Installed the rom. Runs very smooth and fast :good: FP works perfectly no issues so far :good: only thing what I recognize is that the WiFi signal strength on 5ghz is not so good as on oos, but I think that's on all custom roms. So it's not a big deal :good: Test this rom until I get my new one next week :good:

Hi, i`m very exited for this rom.I have noticed that some sensors don`t work, like proximity ,gyroscope(rotation) and auto brightness sensor. Is there anything that have i to do in settings for making them work? I`ve tried to install the rom two times with the guide in description.

Yes because there is something wrong,
You have to first install oxygen os on both slots and then install rom by the same process mentioned in the thread...
Then sensor s might work well
And remember it
It take a few minutes for first boot..
Keep patience

For anyone struggling with auto brightness, YAAB from the play store works pretty good as a temporary solution.

Great stuff! The main reason I stopped using custom roms is because (I know I may be overreacting) the screen for a brief second goes black when I try to unlock the phone using fingerprint. I am not sure if this rom does it too. Please let me know if it does because if not, I will get this STRAIGHT!

Download the Catlog app from the Play Store.

Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into Catlog and stop the log recording.

No smart clock.
Notch handling is not so good. Needs some tweaks as some icons get under the notch.
Needs Pre Pie 4G icon for better space management.
OMS support as in some other ROMs to make substratum work without root.

Really nice and smooth ROM. everything working well for me, only little problems with the strength of WIFI and Mobile network. The signal is really weak. Sometimes my SIM card is also gone and I have to restart the phone.
I found this problem also happening with other Android 10 ROMs.

Sorry my question but disappearing SIM card is really disturbing and I'm not able to find the problem here.
Wi-Fi strength I could improve with a mask module, that helped a lot after installation.
Loss of SIM card is really random. Some days are ok and suddenly or overnight it's gone again.
Restarting phone sometimes helps, sometimes not.
I already tried to reflash ROM clean and dirty to see if it's problem with my data or apps but nothing changed.
Any help appreciated in this...

Nice and Smooth ROM.. Congrats and thank you for the hard work.
There are a few things...
1. Notification LED not working (except while charging)..also the setting related to changing notification colours is missing.
it's very important.
2. Crashes and screen get locked on its own when i use the seek bar of music player (or YouTube Vanced) in notification Panel.
3. it takes time to unlock the screen sometimes after restarting system UI or Phone, i have to apply the pattern 5, 6 times to do so.
4. Some apps like Zomato, crash every time. I don't think its an app or compatibility issue.

To all users of this wonderful rom
I've tried to install v5.7 (like an OTA) using this method:
1 - Make a full backup with Twrp (latest)
2 - On Twrp tap on Wipe -> Advanced Wipe and select Dalvik, System, Data, Cache and then Swipe to Wipe
3 - Come back to Twrp Home tap on Install and install latest version of rom
the gapps (the same of previous installation)
Magisk (if you want root)
4 - Come back to Twrp Home again and tap on Restore, select your backup and unselect System and Boot
(only Data must be selected) and then Swipe to restore
5 - Reboot and enjoy the newer version :victory:
You don't need to reinstall and configure the apps again

i really hope this rom doesn't have the overheating and random crashing issues. all the AOSP roms for dreamlte/greatlte i have tried gave me this random hiccup and huge battery drain. I suspect it is related to the kernel?
anyways, this rom is my last hope.

hmmm having flashed this rom for 20 mins. so far no overheating issue, that's a plus, i am going to give it a bit more time. but i just cannot stand the aesthetic taste of the designer of this rom... i need to re-phrase my word, it looks like a ****. cannot believe that is the reason i cannot use this rom

It is just brilliant and I didn't know if I will like that old vibe but I love the background in the settings. If it wasn't having reboot issues with my bank app (Sberbank). I would keep it forever as a daily driver.

I have been rooting and flashing custom roms for years and years now. But putting a modded banking app is where I put the line. It will make me paranoid.

