It's really crazy to see almost no Development at all anymore... After doing that so many Years and after trying to create something new with My Patches, since back in the Nexus 6 Days am i hoping this one here will lasts for a long Time! We will see how the future of Android will look like...
One Thing You could Me support with: Google Camera! Thats what a Pixel like Projects needs to be complete...
Fixed the main Issue in the Alpha Stage. Beta will come soon
I like the idea of this. Been waiting for custom Roms to come to the Xperia 5. Just the stock Xperia 5 right now grosses me out. I ended up going back to my xz premium on los volte 9 because of this. Also the 21:9 ratio is hard for me to switch over.
I can't wait!
Finally a custom ROM, I've had one on every Sony smartphone I've had since the original XZ and my Xperia 5 feels a bit boring on the stock ROM. The new Sony home screen is kinda QBASIC and it's a slightly dumbed down version of the one from the XZ2 and they removed the Sony email app. Lololol... As soon as this is released I'll give it a try. :cyclops: :good: :good:
My GSI Experiments are stunning today. I can get VoLTE, and many other things to work. Also optimized the Cameras and Audio overall quality... Think my New Goals is the optimization of our Vendor Partitions... The results are amwesome! Publishing something New this weekend!
BETA1 uploading...
https://youtu.be/sFTvncOpHDk
BETA2 coming. Fixed all Bugs on Stock. Optimized a lot under the hood. Added Audio functions such as Monitor Rotation (Channels change on base of the actual rotation state), Google Pixel UI with Black Dark Mode, Audio Recorder, Pixel Launcher, Theme Manager and so on. Hope You will enjoy it! A Video Preview is also incoming!
(PS: Please avoid using the Gesture Navigation since it's broken with the Pixel Launcher. QuickSwitch for Magisk may fix that, or you can try to install a third Launcher from the Play Store. Sorry for that!)
Mindbreaking. I managed to get Google Play System Updates like on the Pixel or Devices with updateable Apex. Device booted Up fine after applying it... What a Finding...

It would have been a pleasure to be your tester but currently im pre occupied with my field of study which is cybersecurity. Please keep up the good work and it will be fruitful in the end.
Sir, you just got yourself another tester. I couldn't figure out how the hell root this device, but after one hour with your guide and careful reading, I've managed to install Magisk on this Xperia! Now I'm just waiting for your ROM to download. I'll post an update after installing.
EDIT:
I've got a lot of FC's in the beginning, but it seems like it had calmed down after about 10-15 minutes. The ROM looks really like a mix of a Pixel and Xperia. As far as I can see:
- Phone does not want to connect to PC, says it's connected but does not charge/connect storage
- Theme engine does work, but pixel theme app keeps crashing when choosing wallpaper.
- Mic working, but badly (only third party apps and only somewhat)
I'll see if there's more. Waiting for beta 3!

Thanks for the Feedback! Can't wait for more. It will stay everything Beta for the next Versions, but i'll try to fix actual Bugs first before releasing BETA3.
About USB. Try to enable/disable adb under Developer Options in the System Settings... I'll Take a look on this too!

Day 2:
There is absolutely no battery drain, which is amazing. I left it at 98% for the night, and it was still at 98% in the morning.
There is a big issue though, which is setting this automatic Google wallpaper, which changes everyday or so. IF you put it as your homescreen and locksreen wallpaper, it actually softbricks your phone and it won't boot up after rebooting (which will be needed, since the screen will start flashing like mad). Sooo, back to square one, flashing the official software again! I'll do it after work today.

Ouh thats crazy. Thanks for letting me know! You can try to hold the Volume Button + or - with Power Button to Go in save Mode/b Slot to manage Magisk or do a factory reset. You can also do this by using "fastboot -w" which will also do a factory reset
Sorry for that! Hope i can fix it quickly...
It's okay, it's not my daily driver anyway. Fastboot -w doesn't seem to help, all I get is mke2fs failed with status 1. I guess I should keep the wallpaper stock for now hahah
It'll be up and working soon, and I'll do some testing again.
EDIT:
So I've redone everything and the device is up and running. I wanted to make a video of this issue with the wallpaper, but I can't reproduce this error.
To be honest, I'd try to repair the issue with Pixel 19 wallpapers app crashing, since it's probably it FC:ing causing the issue. Otherwise, it's got the same issues as mentioned.
BETA3 released and i am sorry for the missing BETA2! A XZ3 User told me that the uploaded Version on My Website still was BETA1. I fixed that with BETA3 and BETA4 will be coming soon! Enjoy

