I want to install vmware tools in Android 9 virtual machine.
Following is the screenshot.As per this image is gives message
"Perl script based Vmware tools installation for FreeBSD has been discontinued.FreeBSD systems are supported only through the open-vm-tools package directly available from FreeBSD package repositories"

as far as I know There are no Guest Tools for Android

Hi all, I had to reinstall the android sdk during the upgrade to windows 8 but now I can't download the platform-tools.
All what I can see when I open the sdk manager is this (I'm connected to network but there aren't packages to download):

When i Choose Debug mode and Video LVDS i get this
When i Choose Nomodeset, it works.
I don't remember which i choose, but i got also this at start.
and this in every start option.
I have also tried with and without Graphic acceleration on vmware for that machine.

Been having this issue as well. not sure what is causing it. I can get it to run if i uninstall it and reinstall or if I use a modified wsa but eventually It stops working. Maybe the latest windows update broke something?
Yes it's a problem of Windows OS, not of WSA - the emulator. I'm running Win11 v 10.0.22621.819 and had never such an issue.
