I am in need for some help and was recommended to post on this forum
I have a Samsung galaxy ace with clockworks mod v 4.0.0.9
I am running ginger bread 2.3
I have read lost of several forum topics and have tried to recover the mmssms.db file but I cannot find the right dev/block to do this
I can see the existing mmssms.db file using xplorer on my android phone
I am a noob to all this android development but have learnt quick
I unfortunately do not have a back up of my text messages but I am sure with the help from people on this forum I will able to recover this file
Before i lost all my text messages I went into recovery mode and clicked on the fix permissions and then restarted my phone
Then I realised that all my text messages vanished
I read through the log file that it left on my sd card but did not give any clues of what happened
I will appreciated the help of this forum

Hi! I would like to ask for help, if possible, about the fact that I accidentally deleted the file "build.prop" in the "system" folder and obviously the phone does not start except in recovery mod (stock)... How can I fix it? Thanks in advance to all!
