It would be correct to cancel that when flash from MP5 to MP6, a warning appears that you would disable any screen locks and when flash from MP6 to MQ0, you need to block the bootloader by entering the command fastboot flashing lock and wipe data/dalvik or fastboot format userdata. Otherwise, you will get stuck on MP6.
I was root before obviously bootloader must be blocked otherwise it will not work
android 10 there is no way to unlock

My bootloader had the status locked.
I was on an MQ0 ROM (not root).
After flashing from MQ0 to MP3 and going through the entire update procedure, I received a warning on MP6 that my bootloader is unlocked. I had to connect the USB cable and wipe data/dalvik to go further. Think the status of the bootloader has changed due to network data recovery settings.
I have not had this problem the message you saw in the photo is that before updating from mp6 to mq0 you must remove the lock screen password and synchronize the google account. however when you are on Android 9 with unlocked bootloader and update joyui11 with android 10 you will see the bootloader blocked, if you go back to Android 9 you will still have unlocked bootloader. the right procedure would be android 9-fastboot flashing lock-android 10 as you say it seems that mp6 works as an update bootloader filter
The message that I received contained large letters "UNLOCK" and a link to the instructions for blocking the bootloader ~ www blackshark.... rom-lock.xml.
But save the screenshot fail.
After fixing the problem, I was able to install MQ0 successfully.

I've downloaded the kernel file, successfully installed all required ADB Drivers from here and followed the instructions. Unfortunately i allways get the following error message:

I've also tried to use flashtool but get the same error message in flashtool.
Any ideas how to proceed?
allow OEM unlock option under development options
Thanks, i have no OEM unlock option allowed, still getting the same error message. Does this require an unlocked bootloader?

yes it does
Ah OK. What's the best way to backup the Xperia DRM keys before unlocking the bootloader, and how to restore them afterwards?
it's currently not possible to backup DRM-keys so you will lose them. there are kernels with DRM-fix which will restore the lost functions after unlocking
i got a problem, checked OEM unlock, deactive my xperia function, but bootloader status still "not allow", idk but when i deactive "my xperia" its not need to use my google account(not like my other Z4), i thing cause of its so bootloader cant be turned : yes

Did you buy your Xperia sim-unlocked? If not, it probably comes locked by carrier and this won't let you to unlock the bootloader.

You have to take it to service center. Once you unlock bootloader, dont relock it unless the realme flash tool is available

they will fix it with fees or no
Last night I unlocked my bootloader and installed twrp recovery but somehow my mind changed so I thought to revert back changes and i download stock recovery of Realme 5 pro from somewhere(can't remember source) and after flashing it without checking it I ran a need command "fastboot flashing lock " and after that I rebooted my device and now it shows "the current image (boot/recovery) have been destroyed and can not boot " and now I can't even boot into fastboot mode to do something to revert back it .....At last, I'm here for suggestions on how can I make my device run normally.

@Boyko99
Either boot-loader broken or Android system corrupted. Re-flash Stock ROM.
I don't know if my answer came to you so I'll rewrite it

@Boyko99
Because you avoided to name phone's brand/model in this thread's title you can't really get advised.
Anyway:
Assumed these requirements
got fulfilled, the USB-driver suitable to your phone is installed on PC,
then the basic steps to perform are
1) Unlock phone's boot-loader, if not done yet
2) flash the ROM
@jwoegerbauer
I can't start the phone so I don't know how to do it I'm stuck in twrp because if I try to turn it on it goes into a loop
@Boyko99
My POV:
This is the price that people who think they must improve (?) phone's Android, will say put up a better (?) ROM / Recovery than that what gets pre-installed by OEM/Carrier ( in their R&D department there are certainly no idiots sitting around ), pay.
@jwoegerbauer
i have a note 3 its the worts rom of all
Hi all.
I'm trying to unlock the bootloader of my 8 Flip but am having a couple of issues. First one is that there's no "OEM Unlock" option in my Dev settings. I've tried running the official unlock tool anyay, and it errors out saying "Failed to unlock your device, please try again later.[11006]"
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Solved it - Just had to turn wifi off and use mobile data and it worked
My friend has an error code when unlocking the Bootloader. Do you know why?

To root the phone
where did you buy the phone? Some vendors sell phones that cannot be rooted.
You can see it with the app CPU-Z in System section if you see bootloader : no, you can't root
I was just about to unlock the bootloader to try to dump the recovery.img and use that to create a twrp image.
But there is a big warning saying:
Before you download, install, and use the Unlock Device App (“Service”), you understand that you need to take all risks in terms of quality and performance of the Service, including but not limited to: once you trigger the Service, you’re not able to recover your ASUS products to the original status at the time of manufacturing (“Original Product”) anymore. Original Products which is used with the Service (“Changed Product”) will no longer be regarded as the Original Products. The software updates will not be available to the Changed Product, and the digital content in the Changed Product may no longer be used. (...)

Does this mean I would not get security updates and later the Android 13? I only want to get twrp to be able to root the device. but losing the OS updates would be a big no-no.
Are those who have unlocked it getting updates? Can anyone confirm this?