One of the most common criticisms of the Nexus One is its screen. Beyond a few touchscreen problems, a lot of people have had problems with the screen being too blue. This mod attempts to correct this color cast.
The top is with my hack, the bottom is without. This is a color accurate version. The weird green band is just the combination of my camera and what is on the page.
Here is a screenshot of the .apk:
UI, on Flickr
Currently, the color cast is corrected for most people's taste and there is an app to configure it.
Beyond color casts, it is theoretically possible to fix the gamma. It is currently 1.5 when it should be 2.2. That is a fairly bad setting. The roadblock to the implementation of this is that SurfaceFlinger, the window control application in Android, would have to be converted to OpenGL ES 2.0, which some devices don't support, and I would have to figure out how to write the right shader. If you or someone you know is experienced in GLSL for mobile devices, let me know.
Installation:
Anything earlier than Froyo is not supported. If you really want me to add support, let me know, but I'm not putting the time in unless there is a strong need.
For CM6 Nightlies (after Aug 8th) or CM6 final you don't need to flash anything, just install the CM .apk.
For most other roms, you want Universal .zip and normal .apk.
If universal doesn't work due to a failure to flash (so far, this is confirmed for eVIL's Sense V1.00 rom, but not later versions), try the one labeled Sense.
After you install the .zip and there are no errors during flashing, then install the Calibrator Control app.
Use:
To control it, open the Calibration Settings app and just change the numbers. Let me know what numbers you find pleasing to your eye. We currently use: Red = 975, Green = 937, Blue = 854 for the settings for reference. It will save your settings and load them on boot. This feature only works if you have the app installed on the phone and not on the SD card.
As always, there is no warranty with regards to this hack.
Credit goes to Cyanogen and his team for maintaining the source I based my small tweak off of and the authors of the original source, RixKliq for the great icon, and xenio2000 for the UI improvements and help with presets.
Changelog:
V1.0 - First hacky implementation
V2.0 - Cleaned up implementation, integrated better
V2.0b - Fixed signing issues.
V3.0 - Added 3 presets, of which the neutral one loads at boot.
V3.1 - Moved presets slightly cooler, added low red mode for low brightness screens and those who hate red.
V3.2 - Changed profile to be significantly more accurate and fixed multilingual bug.
V4.0 - API not changed, but new .apk allows on boot loading of any color setting you want.
V4.1 - API changed, but only to add a wider rom support. It still requires froyo though.
V4.2 - API not changed, added support for roms that moved libraries to /data/lib, enhanced UI.
V5.0 - API not changed, sadly, but added presets, major UI overhaul to .apk.
V5.1 - Bugfixes galore!
(Still) Planned:
Adding gamma, much less likely than I thought.
Adding dynamic red decrease as the backlight goes down.

Known Bugs
If calibration is enabled, Spare Parts will crash when Render Settings is opened.
Some versions may have logcat spam. Let me know if this happens to you.
Is there any way to test this feature without CM6?
Any risk of damaging the display? Sorry, had to ask
I am willing to give it a try.

It's possible, I just put CM6 as that is what I had on my phone to test it with and that is what source I built it from. Any rom that allows you to change the render effect should be compatible but really, all I can do is upload the code and see who would want to implement it in their rom.

It shouldn't be a problem, it runs the blue OLEDs at a lower brightness, so it shouldn't go out of spec. In fact, it should increase the display life, but these are all "should"s.
Cool. My rom doesn't allow the rendering effect, unfortunately. I want to try this

yeah i know. but I just have all my settings exactly as I like. in fact, my phone almost feels completely tuned in terms of performance. i just know any rom that I flash, I won't like as much as the one I have.
Plus I'm just waiting for CM6 final.
nice. I've thought it was way too cool since I powered it on the 1st time.
I'll give this a go in a bit.
thx for sharing.
Once you get all this fixed up, send me a pull request on github and I'll merge it into CM
I'd love to try this myself, but I won't have access to my Android SDK computer until this weekend.
I'm curious, would you happen to have any comparison pictures?

There you go, see the OP, it looks a bit too yellow in the pic, but it does show the difference.
Edit: Fixed the colors to show it exactly as it appears on the phone on my calibrated screen.

