I'm a little wary of the '[Test]' part too - don't recall seeing this on previous updates.
I think I'll probably delay the update until we get some more information.
I had the same this morning. Just did the update. After Wear rebuilt the cache I went to Settings and now this is the version:
Wear 1.5.0.3853039
Android OS 6.0.1
Security level April 1, 2017
So it just looked like a monthly security update I think
I had exactly the same message this morning and it is still sitting on my watch for actioning....the [TEST] made me aphrensive
Thanks farris for being the guinea pig. based on this I shall go ahead and update from 1st Feb security level release to this 1st April release.

Thanks! I'll install it as well. Lets see what will happen
edit:
It's still working!
Wish it was Android 2.0...
I had the same Test labeled Update today popping Up, just Hit Install. Worked.
Good to See updates, had hoped for android2 too
Thanks for the feedback everyone. After posting that, I had a busy day and never got to revisit the matter. I may wait a little longer.
Any improvements? My watch can get unusably sluggish at times. Removing unnecessary apps and factory resetting did nothing.
Is the option " change watchface" under settings new? I don't remember this one
I haven't updated and have change watch face, second setting option below adjust brightness.
april security update
I have just updated my G Watch and everything seems to work fine (just like it did before).
A question for those on the latest (end of March) Android Wear app: did you experience occasional notifications sync problems (especially when replying from the watch) and (above all) frequent force closes of the Android Wear app (on the phone)? If yes, has this update fixed those problems?
I am asking because due to those annoying problems I went back to the Android Wear app version from February so I would like to avoid updating and going back to the latest Android Wear app (the most recent one is still the troublesome one from the end of March) only to see again the same problems and having to go again through the downgrade process (uninstall Android Wear, install the version from February, re-set everything up).

After a few months, I finally noticed what the [TEST] tag were for. It was released on April fools day(april 1st), carry the code M1D65N, "N" as in nougat, or android wear 2.0. Read it as, [TEST] Nougat build. Someone tried to make an april fools prank and it didn't work.. ROFL.
The first letter signifies the Android version, not the last...

If Samsung decides to bring any of those functions to the Note 8, you won't see it until we get Android Pie. They don't do function changes between Android builds.
It may be just a coincidence, but this release seems buggy as hell. Recent apps panel closes instead of opening the new app, Bluetooth music plays as part of phone conversations and jumps when trying to resume music from phone sounds. I've to re-link it to my car 3 different times just to get it to connect. I'm off to download the previous version. Hopefully, that will help.

Chrome 69 and mediapad

Well I updated chrome to the last version, but it still shows the older ui, even forcing the flags, no changes
Are you experiencing a similar issue?
No issue for me. Nothing to do and the new UI is here.
Are you sure the update is really done ? For my OnePlus 5T, An error occured during install of the update that disappeared only after reboot.

well, i have:
installed the updates from playstore
installed the apk alone
removed and reinstalled the updates
rebooted
closed and restarted the app
wiped cache partition
forced the flags in chrome settings
no way to have the new ui

It's working with Chrome Canary
I have the same problem. I have the latest update but the old UI, only on my phone is the new UI.
same here. Chrome Beta 69 dont show the new ui. canary works... idk whats wrong ...
Chrome 69
Full release on my MPad 8.4 with the new UI is fine.
I don't have the new UI on my US 10.8 or my phone for that matter. A LG G5. And both have 69 installed.
No solution for this problem?
I don't get it... Chrome Canary work's ... Chrome Beta...nope...
Can't find a solution [emoji58]
Finally Chrome Beta 71 works perfect. Looks like on Dekstop with the new Material Design. Nice.
You probably have your VIEW set to SMALL under display settings, I noticed that on my M5 8.4 it didnt got the new UI unless I had the VIEW mode set to DEFAULT.
I've tried this but doesn't work on my M5 10 tab

Delayed notifications on Pie

Hi. I'm using Liquid Remix Bloody 10.0.13 (Pie) on my Redmi Note 3 Pro 3/32. This rom and basically all ROMs based on Android 9 have problem with delayed notifications. If someone is sending me message on Facebook Messenger I'm not receiving it. No reaction from phone. At most cases message is displayed when I turn on the screen. I've tried many ROMS based on Android 9 and this happens every time. Yesterday I've tried AOSP based on Android 7.1 and messages was showing instantly. On MIUI everything was good too. I don't want to use this old ROMs, because I have nice version of GCam, which works only in Android 9 (or maybe in Oreo too?). Moreover, in my case AOSP 7.1 has a bug with SIM Carrier - it shows 0 or 1/2 of range.
So my question is: Is there a ROM based on Android 9, which you use daily and have no problem with notifications? Or maybe there is a setting which can "unlock" notifications? I've tried turning off battery optimization for system launcher and Facebook Messenger, but this didn't help.

Question 61.0.A.15.35

It looks new update was released:
Xperia 1 III (XQ-BC52)
The latest software and firmware versions for the Xperia 1 III (XQ-BC52) XperiCheck.com checks the Sony servers every 5 minutes to always display the latest information.
xpericheck.com
Anyone received it already and can share feedback? Knowing sony only copy paste of security patch from Google but who knows?
Stubborn sony still does not share release notes! <angry>
Got it yesterday, no issues, but I haven't noticed any obvious changes either.
On previous version, I've had a black notification bar stick to the top of game screen a few times, no reoccurrences of that so far, but am not convinced it's fixed yet.
Now generally available in UK - was only for carrier versions previously I understand. Only change I can detect is October security update. Shame Sony never do a change log
Has anyone else lost touch and navigation vibration since this update? I just got the update today and since then I'm not getting any vibration when interacting with the phone at all and can't get it re-activated

Looks like a restart fixed it!
Touch and navigation vibration is so buggy. One restart it works, another restart it doesn't work and another restar it works. I think it is time for Sony to fix this. Anyway that is my problem with touch and navigation vibration. After this software update it works but we will see if they fixed this..
Hi,
I noticed changes in the Clock application and when it's ringing, buttons looks like new Android 12 Design maybe...
Nothing else noticed as changed since yesterday (so not a long time...)

The clock app is updated through the play store by google, not by sony. I had the new design before this new sony update.
ok, sorry
The XQ-BC62 got this today and I can't find anything that changed except for a security update. It's a huge plus if Sony has automated security patches, but there's a lot of unfinished work on this phone that I'd like to see addressed. Start fixing carrier support!
Alot of ppl are saying heat fixed but mines still gets warm
The Photo Pro and Cinema Pro apps run cool now. The phone gets warm, but hot, if I run a video transcoder.
It seems to have a new bug with tap-to-wake.

Yea it better on chinese ROM for me. I removed all the badiu crap and it close to stock than ever.
Word of advice. Do not change anything in the default phone setting >>> *#*#4636#*#* this will cause the mobile network setting to fc and only way out or to fix is starting from scratch with new flasher.
