Hello all! I wanted to share this update on the Sprint forum because I feel we should still stick together since it is easy to get confused with all the international variants.
I asked the authors and got their permission to pass this along on this forum. I want to give ALL credit to them. I did nothing to develop this, but did load it on my phone and confirm it works...

Do you happen to have a working link for the latest BL and CP? It is currently PL1, correct?
Edit: Never mind, ODINed the PL1 stock firmware, recovery and then flashed the ROM. Nearly bricked.

CodeROM is an after-market firmware based on Android Open-Source Project (AOSP) / CyanogenMod created by LollypopS2 Team to provide users with a Lollypop based ROM for Samsung Galaxy S2 (i9100) International Variant!!!
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo.

Read my post carefull!
I said it won't pass the boot animation.
This is the first build, but we need some help.
Maybe the problem is in the kernel because its the stock cm11 kernel.
We need someone who can help us with the kernel and with compiling.
Wow. Thank you dev. I hope you find people who can help you with this project. All the best!

So the rom can get past the boot animation now?
@jeffreyvh hey, take a look at this.... It's already booting on N7000.. That's mostly a similar phone to the i9100... It will surely help you... Or at least you can contact the guy who made it, he might help you...

Well that's because the n7000 forum still has recognized developers that have lots of experience in developing roms. We have a few recognised developers over at the i9100 forum but most them are either busy with life or have no time to develop new roms. Not trying to say that the developers over at our forum are inexperienced, but we still don't have enough developers (well, active ones)!!!
Side note: @jeffreyvh, you should upload your rom on a different website like android file host or mediafire or at least something else.

The work done on N7000 can be easily ported to i9100, they have similar hardware with slightly higher clocked CPU (1.4 vs 1.2) ... The Dev seems to be going in the wrong direction... Why porting a ROM from a qualcom based phone.. When you already have it running on an exynos device with your same hardware...
Awesome subscribed. I agree with @ahmedelhofy. Note based rom must be easier to port coz of similar soc and board.

well you see this is a hobby for me not something I do as a profession apart from that when you say why help me ? you see if you help me then we can make the rom faster I am not a developer I have learned everything from xda rather than asking for eta you can just help me instead. also cm10 only has touch screen broken and maybe some random glitches I have also made a cm11 branch if you want to help or contribute it would be nice
Netfilter Iptables Droidwall
@Xado If you release a 3rd ver of the kernel, it would be great that you add the "netfilter/iptables" modules, so DroidWall will work. Thanks in advance!

Original Thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...resurrectionremix-galaxy-j5-variants-t3941399
Resurrection Remix ROM has been based on LineageOS, SlimRoms, Omni and original Remix ROM builds, this creates an awesome
combination of performance, customization, power and the most new features, brought directly to your Device.
Many things that in previous versions were tweaked with mods, are now included by default in the ROM so, please enjoy!
Special thanks to the LineageOS team, Omni team, SlimRoms and of course to all the supporters.

The camera Fix link fixed, sorry for the inconvenience.
Thank you! Working perfectly, but sometimes Android randomly restarts. Also the RADIO FIX link is wrong (there are three dots in the link, instead of actual link). Camera working, every app seems like working fine too. NFC isn't working, does exist any fix? Will NFC ever work?

NFC isn't working neither on Oreo or Pie, there isn't much of a hope it will ever.

Oh I see. Thank you.
Yeah it does. Not too often but sometimes it does (soft restart). I was trying to find out which action makes this happen but I didn't find anything. I've been using this ROM for about 6 hours and it seems like it got better. It haven't restarted in the last hour yet.
Thanks....
I'm trying now
