There is a problem with the fingerprint scanner.
After a rollback from custom firmware to stock 9, the fingerprint worked, but the proximity sensor and auto-rotate did not work. After reading the forums, I found out that in order to restore the sensors, it is necessary to flash persist.img through twrp in the terminal. and reinstall the firmware via fastboot. After all the above operations, the sensors have earned, but the fingerprint scanner does not work. When adding a fingerprint, scanning does not work, only the animation blinks, and nothing else happens. Please help if anyone knows a solution to this problem.
Yes bro I have the same problem for 1 week.
İ downgraded then update sensors are back, fingerprint not.
Hopefully I will get a solution soon, otherwise I will send it to Warranty

Flashing persist.img is the dumbest thing you could do on a A/B device... Just Google it and you'll find out that it contains important files that are not recoverable without having your motherboard replaced or re-flashed by a service center employee.
Or simply keep a backup of persist partition before doing anything that might modify or break it, like flashing custom ROMs.

Then why for some everything works as before after flashing persist? And for others, the imprint stops working. There must be some way to restore it to work.

Did you mount the persist folder in TWRP? It isn't mounted by default as far as I remember.

Indeed, it have black screen for first maybe 7-10 seconds.
Rom don't have anything with recovery.

The recovery from link I was provided is for a51_dtul (i think it dual sim) and it's only working for me, but I don't know why because I have a51_ul, and any recovery for a51_ul is working for me. Btw. great job with this recovery, I hope we can get this thing to work

Don't know because I can start any dtul,ul,tuhl (32bit) recovery without problem...plus, this one work without problem on my phone. Strange but we will figured out what is wrong and why don't want to show graphics.

Go to additional settings and check to change region to India. It should be available below languages and input section.
Try it as it is available in my phone having 9.6.25 fw.

Custom ROM (especilly Xiaomi-EU) removes cust partition data which is required for changing region on Stock MIUI and it doesn't come in twrp flashable zips so if you want to change regian after going back to stock from custom roms you need to flash it via fastboot method.
you can search for flashing only cust or other tricks like editing build.prop for region change on google/xda (i never used them so i don't know much about it)

Great.happy that it helped you. I was using this for all the global betas and stable. This will not work only on EU MIUI roms as they doesn't have region option enabled.

I have installed this recovery via fastboot following the instructions of the thread that is now blocked. My problem is that all the folders with very strange names appear and I cannot access them. Previously I was wondering if I wanted to decrypt and put my pin and it worked. Now he doesn't ask me anything and I don't get that option. Someone would be so kind to help me .... Thanks in advance.

You need to format data with lrtwrp to decrypt if you want proper names
to make it permanent, how do you do it or can't twrp?

What did you do between "previously" an "now"?
That could lead us to understand what to do...
Like you explain you are forced to format data and loose your data as well.
You can escape from this in case of very important unsaved one by flashing the last eu rom via OTG or external SDcard.

This is stock rom?
Root via TWRP option might not work because of boot protection.
Best is to move to EU 11.08 rom. You be able to root via twrp and install YT vanced.

Surprise that Youtube Vance via Magisk download is no longer I can find them during from with-in Magisk Manager ---> Module --> download.
Glad I have a zip copy from few of my old phone I can copy to my new device Redmi Note 9 Pro and it is now installed & seems working properly.
Just to report this as strange from my device Magisk Manager canot download Vance Module .

Whats the advantage of installing YT vance through magisk, i install it through normal way (apk) and it seems works fine.
