Hi guys, I just saw this post on the r/AmazfitBip subreddit. Apparently, there is a whole community dedicated to the Bip and custom application development, here is the thread. It's in Russian.
Does anyone have any info on app development?

Hi Guys:
I would like to know where can I find the Archos API. I saw something like archos.permission.FULLSCREEN.FULL but I have no idea where it is coming from. Thanks a lot!
Moved to general as not android development
I am developing my first app, a soundboard, and I would like to offer my users the ability to set those sounds as ringtones. If anyone knows how this is done or a tutorial, code example, I would appreciate it.
Thank you in advance.
Also I apologize if this question is not for the development section.

Moving to Q&A
I know I'm not supposed to ask questions here, but it is a development question, whereas all the questions in the Q&A are regarding people's personal phones/issues. Hopefully this is appropriate:
I love the way the new G+ app presents information on cards, and especially the scrolling (the way it slides the cards up and the ones below it quickly flip up and follow it, etc).
Now lets say I wanted to make a separate app that presents information in the same way; for sake of an example: Lets say I wanted to present facebook posts in the same visual card style that is used in G+ app. Is the source code for the G+ app available/obtainable, and can it be changed around to perform such a task?
Sorry for the newbie question.. I'm just getting into programming (starting with java courses)..
Even though it's a question about development, all questions should be in Q&A forums. As per forum rules only development releases should be posted in development forums.
Thread moved.
Hello,
First let me start off by saying: I was directed here by several "tech" friends of mine concerning this issue, and directly to this sub-forum when I asked where I should post the question. So if I have erred and this question/thread does not belong in this sub-forum, I apologize. There are so many forums and sub-forums it is a bit confusing.
Secondly:
Is it possible to customize the installed Android version? Like themes, icons etc? I know you can change the wallpaper but what can a user change? Is there someplace I can go to read about it?
Thirdly and lastly:
edit
Nevermind, I have solved my "third" issue. Should I include what I did for references to others? Is that allowed?
If any other information is required, I will happily provide it!
Thank you for looking, and for any and all help.
Hello Everyone,
Let me start out by saying if this is the wrong forum please feel free to relocate this post.
I have a general question about fixing a broken Android App. SkyWatcher USA makes an app for Android for the Astronomy buffs. Many of the telescope manufacturers use a controller called SynScan that allows "Go-To" operation of the telescope mount. Many also have either built-in WiFi or sell an adapter that allows you to "tether" your scope to your Android device. This allows many 3rd party planetarium apps to control the scope's computerized mount. SkyWatcher's app is called SynScan Pro.
One of the app's features is getting GPS location data from the device. Since the introduction of Android 12 that feature is broken. I was thinking I've been waiting for months for an update that will restore the ability to use the location sensor in my device but it isn't available yet. Currently if you enable use of the location sensor the app crashes.
My question is how does one with little app building experience find good info on how to fix this broken function and bring the app up to Android 12.
Thanks
