I'm looking for a rom based on android stock for the Mi 8, looking in the forums I found the rom PixelExperience but on the download site does not appear the Xiaomi Mi 8 only the Poco F1, the Mi 8 is not supported?

Right now it only has ported roms from Google Pixel 2 and 3.
You can also try unofficlal builds of Lineage 16, or official Havoc OS rom.
You should ask about in Pixel Experience thread!

I read the indicated post but I have a question, why it is necessary to install MIUI 8.9.20 before installing the rom?
Because of vendor / firmware Partition.
is someone gonna develop it or not? if there is a already existing rom pls send a link for it

There is no oxygen is or hydrogen is port for redmi 5 rosy.
its avaible check on telegram group for rosy then type development then gsi now you can see oxygen os gsi port
just use pixel experiance rom or any stock android,,oxygen os almost similar ui and experiance..
But the speed and reliability of oxygen os cannot be given by any other custom ROM.

The best rom is the rom that best suits a specific user's needs.
It's not a competition so please don't disrespect the rom developers by trying to make it one!
I haven't found one yet. They all have issues.
Here we go again...Best ROM is whichever one you decide it to be, everybody has their preferences, not to mention most of these ROMs are pretty similar between each other... The most popular ones are currently Pixel Experience and LinageOS, but they aren't "the best" by far, imo.

What premiostr have that miui.eu dont have ?
If u r looking for best battery backup and no ****ty mods go for lineage 17.1 by Pigs it is rock solid rom right now although it is unofficial but way better than any official rom anyway best rom totally depends on ur preferences so no rom is best.
Ressurection Remix is the best ROM ever for me, Lineage OS is close second.
I am now using miRoom ... decent but i will change soon
I enjoy MSM Xtended.
Miui based: Hellas Rom or Miuimix
AOSP: LOS or AICP

Shapeshift is a really nice ROM out there, has fully working FOD like MiUI and the battery is at its best and the customisation provided are good enough, with the oneplus launcher that i prefer, stability is very good in this rom no issue faced till now??
So for battery life do you recommend Lineage OS?

Havoc. Very robust features and has no bugs. Battery drain is a little high, but I can live with that. Fingerprint reader is the best I've used.
hey, i was wondering which custom rom performs better for gaming on mi note 10 lite.
cause i was thinking to move on official revengeos, because its a official one so its better
right now im on crdroid 7.2 (android 11) but my cod mobile closes itself and i have storage lag problems so it takes time to go in download folder.
i already tested : pixel experience plus (android 10), evolution x 5.2 (android 11)
if you have (android 11) custom roms for gaming on mi note 10 lite, please recommend them.
tho i do think official revengeos would be great as its official.

i guess its revenge os cause its really really stable.
when a os is very stable it performs better
clearly there's a difference in stability and performance when the rom is official its better
