You done something WRONG. You have partitioned your SD. In what format they are(partitions)and how big is your SD?
CHEERS!
I am using 4GB Card..
First Partion is for FAT32 say ~3.5 BG
Second Partition is for ext4 ~.5 GB..
I also tried other way around..means First ext4 and then FAT32..

OK, but you spelled little wrong(3.5gb and 5gb=8.5gb). Not matters. Try to make NOT ext4, but ext2. And but them both like PRIMARY PARTITIONS.

.. Dude just reverse the partition order... first fat then ext... worked for me as windows does not recognise ext and may be if you have partitioned ext4 and your current rom does not support it (or mount it) it would say damaged SD.

btw my laptop cannot read if my sd card partition fat32 + ext4. it asking me to format again if wan to open (in my computer). but other laptop can open.

I want to format my SD card from FAT32 to EXT4...
My questions:
1. Will it be readable from Windows?
2. The EXT4 partition can also be used as normal SD, or just for apps?
3. Is EXT4 faster than normal SD with FAT32?

Hi when I transfer 8 gig movies to my sd after a while laptop says device has stop responding is my tablet timing out or sumat?
If the SD card is formatted as FAT32 then only files up to 4GB can be stored on it.
You have to use exFAT or Linux filesystem (ext3 or ext4).
format the SD card to exFAT in windows 7 above
thx guys its worked:good:

Yes, I tried ext4 earlier but it refused to read it and made me reformat...
I have install this CM12.1, but I can't move app to SD card, it says "Not enough storage space", my SD card is empty, I have tried:
Format the SD card to ext2, but CM12 can't read it
Format to Fat32 in CM12
Using SDFix
Is it possible to move app to SD card ?
Try to format your SD card to ext4 it should solve your problem. Mine is ext4 and works fine. Im using Link2SD too it is more clearer

I have tried to format to ext4, CM12 can mount it, but also can't move app to SD, Link2SD's "Link to SD" function need to partition the SD card to 2 partitions, but I don't want to do this.

1st off all. Why would you format your external SD card to F2FS. F2FS is only used for partitions like system/data(aka internal storage) and cache. There's no need to format your SD card to F2FS, all you can do now is format is back to FAT32 or exFAT (since that's what most SD card uses) and you should be able to use your SD card back.
Hit Thanks if this help you

It's quite different but any FAT type filesystem will work.
