Download stock ROM from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a3/how-to/rom-xiaomi-mi-a3-laurelsprout-t3962489
It doesn't matter which version you choose (EU/global) and save it to your computer
Then get miflash tools from here to your pc and install it https://www.xiaomiflash.com/
Then reboot the device to fastboot and switch active slot to 'a' this is a really important step if you don't do this then you will completely f&#k up your device.
Open miflash select the file and in the bottom right corner just use the flash_all.bat file. You can also lock your bootloader again if you choose flash_all_lock.bat but there is no reason to lock bootloader again and it's safer in case anything bad happens when flashing.
Then click the flash button and wait for about 600/700 seconds and the device will reboot completely stock

Any beginner friendly guides on unlocking bootloader and installing TWRP etc.?

Hey guys,
I'm still running the stock EUI ROM and getting pretty sick of it.
I've looked at getting my bootloader unlocked and installing TWRP but it seems pretty complicated for this device and what information I could find didn't work for me.
Can anyone show me some noob friendly guides on getting this done?
Much appreciated!
What?!? I never had a phone which bootloader unlocks easier than in Le Max 2. You have a special switch for that i developer options. That's all. Next you have to restart your phone in bootloader mode and flash desired recovery using fastboot commands.

Wow, I didn't know that's how you unlock the bootloader. Sorry like I said I'm not very familiar with this device yet. Thanks!
As far as using fastbood commands I tried that but the drivers didn't seem to work on my PC. I couldn't get any of that to work. But I'll keep trying.
If you have anything like Samsung Kies or HTC Sync, etc. installed on your PC, you might try to remove it and reinstall drivers using "15 seconds ADB installed".
i just posted this yesterday,. i guess i could have chosen a better title... do you have any suggestions?? (maybe "full guide: adb, fastboot, twrp recovery, backup, flashing"?????)

@thielek what windows do you have? I can suggest something if you have win7, for win10 you can find a guide in some other threads.

Thanks I will definitely give it a read and try to get this sorted. I'm pumped to get that CM 14.1 ROM when it gets a few more of the bugs sorted.

No, actually you need to disable the signature verification if I recall it right. I can't find the thread for win10 driver installation right now but for sure I have seen it on xda for LeMax2
Here is the tuturial for noobs (I was noob too and I wrote it for people like me):
Here is the quick tutorial for users like me:
1. Enable USB Debugging
2. Connect phone to the computer
3. Unzip this https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862669609 and run LE_X2_fastboot.exe
4. Wait until it say "Press any button to reboot phone" and just press random button
5. Your phone will boot into system
If you want change to China 21s with SuperSU, you just have to:
1. Turn off your phone
2. Press VolumeUp + Power button - it's gonna boot you to TWRP
3. You can now upload the 21s.zip and SuperSU-v2.78...zip files to your phone from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/le-m...a-rom-t3492640
4. On your phone go to Whipe and whipe all data (swipe blue arrow)
5. Go to Install and choose 21s.zip and wait - when it ends it's gonna boot you to the system
6. Turn off your phone and again boot to Recovery (VolumeUp + Power button)
7. Choose Install and choose SuperSU.zip and there you are!
Now you're gonna have China 21s with root and SuperSu!

Wow! That fastboot program was amazingly simple. Thank you! How did I know find this before. The other guides are very long.
So that installed cuoco92's ROM as well as TWRP. Do you suggest using his ROM? That second link you provided in the next paragraph didn't work.
I was looking for a very clean and vanilla android like ROM. I hate EUI and am excited for that CM 14.1 build but it's not ready yet.
Thanks again very much!

The process I am aware of is
1. Unlock bootloader
2. Install twrp (or any custom recovery) in fastboot mod
3. Flash SuperSu zip to get root access.
Can you please explain in your tutorial the first paragraph can do this? I just want these 3 thing to do mentioned above. Thanks.

