External Bluetooth GPS for Verge - Amazfit

Hi.
I'm a go kart racing driver and I use the Verge on Cycling (no karting) to track my exercise. However, the GPS rate frequency seems to be very low and not accurate, as the track path goes all over the place, not only the track. I want to purchase and connect and external GPS with higher frequency. Tried QstarZ but it didn't connect. Do you know any other models? Have you tried any? Any suggestions to fix this?

[Q] External GPS receiver without fraud location enabled?

Hi all,
I have a car, which has a windscreen with additional anti-UV layer (violet-like, when looking at it from the outside). Unfortunately thus windscreen successfully restricts any kind of radio transmission (eg. GPS signal, anti-radar detection, etc.). I've bought a standalone GPS bluetooth receiver (Nokia LD-3W), this sort of devices has much better signal reception than internal one. It can receive signal indoor, no matter which floor I am on. My plan was to put it at the back of my car, in the windowed trunk. And then, Houston, we have a problem...
Android does not support external GPS receivers by itself. You have to download a bluetooth gps app from the GP (one of the best is called Bluetooth GPS). Turn bloetooth on, turn on mock location in programming options (you have to, because internal GPS will still be on; turning of locations in android disconnects from the external GPS), turn mock GPS in the Bluetooth GPS app, and then, theoretically, you can use your external GPS. Yes, it works, but...
Many, many apps have a check for the mock location and refuse to work with these settings... Some navigations, all radar-warners used in my country, family locators and many more.
I'm eagerly looking for a way to patch an app to disable this check (Lucky Patcher?) or any other way to solve this problem.
Thanks,
SQBI

Use a Android phone as GPS Car tracker - need application

Is there an Android applitation which can be used as a GPS tracker in a car?
If I have an Android phone lying always in my car, I need a program that I can install and via a browser see where the car is right now. Live realtime tracking..
I would also like to see the current speed, intercept the car via phone microphone, and If I park the car and someone move/stealing it, I get an alarm immediately.
Could enter the gasoline prices and how much the car run on 1 liters gasoline, for an approximately record of average speed and mileage hours
try real-tme GPS tracker 2 by Greenalp or Geozilla.
dunno about "intercept the car via phone microphone", but for GPS live tracker, there are ton apps on playstore..just search "GPS tracker"

Amazfit pace for running

Hi guys, I am considering buying a Pace for running and was wondering how it does?
There is a post on here about the stratos saying it is floored as a sport tracker for the following issues, are these also true for the Pace?
Pace reading quickly fluctuating while running instead of being average over a few seconds.
poor altitude readings
poor hr readings
discrepancies between mileage recorded in the Amazfit app and when uploaded to Strava
Thanks!
I own a Pace and it perfectly fills my needs: built-in GPS, heart hate monitor (with option of continuous monitoring at expense of more battery drain), sleep monitor (only works by night), internal storage for use with music and Bluetooth phones, changeable bands, battery for more than a couple of days and a trans reflective display that is simply perfect under sunlight. I am not a pro, so I don't need precision below 10%. As it's a watch, it seems to me that most errors are due to how much the watch is tight on wrist and if you pause or not during the activity. This is an example of all the data it calculates (I was walking by the way, testing other things), what means it can improve or be fixed by future firmware updates.
Hi everyone.
Does amazfit has user modified training options like, intervals with own speed or time?

Fossil Gen 5 Smartwatch - GPS Issues

Greetings. Over the holiday season, I received a Fossil Gen 5 Smartwatch. One issue I am encountering is with GPS functionality when the watch is not connected to WIFI or connected to the phone via BLUETOOTH. This happens for example when I go out on a run.
My current procedure entails turning WIFI and BLUETOOTH on the Fossil watch off, and placing the watch outside while I wait for the Google Fit app to acquire a GPS signal. This typically takes 3-5 minutes. Then, once the GPS signal is acquired, it tends to toggle back and forth between "GPS Acquired" and "Acquiring GPS". This intermittent GPS connectivity tends to cause some very unusual map generation at the end of the activity, and I also call into question the distance measurement of the app. Is it switching over to the pedometer method of counting steps when the watch does not have GPS connectivity?
Has anyone else experienced issues with GPS connectivity with their Fossil Gen 5 Smartwatch? Has anyone been able to improve GPS performance?
Smartwatches are the new cool gadget in the market; it lets you carry your world on your wrist!

Yes I am having problems. I use Strava for running and cycling. It tracks my rides fine, but I think that's because I have my phone with me. When I go for a run without my phone Strava hasn't recorded one correctly. I have started using Nike Run Club for runs because of this and it seems to be OK, so I am not sure if it is a Strava issue or not.
Sometimes using the Nike app it has the right distance but segments are not showing on the map when I've finished so maybe it isn't. Didn't have any problems when using my Huawei Watch 2.

Helllo! I also bought this watch for cycling training mainly but I found it to be a scam! The watch has 80 sports without being able to display data for all of them, it just boasts that it has many sports. The main problem with cycling is that it does not recognize the Cadence And Speed sensors. The above sensors are the main cause of indoor measurement. Cadence is also an important element for cyclists. Another nonsense that this watch has is that it tries to locate GPS in the internal cycling profile, for what reason?
Has anyone connected Bluetooth Cadence and Speed sensors to the watch?
I imagine NO !!!