Very cool.
as I was saying in the other thread, will it be possible to correct this bad effect??

and make it decent, like iphone...
your doing a great job, i'm gonna try those new settings
I'm not sure I can, as the gallery app is closed source. Maybe I can try webkit for the browser, but I wouldn't know where to start.
In other news, I'm working on making a more elegant solution. I may have something worthy of adding to CM by late this evening.
I THOUGHT that colour banding problem was fixed in an update some time, because I remember the original article had an 'UPDATE:'.
wow keep up to good work...you shuld put your "donate" button somewhere
EDIT: i tried the new calibration, the only thing that i don't like is that white, isn't pure white anymore...it's a bit yellow, like old paper...is it intended to be like that?? I mean, that's the correct value for white?
EDIT2: google said that they would have implemented new 24bit Gallery in 2.2...but images in 2.2 Gallery still looking bad, and they look bad in astro too!! The browser is the only one that displays beautiful images without banding...i've just tried with the "sunset on mars" image
http://www.displaymate.com/NASA_Sunset_on_Mars_1080.jpg
Something's up with the link. I can't download this file even though other files on Mediafire are working for me.

Well, there's two calculations for color, there's the normal one and the planck-calculated one. For this driver, the color is 6500 on the normal one but 6000 on the planck one. It also gets yellower the brighter the screen is. So, since I figured out how to do an update.zip, my next update in an hour or so will have the brighter value with planck calculated values.
However, it took me a month to get used to how "yellow" my computer was once I calibrated it.
Lastly, bad news, I don't think I can change the gamma. I can't individually address the pixels to mess with them except in the kernel. That would be a mess.
Oh, I'll have a better version up in 10 minutes or so, so there'll be a new link.
Check my 2nd edit...
Im gonna try the new file tomorrow since it's sleep time here..
For the gamma setting maybe we should contact some kernel master...good night!

Sweet, gonna try it out now!!
Thanks guys.
I hope (with a little help) camera and 3g won't be broken very long. What I really need now is someone I could lean on to help me get this thing back to at least the same functionality of the base ROM.
You crazy mad scientist....
This looks very interesting and frightening!!
Can't wait!

Well, not only 3g but I broke mobile network period. I had it earlier today but it was when I was on another version. I've been working on this all day so I'm done for tonight but I'll look into mobile network first, then camera.
This has a lot of potential! I want to try it, but I'll wait till camera and data is working. Thanks for bringing this to the 3d!

that would be great! I'm trying to find why I've lost data. Do you know if that is controlled in the framework, because i've narrowed it down to there but every file size in system/framework is different than in the base, so I'm looking at some time and trial & error to find the problem unless I get a hint on where to start
I would guess camera problem is in there too...

What did you change in between the versions that potentially killed cam and 3g?
Kinda cool!
Flashed fine for me. Did 4EXT wipe all partitions except SD and flashed the ROM only. The gapps were already there.
Tablet mode for the home screen is a little strange with the status bar at the bottom and the app drawer icon at the top, but I guess that's the way it's supposed to be. My tablet is still running HoneyComb so I'm not familiar with ICS on a tablet.
Definitely has promise and can add some sizzle to Devil Toast if you can work out the remaining problems.

Apearantly left out some stuff from the build.prop. Mobiledata/3g is working now. Camera still won't start but it hasn't worked for me yet so hopefully digital can help with that.

Chrome Beta is working in .41, and I guess Wifi Tether just doesn't work as a system app because it's working fine as user app.

MiLauncher for Tablets
I'm proud to announce the overhaul of the MIUI Launcher for Tablets.
It's been a very long time since I've updated the project, as when I left it, (due to not owning a tablet any more) I believed that it was working as I had intended on Tablets, sadly, as of Android 4.3 that was no longer the case.
With the release of Android 4.4 I obtained another tablet and decided to update the project. This is the result of my work, my research and the help of a few others, who will be mentioned below.
Please, provide feedback, hit thanks, and most importantly, enjoy it. Please understand that this is currently in beta, the bugs that it currently contains are all small graphical quality of life ones, and I'll be getting right on those.
As someone who is studying full time, please understand that I don't have a lot of free time, but I'll do my best to update this regularly and respond to any concerns or issues you may have.
I do not give permission for my work to be redistributed, direct linked or posted anywhere else other then XDA-developers.com or en.miui.com forums. Anyone who shares this must post a link to this thread and give credit.

