Rule #1 about Fight Club. Don't talk about...
(One reason is XDA mods don't like talk about other forums in XDA. There are others.)
But you have to click "Join", be accepted and then usually acknowledge you've read the rules -- before you are un-muted and can post. It says so clearly in the main telegram group. (See screenshot in next post.)
Wait, are You are talking about the main telegram group which is open to everyone? Or you talking about the AIX group in particular?

why do we need yet another forum ( telegram or whatever comes out next) , isn't it better to have it here on XDA, so that all can benefit ?

because xda is not perfect and has some limitations.
Some people prefer another forum.

I think he just didn't acknowledge he read the rules, so he could un-mute himself.

I like XDA because I can write out answers, create hyperlinks, bold content that REALLY needs your attention. It's better for instructions. But some people prefer a "chat" type app. I still point Telegram people here all the time. Two today. Whereas if they had come here FIRST, I think they would have found their answers.
That's something else I don't understand, people who just pop into a XDA or even Telegram and they don't even bother looking around...
For instance IF there was a huge sticky thread titled ROOT YOUR V30! (top of Guides section) -- would you go there and take a look, or would you be lazy, start a new thread and ask if it's possible to bootloader unlock and root your V30?
Or IF they are following the WTF instructions and they run into a problem (well first, they probably didn't even read "Section 7 Troubleshooting Tips") but why is their first instinct to start a NEW thread asking for help?
1) they should read ALL the instructions, including Section 7 - Trouble Shooting Tips.
2) maybe SEARCH the WTF thread to see if any of the HUNDREDS of people prior to them had the same issue
3) ask question IN the WTF thread -- because hey, that's what you are asking about!
As for a "need" for another forum, no. But for one reason or another people seem to want a chat type app experience even though that's not always best to convey detailed information.
You also sometimes have six or seven people talking about different things at the same time.

I got banne from that RUBBISH group on Telegram.
IMHO....XDA is the one and only place you should go for everyrhing.
Telegram AIX can go take a run and jump.
