Brothers, I was using stock ROM of Android 10 and fed up with the bugs and overheating issues so I decided to install customer ROM for a while. I followed the steps to install TWRP and my phone stuck in FASTBOOT mode. Mistakenly I did those steps in both the slots so my phone was not booting from neither slots. The time tried to flash TWRP I had my bootloader unlocked and USB Debbing enabled. In doing R&D I locked my bootloader again and was not able to unlock it as it was always showing me an error "remote unlocking not allowed". Now after 15 days my phone has not have enough battery to power on all it shows after pressing power button for 10 seconds is blinking notification light. When I try to charge it notification light keeps on blinking and nothing happens. In my country and state everything is shut down due to covid-19 and there is no hope for the service centers to open until 25 days. Is there anyone who can help me in getting my phone fixed as I can't buy new phone due to shut down neither I can service my device.
PS: I am not very much into mobile development and kind of nood.. Please help me!

With locked bootloader, you need a service center with an authorized mi account. Find some online service, they will guide you and connect remotely to your PC to reflash the ROM.

Search for "xiaomi edl unbrick" on Google, at least 3 services are being mentioned on different forums. I have no personal experience with any of them, so you'll need to do your own research.

Hi there!
This thread is my last hope, so please dont let me down folks...:cyclops:
The story short - one sunny morning i turned on my HTC Nexus One and it got stuck with te X on the screen for about 15 minutes, non of the buttons responded, so i did the first thing that came in my mind - i pulled out the battery. After inserting the battery the phone went full brick, i mean literally, no reaction on anything, even conected to the wall charger, there is no sign of life, no charging LED, nothing. Connected to the PC, it says USB device not recognised.
I dont think this is a hardware proble, the phone workwd fine until this interrupted power on. Phone runned on stock Androud, i have not played aroun with it - no bootloader unlock, no rooting.
I searched the internet for a solution, tried a lot of button combinations like in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1069032
but still no luck, i cannot restore or flash it while my PC does not recognise the phone.
Found some info about those Usb Jig things, but they work only on Samsung phones, so, is there a way to force the phone to go in recovery mode, or give any sign of life so i can try to recover it or flash a diferent ROM?
The warranty has ended, so no hope there.
Hope there is a way out of this, and, sory for my bad english. :good:

Well no, bricked is a term used when you are rooted and flash a bad rom, kernel, etc. You have no root, so you cannot be "bricked". Just a software failure, you cannot flash another rom because, again, you have no root or custom recovery. Your best bet is trying to send it back to your carrier and get it replaced

Now the screen may not show, but try booting into fastboot mode by press and hold the Trackball+Power buttons together.
I'm not sure about the nexus one, but newer nexus devices have factory images, supplied by Google. If they exist for the nexus one, you should be able to save your device by flashing them through fastboot. That is if the images exist and you can get to fastboot.

Hi,
I've bricked my Redmi Note 3 SP while I was restoring a CM backup via TWRP. I think I probably restored an erroneous partition.
At first, I was able to enter Fastboot, but my PC wasn't recognizing it (Power surge problem) and I had no one else available at the moment to test.
Probably my phone lost all the battery and now it is completely dead. I think I'm being unable to charge it.
I tried I lot of tutorials but my phone is still bricked. I have only not tested the pin test solution as I'm uncomfortable about it.
I tried this steps, but it is still not being recognized by my pc: http://en.miui.com/thread-274589-1-1.html
Anyone else with the same problem?
you can try the deep flash cable method first if you are uneasy about opening the phone up (never tried but I've heard this is what the service centers use)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmdrj4uX7gY
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0tDN20BWj-aeERBczg3QjQtUzA/view
I've opened the phone cover and unplugged the battery and usb as required in the tutorial I posted. But it isn't working.

Had the same issue as yours, tried everything, nothing worked.
Finally had to go to service center, turned out that my motherboard was dead.
Motherboard will arrive in some 15-20 days, till then i have the phone in my drawer.
They said they will replace it as soon as it arrives, just have to wait now, it has already been 10-12 days!
How did it happened to you? It happens while you are using your phone normally, or after a wrong flash as with me?

