I'm also searching for A twrp image for my vivo s1. Unfortunately I couldn't find a proper one. I dont want to brick my phone. That is why I'm posting in this thread.

i unloacked bootloader of vivo s1 by mtk client but after flash patched boot.img magisk SU didn't work. device need to be rooted manually by patch system.img

First need unlock the bootloader, in the official page of Huawei list the tutorial, next install the kingroot app.
The CWM for L01 only brick my phone when try change in the L03

So u both tried all the available methods? With and without PC? I doubt that...anyways If u have tried then then I can't help u out with that as everything possible is in my thread ..u will have to wait until u get a suitable method to root ur device

For rooting you can use Kingroot Latest 5.0 it works ! i used it on my oppo a37f and there is no solution for a twrp for oppo a37f yet because it doesn't have fastboot

but can someone make a custom recovery for oppo a37 ? no one is doing it ... i tried once but it didn't boot ... and our phone doesn't have fastboot binarys so we can't unlock its bootloader ...... we are stuck

I am also trying to make a custom recovery for my oppo f1s.. So if i get succed then same procedure can be used to make recovery for a37..

Yeah both have ColorOS 3.0(so no fastboot binarys).... PLEASE inform me as soon as you succeed at making your recovery ....
I tried to port from Xiaomi Redimi 2 which is very similar to Oppo a37f but in the end that twrp didn't boot up.....
The first thing is to unlock bootloader, which you can try to make files like in this article HERE
(referring to Magictricks by uberlaggydarwin)
Then we'll have to install custom recovery and then make a custom rom to get full fastboot option and completely unlocked..!!!

How did you root it in the first place??... The method described here isn't working for me, no root tool is able to do so, how did u do it???...

I tried... Phone got into red state... I had to flash the stock rom again... Any useful link...
It seems you have not flashed Correct boot image file or not have ticked against OEM unlock under developer option.
Plz check latest boot image file u r flashing
Currently u file that have been on forum is for Version IN360.
Check Your Version.

there are plenty guides out there, just do a simple google search with nice keywords, but make sure you have your bootloader unlocked initially

Ok, you CAN root your device, but you cannot install custom rom. Because VIVO is just so stubborn and don't allow bl unlocking.
I don't really recommend this, but you can try

Kingroot or framaroot both won't work please help me root my phone sir. Kingroot gets up-to 62% then fails any solution???

no solution. kingroot tries to get as many permission as possible and forces itself on the system to get root. If you're running an android ver that is patched already, nope you cant

The only way for rooting this device is downgrading the firm.

After downloading this Rom go to the files and then to the folder where file is downloaded and simply click on that. Now you will see a pop-up saying for update now as you can see in screenshot. Do backup your files for safety but this update is not going to delete anything. Now your device must be downgraded. Now you can simply root you device using kingroot the link for kingroot is given below.

There is no way to unlock bootlaoder as our phone do not have binary of fastboot. So we can only use root for basic apps.