Beta 1:
31st March 2014

Not really a ton to say as of yet
They're probably a little giant, brace yourself.
Bug or Graphical Issue / Work around
Beta 1:
The weather clock 4x2, Clock 2x1 and Clock 2x2 do not appear graphically correct on the HP Touchpad.
> Pending further feedback from other devices.
In the Launcher Settings -> Launcher: There is text that does not appear in english.
>This is the Hide Apps With a Pin Function.
Static Wallpapers seem blurred when using this launcher on the HP Touchpad.
> Pending further feedback from other devices, not sure if this is device specific or not, Live Wallpapers Seem to Work Fine.
There is text that does not appear in english in the themes market
Obviously as the market stuff is server side, I can't change that, however there may be a few local images > Pending further investigation.
MIUI Express Locker is terribly scaled, low res and buggy
> Disable Express Locker, which is stated in the install instructions anyway.
This is something I'm still looking into and I'm not sure if I can fix it, generally it's about as buggy and slow as most lock screen replacements anyway,
not sure if they've improved that from the last time I used MiHome on a phone > Pending further investigation.
If you have an issue be it graphical or performance based, the first step is to make sure it isn't a bug from your rom,
if you've excluded that possibility post in the main thread, for me to be able to do anything with it, you must include;
Code:
Your Device Name
Your Android Version
Your Current Rom
Your Device DPI
Version of this Launcher
The problem.
If you haven't followed the install instructions below, don't expect me to do anything to resolve your issue until you do.
Part 1:
Download and Install MiHome-Step1.apk
Once the launcher loads slide up from above the nav bar and hit "Launcher Settings."
Scroll down the options until you find "Cell Layout Type"
Hit it and select the option that suits your device best
Please choose wisely because you'll need to re-install the app to change this.
Part 2
Download and Install ZSC.mihome.BX.apk, (X being the latest version number)
You will be prompted to update MiHome, obviously confirm it.
Once MiHome loads, you may or may not notice a rather mangled looking clock widget.
I am aware of this and for the moment, delete it.
Head into launcher settings, if you don't have a physical menu button look in the next section.
Hit the "Lockscreen" option, uncheck "Use MiHome Locker",
this is the lockscreen replacement Xiaomi includes with the launcher.
It doesn't play well with larger screens or landscape as of the moment
Optional But Very Recommended
If you do not have a physical menu key,
long press an empty part of the screen and hit the "Toolbox" icon.
Select the "Launcher Settings" icon on the far right.
You'll see the icon is on your home screen, open the settings.
Hit the "Launcher" option, look down at the last option "Choose Swipe Up Gesture Function"
Hit it and select the last option "Swipe up to open Menu."
Now you can view all your options by sliding up from above the nav bar again!
If your transitions seem slow, or strange when changing home pages,
Head into "Launcher Settings", Hit Launcher
Hit "Screen Transition Effects" and select something other than "Classic",
This is optional, but Classic looks silly and makes the launcher seem less fluid.
It may also appear strangely on some devices.
Beta 1:
Step 1 - Refer to the Instructions
Step 2 - Refer to the Instructions
Code:
I'm not responsible for anything that happens to your device, but I highly doubt anything will.
Good job man, thanks for your efforts on this app.
The only thing is the default wallpaper is offset by about an inch from the top. Solved by changing wallpaper.I seem to remember that was an issue with classicnerds miui rom. Otherwise looking good!

Unfortunately I will no longer be updating this project as I am still quite sick and it works as intended for Tablets.
Public Service Announcement ♥
Howdy Everyone! Zerosuit Connor here,
For the past six months I've been very unwell and without an android device, but just recently I managed to obtain another tablet and I long for the sweet taste of MIUI. That's why I'm pleased to announce that I'll be updating this project with Android 4.4 support and a few fixes, so please look forward to that.
A little under a month ago I locked the downloads, by changing the public permissions, and I put the wrong type of privacy setting on the files. Meaning, that because of my mess-up, anyone with the links could send an email through Google drive and directly to my account. Because of the high volume of emails I got, I decided to leave the links like that to see what kind of demand there still was. This was the result.
In regards to the downloads being locked, that was due to a large number of sites either; direct linking to the download, or re-uploading it. The worst part about this was that many did not give me credit, and others took the credit for themselves. All of the formerly mentioned misdoings were against my wishes, and despite what was written on my original post and numerous warnings from myself, many of them still continued. I am sorry that you've all had to suffer because of this.
Thank you for your continued support, and I'll keep you posted! Within the next 1-2 days I'll be back with a few questions about the kind of devices you own! ♥
Updated, new overhauled version posted. Please thoroughly read the Original Post and Instructions. Thankyou.