I've already received the phone from the (unofficial) service center.
They just reinstalled all the software of the phone, probably using the method of the pin test.
Dear Redmi Note 3 experts,
I have totally hard bricked my Redmi Note 3 trying to unlock unofficially. No hardware damage, only hard brick.
I was wondering if it is possible to bring it back to life by changing it's motherboard.
Is there a recommended place online to buy a mother board or a service center I can ship this to replace the mother board?
Does this even make any sense? or is it even possible?
Appreciate any guidance
Use test point mathod it will be back in life easily. Tested myself

If you're unable to boot to fastboot and edl or the pc shows 9008E, get the deep flash cable from Alixpress. It's cheap and easiest way to recover your phone. This cable works fine.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/New...rts-all-BL-locks-Engineering/32785943419.html
Or you can make the cable yourself with some Youtube tutorials posted above.
I can see 9008E. So I just bought a deep flash cable and was able to flash global stable rom with success message.
When I pressed power button, nothing happened.
When I pressed -vol+power, nothing.
when I pressed +vol+power, nothing.
Then I pressed -vol +vol +power together and the screen showed mi logo and android logo at the bottom. Attached picture. It's been like this for 30mins already. It doesn't seem to finish booting. Should I wait?

Wait a bit more and if nothing happens try rebooting to fastboot.
If fastboot is accessible try flashing the latest dev rom.

Did you flash all partition including storage? If I remember correctly, this shouldn't take more than 10-15 mins to boot up or even less. If it's still stuck, you should select 'flash all including storage' in Mi flash.
Or
Since your phone can boot into fastboot now, I would suggest to unlock it unofficially and flash zcx twrp recovery and than flash the rom through recovery after formatting all data.
Device booted after flashing Chinese developer rom. However, another issue seems to have sprouted from this.
There is a prompt saying "Cant Get Valid Device ID"

You lost your IMEI and Modem. Try this -> https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/how-to/flash-recover-efs-snapdragon-t3406789
My phone box has only one IMEI code. I was able to restore that imei to the sim 2 slot. sim 1 slot has some unknown imei1.
However, after much effort flashing many roms trying many methods for efs/imei restore, i was not able to get the sim cards working. none of the sim slots work.
Does the "Radio: OFF" status mean it's being kept forcibly off by the system. i looked for an option to turn it on with no success...

I have also lost IMEI, sent to service and motherboard was changed with IMEI. The problem is the new motherboard, which keeps rebooting, suddenly and randomly. When starts to reboot, it never stops and keeps rebooting on Mi logo - never get to loading MIUI. Even if I flash the MIUI (global) again through EDL, same thing happens. After some time, it will revive again by itself and starts booting. My fault is I didn't backup nvram with the build came from service, but with global stable after I have updated.
It sounds as a hardware issue, or it could be resolved by some software flashing/modification?
@Yogendra Kher Do you have any issues with new motherboard?

You can charge it without it being turned on I assume.
That should get you to 80 or more % so you can repair it with the companion software

Sorry, I do not quite understand how to charge it without being turned on, once connected to the power it will automatically start and restart infinitely, is there any detailed operation method can tell me?
Can you both to recovery and charge there?
Standard way per internet:
"
Recovery Mode SONY Xperia 1 III
At first hold down the Power key for a few seconds to switch off SONY Xperia 1 III.
After that hold down Volume Down and Power button for a couple of seconds.
If the SONY logo appears release the Power key."
In your case see if you can match step 2 up with the phone rebooting if that makes sense.
I would try that with power cable in first, then without the cable in, if the other doesn't work. Then put power in while in recovery mode.
Hope that works

Please help me, my Hong Kong version 512 grey xperia 1 iii arrived on the first day, I tried to brick the Taiwan version of the firmware, and now I am prompted as shown in the picture, and reboot infinitely. I want to use xperia companion to fix it, but it says it needs more than 80% battery so it keeps failing. I'd like to know how to charge it in case of infinite reboot. I'm really afraid of using newflasher as a white guy, I can't understand what partitioning or whatever I said in other posts, adb always prompts waiting for device, and the driver is always a yellow exclamation mark. Please have no big brother to help me! I am more anxious to use the phone also stall on such a thing!

Were you able to fix your phone? I have the same problem, I unlocked my phone and rooted it but then decided to relock my phone. Silly me i didn't charge my phone before using the Sony companion to repair it now it just keeps rebooting when I tried to charge it. Anyone has a solution to this is very much appreciated.
I had the same problem and brought it back to the store. It seemed that there was a problem with the fingerprint button, which kept the phone in restart boot. The only thing you need to do is to bring it back, have them/Sony check the phone. Ultimately you will get a New phone. I did. Yesterday. Hope it does not occur again.
I have same problem please help us. I have XQ-BC72 HK and I used New Flasher to flash RU or TW and corrupted. And I tried to fix with Xperia Companion but I have no charge.
Bro I solve the problem and phone is running now... Contact me...

Sounds like water damage is causing your phone's power-button to stay held down. Happened to me with an Essential PH-1. You might want to look into getting a new phone, then.