What's ColtOS
ColtOS Project is presented by a team of learners and it is crafted from AOSP Source with all the necessary customizations, without compromising the stability and security of the device.
We have cherry-picked the features from many other roms/projects and we are very thankful to all of them!! We just crossed the Beta Phase for Oreo and are happy to announce the release of Colt-OS Andy10 based on Android 10.0
Although there's no bugs experienced by us or testers, if you find any, please let us know with a logcat.

I wanted to take the tjme to thank the developer of this sweet bomb rom:good: so far all is good as already someone said vibration controller isn't working can't wait for some some very sweet updates of this rom battery life is amazing everything is good so far for me I have been using this rom a little while and the more use it the more I love the rom
Now I am just needing to figure out how will I be able to backup with TWRP I am on 3.3.1.0 I believe that's what version it is anyone know if this is a perfect version to do a nandroid back up on? Or do I need to upgrade to TWRP version 3.3.4???

Have you migrated to CFW bootloader first before flashing this ROM? As you had LR TWRP before, I assume you were in STOCK bootloader while flashing this ROM. Please read the Megathread for more...

Great devs!.. One of the best roms ever... So many personalization options, it took me about an hour to adjust them all?. Every category in settings has a separate animation,, qs customizations are too awesome to not mention. And it's the first rom I tried that changes system font without needing to restart?. Lots and lots more...??
Oo and can we request for features to be added in future builds!!? I can't wait to see this rom getting even cooler!

Ok so I had twrp that I used to flash this rom I was trying to boot into twrp to flash Gapps and twrp would just go into a bootloop I can't do anything else except fastboot mode or twrp though it bootloops after less than a minute trying to do anything in it I am not hard bricked but I am stuck what can I do to reflash the rom or another twrp image?
I tried to reflash twrp through cmd command and that didn't work I also tried to install another twrp image that also didn't work the twrp image I installed before flashing this rom is by Team L.R for the Note 8 Pro

I had similar problem, the safest way for me was to before I make things worse and I have access to fastboot mode ,flash MIUI stock rom, bring back phone to life, then do everything agian..downgrading, migration and then custom ROM flashing..

Didn't try VoLTE.. But everything works great as a daily driver.. for me at least,, Did a clean flash,, So,, the things not working are,, vibration controller in xiaomi parts, and some (Not mandatory / not problematic if missing) stuff, a negligible bug where a section of settings doesn't adjust with the bottom rounded corners(negligible),, the expanded QS cannot be scrolled in landscape mode... bla bla... don't remember more cuz it didn't bother me.
the normal stuff works pretty great in fact. Battery life is just as good,, could extend even more with some tweaks in settings.. I charge once and can use for nearly 2 whole days in more than average use...

This is my battery usage for 3 hours,, 2 hr 44 min sot..
P.S. I was watching anime for 2:30 on wifi in chrome,, both sims set to 2g brightness lowest,, then flashed cfw 2.0 afterwards and posted on xda... No Misinformation ?. correct me if i forgot to tell sth

Thanks for bringing a new ROM to our favourite phone. Does the dialer come with a call recorder built-in? Is the phone recognised as a Pixel phone so that uploads to Google photos don't count? Thanks.

I don't think if this is a bug but the "Auto" or the "Adaptive" brightness is suddenly goes dark then super bright. I think theres a problem with the sensor driver or else?

This looks promising, i think it s the first CAF rom we have on Surya ?
From my little understanding this should means better optimisations than oss roms. (?)

Invert navigation button layout is missing and even though I flashed the most recent update, OTA keeps showing me there is an update available. Lastly, the splash screen gets stuck as well. Phone boots normally but it's aesthetically displeasing. Not a big deal.
I understand this is a nightly so I'll patiently wait for updates, but for now I'm sticking to AOSP until they come as lots of work needs to be done.

Does this rom still receive support? Would be nice to have a more "permanent" rom installed with ota