Hey, this is awesome! I've been a longtime MIUI user, and was actually thinking about making a port for the tenderloin...but I think I'll wait for the V6/kitkat version.
In the meanwhile...have you seen that Xiaomi has released a beta of "MIUI Lite"?
http://en.miui.com/thread-18293-1-1.html
I know there's really no need for a dialer, but this could be quite handy for your purposes.

I'll take a good look at that actually, thanks for bringing it to my attention! I'm also quite interested in taking a look at V6 considering they've added auto-rotation.
Great stuff! Installing now.....

Landscape Mode Only - Persistent for the moment.
Grid Sizing Options;

Pretty MIUI Icons
Various Transition Effects
Hide apps from your home screen and make their access pin protected!

Android 2.3-4.4 support
Code:
Beta 1:
31st March 2014
Initial re-release
Based off MiHome 2.22.0
Resolved an issue where the launcher would not open on Android 4.3 and 4.4 devices
Not really a ton to say as of yet
They're probably a little giant, brace yourself.

** Install Instructions **
Clean Wipe and Flash Talon 1.0.zip (Flash boot.img if you are S-On)
The first time the ROM boots after install, the boot animation will appear to freeze. Just give it a minute and it will finish booting to the home screen.
In the welcome wizard, uncheck the two settings that say "Backup my account to Google." If you have a backup app, Google backup is unnecessary and can confuse the ROM.
At the end of the setup wizard, it may appear to be frozen. Press the home button to open launcher.
By default, the ROM has the system theme. To get the ROM how it looks in the screenshot, first go to System Settings -> Themes and choose to apply your choice of Pitch Black (blue on black) or Jelly Black themes (white on black).
Press home to go back to the home screen and open the Nova Launcher settings. Look for the section that says Look and Feel -> Icon Set. Choose the Minimal icon set (which are black and white icons).
To get the AOKP wallpaper, long-press on the desktop, click Wallpapers then choose "Swag Papers" as the source. The wallpaper in the screenshot is the very first one in the gallery.
For some reason, the Camera icon isn't in the dock by default. All you have to do is open the app drawer, long-press the camera icon and then when the home screen shows up, drag it to the empty space on your dock.

I know lol. I just downloaded and came back to give thanks and the thread was gone.
To anyone who downloads, I just realized I forgot to tweak the MMS app to not split text messages over 160 characters. If you don't want split texts, just use the MMS.apk from one of Neo's roms. I will upload the one from Infection in a bit.
So good to see you back. Love your rom's. Thought you may have gotten a new phone and were gone for good. Thank you for the ROM.

No, a coworker accidentally knocked my 2 TB external hard drive off my desk and killed it. I tried to dev on another PC and ran out of hard drive space. You literally have to have a minimum of 50+ GB free just to work on one ROM.
Neo helped me find a working build setup. It's good to be back! And I plan on being with the Rezound probably at least through January, if not longer. Glad to be part of our little community.
And hope you like the ROM. It's not as fast as Neo's ROMs, but the CrossBreeder mod I baked in makes things pretty snappy.
I gotta say, this is awesome .

Yep running very smooth so far. I love AOKP. For those who still use openpdroid, it works fine, no issues.
As always Brenuga, amazing work. This is the fastest aokp rom I have used to date. I love aokp and am really happy we have you working on it. Great job. Gotta send you some money sir.
Google backup is unnecessary and can confuse the ROM so if I use google to back up should I not try this rom? Confuse like not run like it should.?

Cool beans. My wife now has my Rezzie these days but Im thinking about replacing the CM10.1 build on it with something more recent. Is this pretty much stable/bug free?

No issues for me. I definitely would recommend it. :good:
Been running amazing for me since it was released. No random reboots, lock ups, and getting great battery life. Thanks again brenuga
issue?
I have flashed this and the rom itself is great so far...but when I went to change the wallpaper to one of the photos from my phone it says "no external storage". I cant even use the camera, says the same. I can mount the phone to pc and see everything as I should and via card reader. Strange thing is I can flash things in recovery with the rom from the external sd...I don't get it. Gonna switch back to previous rom and see if it finds the external storage. Will post back.

