Poco Hard brick and Questions regarding QPST AND QFIL tools - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

My PocoF1 hard bricked after running corvus rom+lawrun for 2 weeks.
No recovery, no bootloader, no led. The device does get detected by device manager as Qualcomm 9008. I took it to the service center today for EDL Flashing but this was their first time trying this particular mode and failed to flash on the first try. As of now, I have told them to keep the phone with them and to try when they get enough time.
And so i was just thinking if they can't get it working in a few days can i try to use the Qualcomm QPST OR QFIL flashing tools? Anyone have an idea?

Yes of course

I was going for this combination. Do you know the reason why this happened?

I think it is because of the lawrun kernel. A while back users were advised not to use lawrun kernel because it has some bad code.

same thing happened with me......
i was using EMUI 12 on my poco f1...suddenly it freeze and now it is dead.....how you fix your poco...plz help me..

You should flash the stock boot.img to rectify that issue, if you are sure its pretty much the problem with kernel.

Maybe borrow the boot.img from someone who owns this device, or claim warranty by going into Service Center.

Then Service Center it is. Tell them, you've installed some apps, and this is what happened. :silly:
i would either reflash the stock rom first - or if nowhere to be found - flash some other rom that fits for your device. in hope that the damaged rom part gets overwritten and so repaired
I FIXED by being intelligent im going to write a new thread and guide on how to fix this
I own a i9277, did your firmware upgrade succeed? and how did you fix your problem. hope to see your tutorial soon!

typically qhsusb = dead motherboard
are you working on this phone for someone else ?
was it a bad flash ? do you actually know how to enter the bootloader or Recovery ?

Seems symptoms of a hard brick.
Does it shows anything while charging? Animation, led, anything?

Agreed.... messed up mobo r near impossible to fix though :/ unless there are easier ways created by aftermarket devs like in Samsung tablet S or HTC HD2(The Leo Legend!)

That's sad man. May your phone rest in peace.

If it's out of warranty, try to get a refurbished logic board. I did that for my Nexus7 and it was way cheaper than a brand new one.
JTAG can do it, also you can download drivers now that you couldn't before, he needs to learn to use google, there really is no excuse for flashing the wrong ROM there are plenty of good people on here to ask like I did, I asked the question can I flash only l21 ROMs and what is kiwi and I got told what I could flash, remember friends beauty fades but stupid is forever !

Jtag is somewhat expensive.
Sent from my Galaxy Tab 3 using XDA Labs
The cheapest JTAG box I found is 150$ plus shipping and import taxes. Also there is no guarantee it will work with H5x (must have the appropriate firmware).
I would say it's safer (and probably cheaper) to get it fixed officially.

After I flashed stock rom ,I am getting this message on my phone

I somewhere watched that flashing "oppo_custom.bin" solves the problem.

can anyone share that file for realme 1 please...
Bro.. they said any kind of Oppo custom would work in both Oppo|Realme..
My only problem is i want to Flash|Write this using SP Flash Tool, but SP FlashTool giving me this error "Staus Sec Data Not Allowed", and i aint know how to fix this up..
Has anyone solved this problem using software? I have chp2021 oppo a91 same error 0x99256658. Flashtool cant write protected partition. I tried using different tool but same. It seems just using tp method will work.

This is for Realme 1 device.
If you guys are still facing issues. Then use Miracle Box method. This works perfectly. I unbricked my device thrice. One thread is also available in Realme 1 section on how to use miracle box. Beware there are some complications in using that tool.

You got to be very careful when following some YT tuts. There are many misleading ones. Also becareful while downloading files they share.
There is one YT video which most of us took as a reference to unbrick this device.

Hi there naveen,
I am really confused here,..
Please help me out..
My phone realme c2 is hard bricked meaning it shows 'download not completed' and then loops again and again.
I was thinking if I can install the oppo_custom file through only software and a usb cable. Is it possible?

Question NO IMEI WHEN FLASHING WITH GLOBAL ROM

I have an POCO X3 GT, which I flashed with global rom but now I have run out of imei and I have not been able to solve it in any way. When trying with the Chinese rom if it gives me an imei. I don't know if it will be due to some resistance or what could be done in this case?

No, this procedure no longer works for these devices, you have to use paid programs (with credits) otherwise the nv data remains corrupt.