It is not bootloop..it is hardbricked..same like mine
No solution yet because of xiaomi locked flashing by user via edl mode.
i found solution ;
And tutorial is mine
What should to do in case of infinite reboot on REDMI logo after stock rom flashed?
1) If Bootoader is unlocked, enter twrp; If it is closed, try to unlock it, if it is the same pc and account for first unlock can be unlock.
2) Install the twrp version of stock rom (can find on web)
if boots very good to rescue
3) Re-install stock rom from fastboot with flash_all.bat (dont wipe on installed, let it wipe itself.)
Use MiFlash20191206.zip , this miflashtool saves my life
4) If the device is turned on, should be turned 99% percent, You can use unlocked bl or lock with flash stock rom with flash lock script.
Congratulations you fixed the problem!!!

[GUIDE] Downgrade from MIUI Android 11 Beta Stable to Android 10 Stable using flashable firmware

This might help you after realizing that you want to install custom ROM again after upgrading to android 11 MIUI but you cannot install android 10 or 11 based ROM and stuck with either boot loop or android rescue party.
WARNING: This might wipe every writable partition. Charge your phone at least 20% or more to prevent from destroying these partitions.
Instructions:
1. Download firmware from here
2. Download full ROM (either recovery or fastboot) from here
3. Save the firmware zip file it in either internal storage or sdcard. Reboot to TWRP afterwards
4. Tap install and find the zip file in your storage and install. Wait for a couple of seconds to get done.
To install full ROM
Recovery
1. After installing firmware from recovery mode, don't reboot. If you reboot the system it will fail to boot. Boot to fastboot if you fail this step and flash a recovery image. Proceed with next step.
2. Install full ROM flashable zip from sdcard or internal storage.
3. Format /data. Reboot.
Using fastboot
1. Boot from fastboot mode
2. Extract full ROM fastboot zip file.
3. Open miflash and locate the fastboot folder.
4. Choose flash_all. Click start.
5. The phone reboots itself. Boot to recovery mode and wipe data.
All done. The phone is now downgraded from android 11 back to android 10.
Note: I got 2 anti triggered when attempting to downgrade the phone using recovery and fastboot without installing firmware zip file first. RIP me I guess I voided my warranty anyways so doesnt matter as I already applied some insurance for my device.
TL;DR: Installed Recovery will get erased as I mentioned in WARNING. Please don't skip every step.
Edit: since it made confusion, I split steps for recovery and fastboot mode.
Has anyone tried this procedure?
Im on 12.0.6.0(EU). Bootloader locked (wait 3days) so no TWRP. Want downgrade to 12.0.8.0(EU) and flash Pixelexperience ROM.
It will work?
I'm a bit confusing... Links inserted in first 2 points seem to be the same link. So what I've to download exactly?
I'm on 12.0.7.0 Android 10 but I'm curious to try 12.0.6.0 Android 11 stable beta released some days ago...

Its not the same. First one is cca. 80MB of size while full rom is 2.4GB for recovery and 4.4GB for fastboot.
I did this method yesterday and its working. No problems whatsoever.
The only thing i would add is you need both versions of rom - recovery and fastboot. Recovery when you flash for the first time in recovery and fastboot when you flash with Mi flash.
And my advice is, android 11 miui is really bad. Its not finished, it stutters a lot, u can't use third party launchers with gesture navigation (at least in my case, Nova lanucher), performance is bad.
Not worth any time.

i only tried recovery method and it works fine after days of trying. 12.0.6 android 11 is still buggy and miui needs to fix it a lot. most of apps are not well optimized for this flavor.
Today unlocked bootloader. Flashing 12.0.8.0 (i have 12.0.6.0 A11).
Everything work perfect. No bootloop, bootloader relock and works fine
People are probaly skipping some steps.
1. Download Firmware small size files
2. Download full Firmware, both - fastboot and recovery (put it on SD card, small and recovery)
3. Install Twrp or Orangefox recovery (download it from somewhere)
4. Enter into recovery and install small firmware FIRST, dont reboot, install big firmware (recovery version) SECOND
5. do not reboot
6. format data
7. Now reboot into fastboot
8. Extract fastboot firmware zip into new folder on desktop
9. Start Mi flash, select that folder where u extracted files and tick "clean only" on the bottom of the Mi flash if u want to leave bootloader unlocked and from drop down menu near that pick "flash_all.bat".
Thats how i did it.

