I have a Galaxy S9+ Dual Sim variant (SM-G965F). Suddenly my device lost gsm connectivity. It's always on emergency calls only mode. then I tried to search manually for network operators from settings, it shows the operator list but it didn't register. Then I tried googling my error and suddenly came up with MIPI device failure. I will attach a screenshot that I found by entering *#0011# command. Is this a hardware or software fault? how can I fix this? Thank you.

I bought new XOLO Q800,
After few weeks only I found that it's not working on 3G mode.
i.e. if I select WCDMA only mode It is showing No Tower(Signal) at all.
and If I set to AUTO(WCDMA/GSM) mode it Shows signal.
In AUTO mode It connects only to EDGE not on 3G.
I tried many possibilities like flight-mode/wifi-on-off/removing -reinserting SIM .. lot..
Info may help senior to understand problem:
SIM: AIRCEL INDIA
in AUTO mode:
When I search network manually,
It shows All 2G and 3G tower in that area.
like
AIRCEL2G
AIRCEL 3G
...
..
and I'm able to Register to AIRCEL 3G in AUTO mode.
but still internet connecting to EDGE
In WCDMA only mode:
When I switch it from GSM only mode or AUTO mode to WCDMA only mode.
It Shows no Signal(Tower)
in Manual mode If i search for Network,
It Shows
AIRCEL 3G tower. but I can't Register to this AIRCEL 3G tower in WCDMA-only-Manual mode.
It says "Can't Register to the Network Right Now"
Please Help me! I will send whatever details u asks about my phone.
I sent my device to service center once for this issue. They said repair done. but I'm still facing same problem( They changed my IMEI !!! , but still same phone/screen with my screen guard)
If I contact them now, they r not responding properly.

Last Day I have fought with my Q800+SIM to found that its a 3G fault with network. not with HW device.
When i sent a msg to AIRCEL START 3G to 121. they sending me msg that 3G activated already. but they have not activated in real.
I used my 3G/4G dongle AIRTEL SIM in WCDMA only. it worked fine, later I discussed with AIrcel and confirmed that 3G not activated yet on My SIM.

I also inserted the same Aircel sim in first slot and Vodafone in the second sim slot. Even Vodafone sim is not working in second sim slot. :/

I have also same issue with my Xolo Q800.
Mobile data is not at all working in my mobile. No 2G, no 3G.
I sent an email to customer care. They said format the mobile to factory settings. I did it but still same issue.

Hi, I could resolve it by rooting (yes). I have rooted and and upgraded to 4.2.1.
Even now I am having a custom ROM. No issues for me. In face now both the SIM slots have 3G feature.

Alright, so here's the problem:
I've had my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge for around 4months now, having no problems with it what-so-ever.
The other day (Tuesday) having waking up, my mobile wasn't able to send or receive phone calls or SMS messages, but it was still connected to my providers internet.
I can still browse the web using my provider, giffgaff, under 4G internet but when I try to send a text or phone anyone it says: "Not registered on Network".
I've contacted my network provider and they are adamant it's nothing to do with my network, also tried my sim in another phone and it works.
Now, I checked my IMEI and it was unblocked.
Tried rooting, factory resetting my phone and putting different roms on, nothing seems to be working. My internet still works on my phone, just my network is unable to connect.
When I manually search for network I find: Vodaphone, O2, EE, 3 Network. Having tried to load it up on O2 (Giffgaff uses O2 and my network provider asked me to do so) it says it's unable to connect.
I'm just wondering, is there anyway to resolve this?
Also, my signal bar is full, and the local reception for my Network is "excellent".
Hello, i've been having the same problem and couldn't resolve this with my network provider aswell i can get connected to the network but soon as it registers to 3g it kicks me of my network operator the only temp fix i could find was go to settings, mobile networks, network mode, gsm only, then register to network to receive and send calls and texts, i've tryed everything and it's the only thing i can suggest as a temp fix .:good:

My APN internet works on the setting you're saying but I'm still unable to connect to my Network Operator?
So I've been unlocked on Sprint galaxy s8 plus Sm-G955U and switched to MetroPCS. I flashed this root firmware from this forum for root. https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...root-g955u-g955u1-snapdragon-sampwnd-t3658911 . Did the mps code. My service was working had to reset my network many times but I had service. Now for about three days I get emergency calls only in top left corner . I try to make a call and it says not registered to network. I have signal bars . My number reads. My sim is working in different phone. I checked my imei number it's original. I tried air plane mode , LTE to 3g/2g, checked a website to to see I was blacklisted it was clean. I switched firmwares. My voicemail pops up when I insert my card but I can't call it. Tried MetroPCS US LTE and MetroPCS apn can't connect to t mobile network operators. I'm lost. Is there a repair network for this device? Does anyone know how to get my MetroPCS service working again or why it's saying emergency calls only and I can't register to a network? Please help. If reflashing the firmware didn't help, you may need to search for someone to use a box to repair your network. A quick Google search showed me that there are options available. Just search "repair network SM-G955U"

Hi everyone, I recently bought an used S8+ (G955F). The seller didn't say it had any problems. I happily went home, inserted my sim card and turned on the phone. Entered the pin code. Then it all went downhill really fast. I will list my observations here (tried with multiple sim cards from different carriers, same stuff every time):
Signal - 1/4 bars when out of the city, 4/4 when in the city.
When sim is inserted and the phone is turned on pin code is required.
When trying to call anyone, Not registered on network error is shown.
When trying to send an sms to anyone, "Currently unable to send your message . It will be sent when the service becomes available" error is shown.
When pressing Select network operator automatically in network settings, "Unable to connect. Try later" error is shown.
When pressing Select manually, "Error while searching for networks" error is shown.
Internet not working as well.
At first I thought it was a demo phone, checked IMEI and baseband version - they were there, so I think it isn't a demo phone.
Could you guys help me out in troubleshooting this device? Could that be a software or hardware problem? Any help will be appreciated <3

MM#6 error is present.
However, I checked imei.info and imei24, the phone is not blacklisted on both. Also it shows as unlocked. What is going on

Hi,
I purchased a USED Galaxy A7 2018 dual sim F variant. When I first inserted my SIM card, it was working fine. 4G and calls, all were working.
But after I factory resat it, mobile network stopped working or even detecting. SIM card is still detected and I can see it in "connections" under SIM cards in settings app on my phone. But when I try to dial a number it says "not registered on network". On lock screen, it says emergency calls only. When I go to "mobile networks" in settings app and tap to select network automatically or manually, it gives error that unable to find/connect to a network.
I tried three different sim cards yet same thing happens. SIM cards work just fine in other phones. Also, it is not a problem with sim tray on phone as sim card is detected and shown and as I said before, mobile network was working fine before resetting the phone.
When I purchased it, there was a custom ROM installed on it and OEM Unlocking was ON. I installed latest stock ROM from Samsung plus a couple of stock ROMS but same thing happens with every ROM.
I am out of ideas on what should I do now. I would really appreciate any help anyone can give.
