I got the same problem...any solution for it.please?
Same problem with my Stratos 2...
No solution ?
you probably got some water in it, try to dry it out before charging.
Got it fixed from service center. They didn't charge anything and gave new strap

Hello, I have the following problem - last night my battery died completely, then I plugged it ot a wallcharger, completely working, and while the phone was off it charged it to 100%. Then I started it but it got just to the "M" and died again, and that was all. Then I tried a different charger, and nothing really happened. When it was charging it was ok, but when I unplugged it it was turning off immediately. Then I went into recovery mode, made a Reset and all of a sudden, the phone was ok, with battery full and now working. So my question is - what is the problem here ? I noticed that the charger (not the OEM. Just purchased this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/200815536178?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649) is a little loose in the charging. So what might the problem be ? Thank you.
My watch updated to 5.1.1 last night. Everything seems fine except when I place it on the charger it doesnt start charging. If I restart the watch on the charger it starts charging ok (confirming the base and cable are ok) until the next time I use the watch and I put it back on the charger and it wont charge until I restart it again. In other words I need to restart every time I put it on the charger.
Has anyone else experienced this?

If you have problems after OTA 5.1.1, do a factory reset on watch once!
This solves most issues after update!
Thankyou for the suggestion Bitstra.
I bit the bullet overnight and did a full reset (now called a factory reset) on the watch. Sadly the watch is still the same. I put the watch on the charging dock and it wont start charging until I restart the watch..but restarting seems to work every time.
I can live with the problem but I cant help feeling I should have bought the Sony SW3...and then I wouldnt have also been let down by LGs crappy decision not to build the wifi hardware into most of their models.
I see I am not the only one with this problem.....

Can confirm issue...woke up this morning to a battery level of 44% after putting it on the charger before bed (don't recall what it was at last night) had to restart to get it to charge... Will reset today as I was planning to anyway..
Hi:
I have 2 chargers because I use one for travel. After updating to 5.1.1, one works and the other does not. I swapped the components and found it was the cable. I hope that this helps.

Nope. Something is wrong with your watch configuration. Have you tried another plug for your charger? It shouldn't do that and I don't have problems and I am on 5.1.1.

Considering the fact that there are many people experiencing the same issue, it is most certainly NOT his watch configuration..There definitely is something wrong with the update on our watches.
For me, the problem is intermittent so it maybe only a matter of time before you or others see it creep up. Luckily, one can tell right away whether a charging session will work or whether a reboot is required. As bugs go, this is only a minor inconvenience..albeit one that LG needs to address..
Same here, watch was charging wen I went to sleep but charging stopped at around 60%

Well now mine isn't charging unless I reboot it on the cradle. Will investigate more later.
I had the same issue with cable from another device.
With genuine cable charging starts well.
I also had something similar. The watch doesn't always start to charge, but reinserting it into the cradle seems to fix it every time. This began to happen a few days before the 5.1 update (so no direct link to 5.1. but maybe something is wrong in Play services. I also sometimes had an issue with a battery drain the few days before the update).
There is a slight corrosion (discoloring) starting on the second charging pin
Both my brother and I noticed the same problem after receiving the 5.1.1 update on our G Watches. For me, taking it in and out of the cradle does not fix it. If the battery is low it will not charge until it is rebooted. In the morning when it has a full charge I can take it on and off and it will go into charge mode reliably, but at the end of the day it will not.
Happens here too. I have to shut down the watch and then put it at the cradle.
Funny, had the same issue. Tried switcing cables, connecting it straight into PC and reseating the watch on the charging pad. Nothing helped. It started to charge the moment baterry died and it shut down. Also running 5.1.1. Thought it was some charging contacts on the watch issue but seems to be software indeed. Still have some battery left but putitng it on the charing pad does nothing at the moment. Nice bug!
Another G watch user here with the same charging problem after updating to 5.1.1... I guess that I am not the only one.
Same problems here with 5.1.1
Any solution to that? I wiped the watch recently and the bugs still stays. It's a bit annoying to force restart the watch everytime i need to charge it.
For me charging works after putting Watch a few Times on and off the docking

