Samsung sm-a107f cannot turn on mobile data for some SIM card.phone say SIM Restrictions applied.only mobitel SIMs can be used for mobile data.
how to remove this type lock.
Check with your network provider. This is sim lock, which is locked by your network provider.

how come when i'm using the sim card of another country, the t-mobile is still the one that is shown my phone's network status? and in the notification bar its showing 2 network which is the t-mobile network and globe network. when i select search networks in the wireless settings it's only showing t-mobile and at&t.
my phone has been unlocked, and i can recieve text messages from the philippines in my globe sim card. but i if i make some calls it's saying that the phone is not allowed to make outgoing calls while using that sim card.
any ideas?

I think that is normal when you are roaming. My nokia is alternating between vodafone IE and whoever I'm roaming on. Even the Truphone sim does it.
oh thanks. this is my first roaming sim that's why I don't have any idea about it.

Hello all,
I have been unable to find a clear answer to this question--I hope you will bear with me:
I have a Galaxy Note 2 from Verizon running Android 4.3. Before leaving for a trip to India this week I confirmed with Verizon customer service that the phone was unlocked. In Delhi I purchased a local sim card (from Airtel) and inserted it. Voice and text work perfectly but the data plan does not. The sim works when inserted into other phones but not in this one. The Airtel techs cannot figure it out. I have access to the APN settings under the Mobile Networks menu and have edited the Name, APN, Server, APN type etc. as indicated by Airtel but no dice. When I go to "Select" it finds Airtel after some spinning and when I select Airtel from "Network Operators" I get a "registered on network" message but still can't get data.
Is it the case that Verizon locks the data on this phone? Is there any way for me to unlock this from India? I don't really know anything about rooting phones.
Any help appreciated!
I also use the same handset in India and use other operator sim...no trouble so far in data

Just got myself a V10 T-Mobile and I cannot get it to connect to EE mobile data. I have WiFi working but when I switch off WiFi the phone does not connect to EE. In settings/about/network it is showing:
Network EE
Mobile Network type: 4G
Service state: In service
Mobile Network state: Not connected..
I have already unlocked it for other Networks but it still will not connect to mobile data.
The phone makes calls ok.

Resolved by self. Added APN to Mobile Network and all ok.
I have an S22+ and I have 2 sim cards (esim from Freedom Canada) and a physical sim with Mint mobile.
Also I have wifi calling enabled on both cards.
Is there a way to make data available from the physical sim to the esim as data so Freedom Mobile can registered as wifi calling
using Data from Mint. Like that I can completely disable roaming from my Freedom account
I have not seen any settings for something like that in the sim manager and I was wondering if there any any adb command

My unit - samsung note 20 cannot use mobile data on another network.
For instance, I am here in Philippines there are two major network provider - Smart & globe telecom.
Now, my phone was provided by Smart Telecom and I can use mobile data with their sim card. but when I switch to Globe telecom,
my globe sim card was greyed out on the mobile data selection. even my phone was already factory unlock.
Is there a way to access and modify this kind of network locking? If so, How?
