And, can i use note 7 roms on a3? Because a3 seems to have no development for some of my fav roms.

No, these 2 phones have pretty much the same hardware, like they took one and changed some bits to make the other one. Thats why i said they are pretty much the same.

Apart from CPU, GPU, display, memory type, camera sensors/lenses and fingerprint sensor..yeah, they're pretty much the same.

im not a developer but all ive heard all over the note 2 forums is how it is solely a touchwiz thing. so i would assume the other devices would need tw. assuming that, no one has been successful in this so far. its a neat concept, but i cant find any legitimate uses for it. ive tried texting while watching youtube videos etc... and the even with the note 2 big real estate, there isnt enough room to efficiently do 2 things at once.
and there cant be ported the whole touchwiz ported wit it to other device ? ive got nexus7, it is big enough, so i think it wil be useful.

I don't know if that's possible. It may be. I also don't know if it has anything to do with the kernel like s pen does
so ive just to wait for some developer, or for goole to include that function in next update, thanks for help.

Lol I'm really sorry I couldn't be of help. Just know that it isn't even working on the aosp roms for the phone's it was designed for. I'm guessing that'll come first, if ever. If you're rooted, check out cornerstone by onskreen. Its pretty much the same thing, and is in development now

If it isn't in Settings > Developer Options then I don't think you'll have any options. I know the settings you are looking for are in that section, but do not know if it is 4.1.2 compatible or only for newer firmwares.

no theresn't MSAA options in 4.1.2 , i have it in 4.2 version in iconia A1
Tab 3 is a mess, slow, bad tuoch ..etc , iconia A1 much better than this crap tab 3 series

Yea, the Tab 3 looks decent, but definitely not Samsung's best work. Depending on which variant of the Tab 3 you have, it might be possible to update it with a custom rom, but some versions have locked bootloaders which means you're just kind of out of luck until Samsung decides to put out an update (don't hold your breath...)

Think you're kind of out of luck then. There are some 4.2.2 ports from the t110 that they have working on the t210 with a few little issues, but nothing for the T211 that I could find.

He has a build for the t211 which isn't complete, but the bugs listed aren't serious, so might be worth a try? Worst case you can just restore a nandroid and get back to normal. thanx Budy for your help i will give Gtools a try then i will consider applying the custom rom if i decided to keep the crappy t211 and not selling it
i will post here after i try Gtools (God Willing)
i have tried Gtools the first copy in the thread "Gtools.apk"
it worked with MSAA 4X and 16X and now the broken edges "jagged" have been reduced a lot b4 using Gtools:good:

You'll just have to check the Galaxy Tab 3 forum here on XDA once in awhile. Someone posted in the General section the other day that they were trying to work on something for it.

I am currently a Verizon customer and am still using my old Galaxy SIII.
Several years back, I allowed the phone to install an update which essentially locked down the phone. Something like Knox if I recall correctly. It made it so that I was unable to install custom recovery, such as TWRP which I had used for years. As a result, I stopped paying attention to the android development forums and such... so I'm a rather out of the loop now.
Anyway, I'm looking to finally upgrade my phone and am looking for some guidance / recommendations. Are the newer Galaxy phones still locked down or are you able to install custom roms / recoveries? If so, are there brands other than Samsung that are more popular as far as being able to install custom roms / recoveries? I'm interested in the Android Pay and/or Samsung Pay features that came out a few years ago (are these features still useful?)
Additionally, I am still on the grandfathered unlimited data plan, which I would want to preserve in the process of upgrading.

I gave you the best answer to your question I could find. Saying how long it took for me to find that particular reddit post isn't a measurement of my intelligence. You simply decided to come to that conclusion yourself and be sarcastic about it.
Next time why don't you put more detail in what research you've done already when you post a question. Would have saved my time and yours.
Regardless you still should have invested in the much superior Snapdragon model. I did my research and know getting the mediatek model would cause issues down the line.
Since that reddit post was about the only useful thing I could find (I took a look at some others, frankly I wish I hadn't now), I suggest you try what's suggested in there. As said in the post all of them are the same more or less as they use the same API.
