Just checking to see if anyone has had a sniff of an update for the UK version (BLA-L09 8.0.0.115 C782) of the mate 10 pro. Bought mine unlocked from Carphone Warehouse, and see a few threads for the dual sim variant, but not one jot about any updates to the UK release (and I haven't had a single OTA update yet)... So, shout out if you have an update, or know if one is imminent...
No update yet, but I did contact Huawei UK and they state they are currently rolling out a 8.0.0.124 update for my IMEI. Being done in batches at the moment.

Is there any way to update to the latest update without using FH method? OR just wait for the update to be available?
Currently residing in South Africa, have tried connecting to different countries via VPN and then tried searching for an update but have been unlucky!

You are lucky us optus customers are still on 9.0.0.122 and nothing in sight because it takes optus 6 months to test it....slow company.

I got M20 Pro from Singapore, When I landed in India for my holidays I got the latest .171 update.
You aren't missing much,
post-update-craze-phase will last for a week. I am on 171 and, may be ,there are couple of improvements in few departments but you will hardly notice the difference.
but don't make the mistake of letting FunkyHuawei monetize out of your lack of patience. Version 171 has enabled option to unlock OEM. Also I would not risk rooting a Chinese phone.

I'm just waiting for an update to see if it fixed the messaging notification and Google maps, also I'm having an issue with a few apps occasionally not loading like opinion rewards, apkmirror, auspost, music I have to clear cache, optimise battery, use phone manager to optimise memory and sometimes even reboot to get the apps to load correctly.

Yes its worst update cycle in India.
When Samsung Note 9 got 1st January 2019 security update, mate 20 pro in India is still with october update.
We need to complain together with huawei.
The worst part is my brothers Honor View 10 of a year and half back device got November security update when 3 to 4 times higher price flagship is with October security update.
Flagship value in India for huawei is NIL it seems

Beta registration works for me, but I'm just not getting the update as I watch the number of empty spots get fewer and fewer. I'm rather worried I'm not getting in as I am writing a review/guide on the camera and I'm supposed to finish next week. It's pretty pointless if I'm writing about EMUI 9 when they have changed a lot for EMUI 10...
How long did you have to wait to get the download? Anyone else waiting? I registered yesterday, maybe 21 hours ago.

Have u joimed the project? In my country its allready full and im in since yesterday morning, i have sent email to local consumer huawei center about when can we expect actual update but so far no response of them. I have tried to find out how much time need to pass from joined to update but couldnt do it anywhere. I dont think anyone can answer you question right now.

Yes, I have, when there were like 200 participants in, out of 900. Now where are at 523, and I am getting quite anxious. I'll probably have to contact Huawei and see if there's a way to get in Why even limit to 900 users in the first place (or whatever the limit is in your country). I mean, if the color options are coming out in 2 weeks time, they are probably quite confident the beta is working fine? And if people are willing to test drive, why not have more do it?
I can understand that they are rolling it out slowly, because if there's a deal breaker they can stop it before too many users are affected. But they could at least let us know and say "nope, full already". For all I know, I could be in position 2000 and won't get the update before everyone else...

My guess is that BG will start the program in the same time, after all we're country neighbours . I will keep you posted if the project will appear in my Huawei BETA app.

They are collecting tester from 6th to 20th september. For My model IT-P30Pro-Vogue there are 900 places.
The beta firmware will be released on 20th or 23rd of september.

This is the response i got from Huawei today, 09.09.2019, when asking them info about EMUI 10 BETA project in Romania. It seems that only a few countries are eligible for testing .

I'm a bit confused. I just received mine yesterday (after 2 weeks eBay shipping debacle) and I went to look for my pie update, but there isn't one available. So I came here and read through a few posts and it seems that some people have upgraded and others haven't. I the SHT-W09 version. I've read where some have recommended using hisuite, but when I tried to, it said I needed "Huawei Mobile Services", which won't install via the link that it provides. Can someone point me in the right redirection? I'm just trying to get this think upgraded to Android Pie.
If you have a US version, you do not have 9.

yeah the manufacturer isn't too keen on releasing pie for US base devices and has nothing to do with the China trade war they've never issued us devices full OS updates from what I am told.

You are very wrong. I've owned various Huawei devices for years. Before the Mate 10 Pro debacle when Trump bullied AT&T and Best Buy into not carrying the M10P Huawei provided full OS updates to it's US customers the same as outside the US for its products.
But after the M10P Huawei abandoned the US market. The US model M10P received no feature or OS updates from Huawei while the international models were updated.
Prior to the M10P we got the same updates as everybody else so you can definitely thank Trump for the fact that the US model isn't receiving OS updates.
Just updated ot 9.1.0.328(C432E3R1P2) - September updates for the 8.4" UK version.
If you have the north american version. you do not get android 9.
If you have any other version you have or will get android 9.
Anyway to hack a Android 9 onto NA versions?
I have CMR-AL19 from ebay.... (Media Pad M5 Pro) - Still Android 8.0.0 - > 4 times called support, 3 times they told me it isn't available for my model and fourth time they told me they manually push an update and if it still isn't available to update I have to bring it to a store.... no store in my near....I'm a bit annoyed.
