[Q] Problem with autorotate

Hi guys,
I have a problem with my Neo V : the autorotate doesn't work anymore when i rotate the phone. I updated my Neo V to official ics and i also tried KA20, shardul's rom, PoolishBlood, the autorotate worked but i don't know why and when, i noticed that it stopped working...
I tried to restore to official (4.1.B.0.431, 4.0.2.A.0.62, 4.0.2.A.0.42) and i still have the problem. But in GB, the screen gets stucked in landscape mode with autorotate enabled.
I checked if the accelerometer worked with Buble Level, PapiJump, and some games (Asphalt 6, Temple Run), i could play without problems. But when i launch the camera app, it gets stucked in landscape mode, i can't change to portrait mode, and the same when i quite the app, it's stucked to landscape mode, i have to disable the autorotate.
Now i have to use Orientation Control to change the orientation mode manually and sometimes it doesn't work very well when i look the pictures.
Is there a solution to fix my problem ?

Orientation not working

I think I must have dropped my phone sometime and ruined the orientation sensor. When I open my camera, it is stuck in panoramic orientation. Toggling screen rotation has no effect whatsoever. On normal home screen, its set at portait and wont rotate. I've download apps that tell you about your sensors such as Android Sensor Box, and it shows that the sensors not responding whether i tilt or shake my phone. Anyone else heard of a problem like this?

what could i do?
well, i've readeing that there's no compass in the moto e, so im wondering if skymaps, and other orientation programs are supposed to work well on this device.

moto e 1st gen doesn't have compass..
so any app that shows directions i.e (north, south, east, west) when the phone is held horizontally /Orientation apps will not work... even Google maps doesn't show the maps according to phone orientation.
it just shows the map in north direction.
"The accelerometer is a built-in electronic component that measures tilt and motion. It is also capable of detecting rotation and motion gestures such as swinging or shaking.
The most common use for it is to activate auto screen rotation on mobile devices when the user changes their orientation from portrait to landscape or vice-versa ."(courtesy: gsmarena)
the accelerometer has nothing to do with compass or its applications.

Sensors not working after replacing the battery

Hi,
after replacing the battery of my SGS6 Edge some sensors are not working.
1. Light sensor is not working when the brightness is set to automatic
2. Gyroscope sensor is not working when screen rotates
maybe other sensors are not working properly too.
I already tried to restart the phone but there is no effect.
On the hidden service menu the the light all sensors seems to work.
The light sensor is working 100% - when I cover it, it shows "0 lux"
The Gyroscope Sensor is working too, but what does the "OIS GYRO" mean? The value on X and Y does not change.
It's my business phone with a lot of data and apps. Thats the reason why I still don't try a hard reset.
Is there a solution whithout resetting the phone?
EDIT: Gyroscope seems to work... strange. But light sensor is still not working. Brightness does not change.
i've similar issue with mine, but I don't know if battery was changed before was given to me, I tried many roms nougat and marshmallow based, but the problem persist. with automatic brightness on, if I scroll the bar, it doesn't change anithing, I've to disable the automatism

Auto rotate not working

On my mate 10 Pro, the auto rotate setting is enabled but apps don't auto rotate to landscape.
I've turned it off and on, tried different apps to control it but no joy.
I should add the screen does rotate from landscape to portrait mode.
Not sure if it's a sensor or setting issue.
Any assistance is appreciated, thanks.
I am having same problem too any solution?
Restart the phone
I was having the same problem on my Honor 8, but a simple phone restart did the trick.
Just restart you phone It happens after it being up for a long time a simple restart fixes it I hope they fixed that bug in Android 9.
