I downloaded version Samsung's Link to Windows Service 1.0.52.30 from apkmirror but shows it require an update and I can't connect to server.
I found a better alternative. Samsung Flow is does the same thing and you can even do wireless mirroring ! Amazing.
Get the version from play store or galaxy store

I'm testing my new DD-WRT PPTP router and I would like to see if I can download any market apps specific to US only, while located in Canada. My Google account country is United States and I can view fine all Netflix videos available only for US, on my tablet. I also did a movie purchase on Google Videos, downloading as we speak. So far so good...
Can you name few free US only apps that are not installed by default in a 10.1 Tab? For example, Amazon Kindle is not installed on my vanilla 3.1 Honeycomb but is available for download in the Market. I install it fine... I want to test if the US apps install properly on my hacked network. Thanks for your help.
I think I got a winner... The Google TV Remote app is for Google TV, which is available only in States. I can install the app fine on the Tab, but not on my Galaxy S2 which is a Canadian device.

Looking to buy a offline GPS app for my tab. Downloaded the trial of Sygic and it works great, but the companies main website has been down for days, and you have to buy the app from their website. So now I am looking for an alternative
co-pilot 8 looks good, but has many bad reviews for outdated maps. Does anyone here use it? What is it like? Work well on the 10.1? ALK website shows compatibility with the original galaxy tab but not the 10.1. Any infor would be greatly appreciated

I use Rmaps+Mobile Atlas Creator to do offline map. But this did not navigate, it just only map function...
But the latest version of Mobile atlas creator has removed google map support. You can search and dl older version.

Copilot live 8 will work on 10.1, confirmed by copilot admins on twitter.
I use Sygic also, and I can vouch for it, 30 bucks is cheap and it works like a charm...
I dont understand what you mean about the website being down? It works for me, just logged in to see my license end date...

fyi, you can save google maps for off line use. Just enable the feature and the select the middle of an area and use the popup bubble to save the area.
I'm having trouble finding if this app would even work on the tablet. They are offering league pass mobile for $40 and I would really like to get it, but only if it would work on my tablet since it really isn't worth it just for my phone.

For some reason it's not showing up in the market for Honeycomb devices. I emailed NBA Digital, and they gave me a "no answer answer." I'll try to dig up an .apk

the app is a sprint based app and is not available for wifi tab only a sprint tab since nba is in contract with the nba. you are better off trying to go to the league pass site through your tablet than searching the market, or maybe possibly just watching it through your tablets browswer

I'm looking to buy the "Scroll extreme" android tablet (from eBuyer) - it has ICS but it DOESNT have the marketplace (apparently it has to be licences by Google so it probably helps reduce the cost by not providing it)
I've heard that Marketplace can be installed using an APK download however, I dont know if anyone has actually tried or if its just an assumption.
Does anyone know if Marketplace can be installed on such a device and will it work OK?
I've read another (unrelated) post somewhere that implied it might not allow you to log in if the device is not registered - although its possible I just misinterpreted that.

Usually on non licensed tablets with stock rom, google market doesn't work. But acording to some forums the Scroll Extreme does come with google play, but it's hidden.
"You can access play store straight away out of the box. Just use search, type play and you will see the Play Store. Click that and you're there.
I used ESFilemanager to locate the Play Store then created a shortcut, so I have it on the desktop."

Sorry for digging up and old post, but I was wondering if there was an answer to the original question in this thread. Is there a way to get google play store to work on unlicensed devices?
I recently purchased an Ematic Multi-Touch 7", and noticed it didn't have the play store. After transferring the apk through usb and installing it, I found that the app worked for a moment before shutting down with the message "Unfortunately, Google Play Store has stopped." After searching around a bit, I found out about the nature of the licensing issues, but no real solutions. I suppose I could try and find all of the apps I would normally want to use and side load them, but it would be nice to be able to avoid that and use the play store proper.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I thank you for your time and consideration.
Disney+ is on a free trial in the Netherlands right now, so just for fun and curiosity really, I grabbed the APK for the Disney+ app here...

I guess it must be doing some kind of region check on my phone at launch as it just stops. Visiting the Disney+ app page on the google play store via VPN informs me that the app is incompatible with all my devices even though I have two Nvidia Shields and my Samsung Note 9 as well as a few other android devices - it's definitely running on Shields in the Netherlands as they have been shown on various web sites.
Anyone know of any jiggery pokery we can try to get this thing running on our None-Netherland devices - because we can :silly::silly::silly:

The app you linked isn't complete. It's legit (I checked the SHA-1 hash against an installed, working version of the apk and the one from Google Play are the same).
If you use a VPN provider with an IP based out of the Netherlands & Aurora, you should be able to properly install the app on a rooted device.
SAI (which Aurora uses) allows you to install split/bundled apk or extract complete bundles to archive for later.
You can't login though. The app will give you an error if you try to proceed with signing up or try to enter an existing login. I don't know much more beyond that.

Yeah seems like Disney has their uber A-Game engaged for VPN blocking too - probably why they launched the beta in a smaller market, test the load balancing and the gate-keeping all at once.

Did you check any other server? if its not working then you should go for another option like PureVPN or Cyberghost. They both are working fine.

How to install Disney + using the SAI app.
Hello everyone,
I searched for this but ddidn't find it. So forgive me if I missed it. Here is a link to get Disney + to work on a rooted android device.

There is a link in his description to all the files to download plus the SAI app. It was very easy and I've already watched two episodes of Star Wars Rebels so the app definately works. the Disney + app is split into three pieces then reassembled by SAI.