Hi, I am thinking about attempting this, did you have any luck, did it work for you, or shouldn't I bother trying?
It worked but you have to make sure you use the right method to enter recovery. Stock ROM keeps reverting the changes. Protip: volume down and power button should do the trick iirc

ofc bootloader needs to be unlocked, which will void your warranty, permanently disable work profiles, and it'll keep *****ing about it every time the device boots

How did you root? And what rom are u using now?
It is necessary to be root to install the gsi, in the redmi note 11s it was not necessary to do it after installing the gsi rom, vmeta is it necessary? Just installing the recovery and then the gsi by fasboot ok, it would be nice if you gave a guide like You were able to install the rom. It seems more complicated to install on Samsung than on Xiaomi. It has never been so complicated for me, Greetings.

I did exactly what you said using corvus 12, but its in bootloop and wont start. Which GSI do you know that works? I dont want to have to wipe and fix my phone everytime just to find out.
For some reason, attempting to erase the system partition results in error:
Erasing 'system' FAILED (remote: 'unknown command')
fastboot: error: Command failed

Can someone provide custom recovery like twrp or orange for for redmi 10 android 12 miui 13

Your sure? because I can't lose my 3 year warranty
Yes, I'm sure don't worry, but if you flash a rom via fastboot, you lose all the data of the phone, do you accept that?

Ok, first you have to unlock the bootloader:
Step 1: Download this file and unzip it. https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=7161016148664849473
Once you have unzipped it, go to the mediatekbootloaderunlock folder and go to the drivers folder, right click on the file "cdc-acm.inf" and then click on install
https://www.technobuzz.net/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Install-MTK-driver.jpg
Once this is done, go back and install usbdk (x64 for 64 bit OS, x86 for 32 bit OS) on your PC).
https://www.technobuzz.net/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Instal-USB-drivers-1024x450.jpg
Once this is done, restart your computer (important)
Turn off your redmi 10
In the mediatekbootloaderunlock folder open the "UnlockBootloader.bat" file
Once the file is open, press the volume + and volume - at the same time and once this is done, connect the cable to your PC.
Wait until the window closes.
Your bootloader is now unlocked.
Now that the bootloader of the phone has been unlocked, we will flash the new phone rom.
Step 2: Download the phone rom from this site: https://miuirom.org/phones/redmi-10
(I advise you the Indonesian region)
Once the rom has been downloaded, the rom file ends in .tgz, unzip the rom with WinRAR or any other unzipping tool.
WinRAR
WinRAR - the data compression, encryption and archiving tool for Windows that opens RAR and ZIP files. Compatible with many other file formats.
www.win-rar.com
Once the rom has been decompressed, download Mi Flash tool on this link:
MiFlash20200314
MediaFire is a simple to use free service that lets you put all your photos, documents, music, and video in a single place so you can access them anywhere and share them everywhere.
www.mediafire.com
Unzip the zip file and open the file miflashtool.exe
Once opened, put your phone in fastboot mode (power + volume -)
Connect the phone with a cable to the PC
Click on refresh, the phone should appear.
Then click on select and select the unzipped rom you made earlier.
At the bottom of mi flash tool, click on clean all and lock, this will delete all data and close the bootloader.
Once this is done, click on flash and wait for it to finish.
If you get an error like: checkpoint is not done fastboot lock or something like that, don't worry, it means it worked.
You now have miui 13, enjoy.