Feel free to post any bug you find on a proper way:
1. Build you are running
2. Mods you are using: music mods, magisk, whatever.
3. How to reproduce it.
4. Logcat, ksmeg... if applicable.
I would like this thread to be an example of a development thread so please:
1. Be respectful with each other.
2. READ a couple of times the OP before posting. If there is anything that is not in the op and should be there just let me know.
3. Search before posting, maybe your question is already answered.
4. Features request are allowed, but it doesn't mean I will fulfil all of them. And they are not the reason behind this thread.
That's all for now. Enjoy CarbonRom
Huge thanks to the CarbonROM team as a whole for being awesome.
Also to @Agent_fabulous as I took his trees as a base.
Known bugs as of now:
1. App crashes on taking a photo while recording.
2. Wifi Display is not working.
Other than that, you tell me
Please report any bug you find on a proper way.

Good to see carbon rom still kicking around. Flashed the latest build and it works great, very snappy. Don't expect a ton of features but it covers most common ones. Unfortunately, screen cast doesn't work just like most pie roms for the bacon. I use this a lot so it's a deal-breaker for me, hope it will get fixed

Cast to Chromecast seems to be working now so that 1 thing out of the way. However cast to smart TV (wireless display) still doesn't work. When I attempt to cast, the screen turns black for 10-20 seconds and it only comes back after what seems like a system-ui restart. Due to the restart, I'm not sure if the logs were captured successfully but here it is anyways

Great, thanks! I'll look into it
A pleasant surprise.
Way back when the OnePlus 2 was released I bought a OnePlus One from my collegue (so he could buy the OnePlus 2).
Then I discovered the OnePlus section on this forum.
Experimented with some custom ROMs and ended up using Carbon.
Once in a while I received the usual updates.
But then the update became way more interesting.
New boot screen, new interface, new version !
Upon the reboot some Google apps were not working.
Flashing the open_gapps-arm-9.0-micro-20190531.zip and then let Google Play do his updates helped.
Then I found this thread and decided to post my findings.
6 months ago I bought a OnePlus 6, which is my daily driver.
I was planning to sell the Bacon but now I decided to experiment a bit more with it.
As old als the OnePlus One is, technology wise, it still feels new to me with this 9.0 update.
A very great thanks to the developers out there!
Keep up the good work!!
===============================
Google Play Music stops. I don't use it so I don't mind.
Google Play Games stops. Don't use this one either.
OnePlus Switch crashed. Removed and reinstalled and works again.
Native camera doesn't start --> Open Camera v1.46
WhatsApp starts up fine but since the Bacon doesn't have a SIM card I can not complete registration --> WhatsApp is running on my OP6
Flashlight is grayed out. --> Third party Flashlight App works fine.
Droid Info (InkWired) does not work, CPU-Z v1.29 works.
Apps for ChromeCast 2.12 work perfectly with my ChromeCast 1.
oh nice news, carbonRom is still alive. This was one of my favourite rom
New update has been pushed. The wireless display should be fixed ( But I couldn't test it, so if anyone can, please let me know ). Also sepolicy is strengthened further. For complete changelog: https://carbonrom.org/carbonrom/changelog/
Wireless display still doesnt work sadly. Are you planning to add other features to the ROM? I personally would like to see oneplus screen-off gestures and status bar swipe to adjust brightness. Surprisingly Pie feels so smooth on the old bacon, probably thanks to Carbon magic

App drawer is laggy as hell. Rest is so smooth. Feeling a lot better than 8.1 already.
Thanks for the great work.
There is a small bug with the positioning of the notification icons in status bar. I moved the time to the right. But sometimes new notification icons does not align themselves to the very left. Please see the pic attached.
Plus, when data indicator is showing, battery percentage icon gets lost under time. Even sometimes- if data is big in decimals- some part of battery percentage numbers also disappear under time. See other attachement.
Other bug is, when I scroll between main pages, status bar drops down. I know this is intended behavior to drop down it via a scroll on home screen but this is working as intended. This is so sensitive. When you scroll pages from the very edge, you can replicate it so easily. You have to be so precise with your scrolling angle. If you are not very perpendicular, notificational panel drops down.

The default launcher needs OpenGL renderer to work fine. You can install other launcher like Hyperion or Nova launcher, or add this prop to your build.prop: debug.hwui.renderer=opengl (Not recommended since it causes other glitches in UI like no screenshot preview and others)
Enabling the kill 75% of pixels for saving energy is an absolute killer. It makes the touchscreen unusable (ghost touches and no registration of own touches) had to hard reset after enabling this feature!
Does anyone know how to turn off notification LED while charging?
