Hi. I am considering to buy Xiaomi Mi 10 pro in China. I would have to install the ROM in Spanish (global) to solve the language and play store problem but my doubt is if the GPS/5G problems
I found this info (in spanish sorry, my problem is for Spain)
GPS: https://www.movilzona.es/2017/05/02...l-gps-en-mi-movil-chino-y-posibles-soluciones
5G: https://www.xataka.com/moviles/compr...ber-compatible
anything else apart GPS/5G?
Does anyone know if install global ROM is enough?
Thanks

hello to all guys and good evening, I sincerely hope you can give me an answer to my question. I have a vivo x50 pro Chinese stock version where, however, the Italian language and Google services are already present, the only thing that bothers me are all those settings on the notifications that sometimes go sometimes no ... mystery. now i was wondering since the vivo x51 is practically a vivo x50 pro in global version could you put the global stock rom on my china version? risk something? thank you all

Hey there,
I wanted to buy a Realme GT, but I don't know the differences between all those variants. I'm unsure, if I would be buying a smartphone, which would for example have a lack of some network frequencies I had to use, currently living in Germany.
Could anyone provide me some help? Also, I wanted to root this phone and get some mods, are there any specific variant ones or are they working on all phones?
Would be really nice, if I could get some help, thanks in advance
Realme GT GLOBAL -> have all languages, 5G almost all bands except united states and china Comes with google play
Realme GT EU (or Indian version) it does have lots of languages but for example it don't have portuguese(brazil) language. it does have all bands like realme gt global. It includes some apps or stuff that is related to indian and euro market. Come with google play
Realme GT CN - Chinese variant it comes with google play services installed but no google play store. It comes with a bunch of chinese apps that are kinda useless
Both EU ,CN and Global version will have all 5G bands in germany. (Cn version have less two 4G bands so its recommended to use O2 KPN provider)
All variants can be rooted homeweaver its not recommended as realme didnt released kernel sources yet so there is no twrp (and that make rooting and updating system very HARD without bricking)
Also it is not the best device to root as you will lose in screen fingerprint after rooting.
If you want to look for a phone to root, see oneplus or xiaomi or wait realme community grow with custom roms that can use fingerprint while rooted
Here you can compare different band and combination support:
Global: https://cacombos.com/device/RMX2202_11
China: https://cacombos.com/device/RMX2202
I recommend buy Global version if you will use device outside from China.

You just have to wait, as as android 12 realme ui 3.0 update is rolling partially.
It has allready started, but not everywhere at once.

I just recently got one online for a real decent price thinking that I could load custom ROMs and all but there's nothing out there. Is there any hope for this device or is it better to just get rid of it and get another device which is more likely to be supported in the long run?

I am thinking of buying the Chinese version of this cell phone but I am somewhat hesitant about the issue of google services and updates, you say that it comes with google services installed but without the play store, so google apps and their services will work without problems if I only install the playstore?
I live in Brazil and bought a Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G due to it's good price on Aliexpress, on the Mi Official Store. I will receive a open box, because they will reflash the ROM from Poco X3 GT Global Version to it.
I'm afraid about my security in buying a phone that it is previously handled by them. What can I do about it? Is that a legit concern? What is the difference between a reflashed rom and a global version?

This phone only exists in Chinese version and it has flashed the global version of the poco so that you have for example a multi-language version because the original version is only in Chinese or English and without play store.
With the unlocked bootloader you can install custom roms.
There are two security, the bootloader and the Xiaomi account, you only have one left.

Do you think I will have access to Google Services with the Poco Global ROM?

yeap but some services(google pay) and apps will be unavailable due to the unlocked bootloader resulting in an uncertified play store.
Good morning
I bought a Mi Pad 5 Pro Wifi version (without 5g) by ebay and it arrived with the bootloader unlocked and a global rom with my language (Spanish). I know it is not an official rom from Xiaomi. The problem is that it does not support OTA updates.
I would like to find some help about where I can find roms like the global one I have and instructions to flash it, or instructions to flash the CN version if needed, or Lineage OS .
Thank you very much for your help.
@radriarevlo Try this ROM. My device is Mi Pad 5 Pro 5G. I've flashed GSI ROMs but got many problems with hardware. So it's best for now to stick with Stock ROM which is CN version. With CN stock ROMs, I can still read and write in my local language by using Gboard. But the UI can be only Enlish or Chinese. No worry about Google Play Store. You can install it easily with GetApps that comes with the stock ROMs.

Currently 2 versions: CN and IN.
There are stock roms for the CN version but no Indian roms (maybe too soon).
Exactly the same phone except the bands depending on the region.
It seems to me that Xiaomi does not plan to sell it in markets other than China and India.
In this case, there will never be a global version.
It is on sale in Indian version on Amazon.in, not sure that he can send it elsewhere than in India.
Maybe Xioami Eu rom will provide roms for this phone.
The pro version will exist in a global version but unfortunately with a Mediatek soc.
but india version have other languages? or ony en /cn / india ? how do You known that pro will be elswhere? and when ?

The redmi note 12 is the continuation of the 11 and the 11 exists in a global version. When? for the 13 (CN presentation December 1 and the global version presentation February 27).
Never installed IN rom but the Indonesian has multi language.
"It seems to me that Xiaomi does not plan to sell it in markets other than China and India." added for now.
Maybe wait for a Global version.
Redmi Note 12 will be launched Brazil as global accord xiaomi did certificates