Your problem seems to be different then. I tried to plug it few times, cleaing the connectors, using charger instead of computer that powers the charging station. Nothing helps. It starts charging the moment i reboot the watch and only then.
Hey guys i got a really big and complicated problem. I have gt-i9100G, and couple of months ago, my charging port broke, so i ordered a new one. Since it laste over a month to get shipped to my country i find a soultion to charge my phone by cutting off my charger and put red and black wire between my batter and phone pins. It lasted for long and charged it. Now when my new charging port arrived i changed it, and now my phone wont charge or turn on. My phone wont turn on except i put that wires and make contact. But still when and when i inesert usb to charge it it shows me its charging, but its not charging, just fake charging. Also my "battery option" from settings dissapeard. So is it software problem, or i need to get a new battery, or i ****ed up my phone with that wire charging. If anyone can help me i would appreciate it..
Sorry for my bad english and thanks in advance
Update
When i charge and turn on phone by putting red and black wires between phone and battery, and turn it off, than off, this is what i get(Attention: It's not my phone on the picture, i found it on internet, but i get the same problem)

Its not battery problem, and i dont know what to do
anyone?
Nobody, really?
My redmi note 5 (ai version) appears to have a fault when charging which I am trying to figure out the issue behind. The phone is just over 12 months old. The charging indicator in the status bar goes between no charging, normal charging and fast charging mode whilst it is connect to the charger. The battery charge also appears to dissipate worse when the charger is connected. I have tried changing charger as well as cable but the same issue occurs. I have added a video of the issue whilst measuring the current to illustrate the issue I am having a little clearer.
Video of issue
The phone was initially factory reset but the issue persisted. I then replaced the old PCB charging board with a new one from eBay but still the same issue. The only thing that I can think the issue is related to now is the battery. Has anyone had any similar issues which could shed some light on this.
Yes im having same issue, tried all roms and everything. But charging keeps fluctuating because of that phone take 5-6hrs to get full charge.
Thanks for the reply.
Have you had any luck resolving the problem. I assume not. Have you tried getting in contact with Xiaomi at all ?
Hello People,
I have started facing this weird problem with my Mi A3 yesterday that I only bought in June.
The problem is the phone does not charge. When connected the charger, it shows "Charging Slowly" and the battery percentage stays as it is. It has been plugged in for 8 hours now with no change in the battery percentage.
Ampere shows a charging current of 70mA while the same charger & cable on my wife's OnePlus shows 1800mA current. So it's not the charger! :crying:
I have tried a hard reset, I have tried 4 different charger & USB combinations, NOTHING WORKED.
Any help around this will be greatly appreciated!
I will be set back with 15K if I loose this phone
What about the charger in the box? Doesn't that work?
Sounds like a hardware problem to me. Try going to the customer care
Thank you for a quick response!
None of the chargers are working. I've tried stock, OnePlus Dash, Moto Turbo, Samsung, everything.
I guess, service center is the only thing that can help.
Update - Even when it is plugged in, it keeps discharging.:crying:
Sadly, service center is closed, I'm from Pune and the city is in a lockdown till tomorrow.
Update - After a lot of struggle to not to reset my phone and an extensive research, I have wiped my phone clean and viola!
The charging works, it still charges slowly, but that's not as slow it was earlier.
I remember it seeing on screen 8 days untill full charge!
Now it's 6 hours to full charge, even with a turbo charger, 15W.
I will keep digging and posting the updates here.
Thanks
Charging too slow... battery draining out fast
I am facing same issue with my mi A3 since yesterday. It is taking 8 hours for my phone to get fully charged also battery is draining out too fast. Seems like this issue arrived with July security update. Even I tried hard reset and several other chargers but issue still persists. Hope that Mi sends out bug fix soon.
Resolved!
I had to visit the service center within a month of purchase due to the above mentioned issues.
Apparently some electronic failure caused the connector to fail and stopped the phone getting charged up.
My device is under warranty and thanks to that, got the faulty parts replaced for free and within 2 hours.
Which hardware parts did they get to replace??, Also facing the same issue

They changed the charging port, as my device was in warranty, they did not charge anything!!
