I have two wired headphones with mic. Neither can adjust volume or use mic to be heard or pause/play anything (Youtube, phone call, Spotify, music player, etc.)
Using AKG headphones and Samsung headphone.
Anybody else? I need specified wired headphones?
I am using AKG headphones from my Note9 and at least in Amazon Music they control the music and volume. And the mic works in the LG HD audio recorder.
Thanks tried both Amazon Music and HD Recorder. Now both headphones are fully functional.

So I'm having some issues with my bluetooth stereo headset. They're the Rocketfish RF-MAB2 headphones (Best Buy in house brand).
The headphones pair and connect with the touchpad no problems.
The problem is that when I try to use TuneIn Radio or iHeartRadio it doesn't recognize that audio is playing so it doesn't feed it to my headphones.
The weird thing...I have a drum kit app called 'Beat Box' and if I open that app while I still have TuneIn or iHeartRadio playing, it actually recognizes audio being played and I can hear it in my headphones.
It's kind of bizarre. Any suggestions?
my bt headphones work fine but I am having problems with the volume. Even when I plug my beats in the volume is much lower than when I use them with my phone. Weird because I thought the tp was optimized to be used with any beats by dre headphones.
i've got a mono BT earphone which works fine for phone calls, but when I play music it's routed via the phone speaker, not the earphone.
is this an x10mp "feature"?
any way to circumvent this, that is, getting music on the mono earphone?
TIA
I'm having a weird issue where media audio won't work on my bluetooth headphones,
phone audio works fine but when I try to play music or videos it just plays loud staticy crackling noises.
I've tried the headphones on my tablet and they work fine there, so the issue must be the z2
Any idea why this would be happening or what I could do?
Headphones: Soundpeats QCY QY7
Phone: D603 running eXistenZ 4.5.0
Thanks
Anyone?

First try blowing into the jack. If it won't help then take a needle and play around in the jack.
I had this situation few times, it's mostly because there's some dirt inside.
Sent from Note 3, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3.

I am facing the same problem on the stock 8.0.5.0. The workaround is to quickly plug and unplug headphones in the jack 5-10 times. It'll work.
I used to use WIRED EARPHONES (SMILE JAMAICA) with my MOTO Z PLAY on 3.5mm jack.
Now i want to switch to wireless earphones for hassle free workout in the gym.
but the problem is Audio Quality of the Bluetooth audio.
1. Wired & WIRELESS earphones sounds same when played through any music player app, besides wired one is a bit louder.
2. but when I apply any EQ Enhancement, Wired earphones sound great & virtualization is amazing (i.e. output quality enahnces like 50 to 100) but Audio enhancements doesn't work pretty much the same with wireless earphones (i.e. output quality enahances only like 50 to 52) i.e. wireless earphones sounds like I'm playing 64kbps mp3 file.
Why it so? In developer option CODEC is SBC as earphones are only supporting SBC.
