I had a14 but after upgrading through OTA to C series of firmware. It just reboots and tried visiting service center i requested to downgrade or repair. But due to lockdown u dont want to give ut to them as it may take 2-3 weeks. So asking my fellow friends what to do with my device. Also current firmware is c02 which restarts less while using but on c04 it just doesnt let any app to run.. i am confused what to do now

If you are in c4 then unlock bootloader and downgrade to c3 or you can flash custom Roms if you need..check other threads
I am on c02 right now. But do i have a down side to unlockibg bootloader ?? And can i downgrade to a.14??

Unlock bootloader and downgrade to A16 or A14 .

Those people on a locked contract phone with Orange who cannot download the official Rom Update and wish to do so...
Try entering your serial number as requested by HTC and reverse the last 3 digits... this worked for me... if there are still problems and it's requested I will upload the Rom to my account on rapidshare where it will be available to all.
You might be able to download the rom. But you won't be able to install it on your phone!
Yes I am aware of this, although I wonder if this can be installed on a phone locked to Orange after the phone has been rooted and Modaco's Custom Rom 2 applied!

I'm not sure though cause I live in Malaysia (which doesn't have t-mobile network),but I would recommend u to root ur phone,cause it is better than getting an official update...

if u still want to get the official update,try changing the year to 2011 (or above) and the phone will force to check updates
(warning: once u update to the official one,u can't root ur phone anymore)

Hey guys me and my partner recently got S3's mines luckly enough was factory unlocked none branded/bloatware ect anyhow hers is and even worse in a orange handset and as we are aware here at xda the orange handsets dont have the software update function thnks to crappy orange...iknow ppl have attempted to return there phones and demand a unbranded but becuz i purchased her fone from someone who didnt want it as it was a free unwanted upgrade iknow i can't complain to orange i in there eyes am not the owner lol or i should say the original owner...anyways iknow theres ways to flas roms and i was thinking of attemping of flashing the unbranded uk offical rom same as is on my phone but i have big questions b4 i go ahead...do i use odin to flash?
and finally will her s3 finally be able to download updates from samsung thru the software update function ok?

First root the locked device with CF Root using Odin (see my signature item 1) than unlock the phone with Voodoo Sim unlock tool in Playstore, after it is unlocked flash this fix with cwm recovery from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1802951.
-Edit- It seems voodoo Sim unlock tool is temporarily removed from Playstore, keep an eye on it though, it will be back because it is beeing updated for newer firmwares.
For now call your provider and ask for the sim unlocking key.
You can also unlock your phone here http://www.sammobile.com/unlock/index.php?phone=I9300 , it costs 15 euro (creditcard or paypal) and you need to be rooted before the unlock.
This is for T-Mobile version Oreo
Must have latest Oreo firmware installed.
Flash in recovery with latest twrp.
Changes=bootanimation added multi user and edge launcher.
Rooted with superSu and comes with busybox.
May be some more I forgot.
Bugs=none that I've found.
This is just the beginning others are in works to make more custom roms so enjoy this till they upload.

I have purchased on ebay Htc u11 life tmobile network locked, i talked to tmobile and they said u have to use their sim for 40 days than they will send unlock app otherwise no solution, i contacted cellunlocker.com and they sent code although code isnt required for such oreo models , i took matter in my hand and installed twrp and unlocked the boot loader , now what can i do to unlock network , SOFF position anyone have idea what steps shouild i take , weather The Dark Night V3 (The S Life works ??

I did the following
buy an unlock code on the internet not from ebay, I cost 8 dollars... I put an unlocked rom of the same cid ... when you ask you put the code you bought and unlock it.
on tmobile they never know ****
PS: At the moment I'm looking for a rom to be able to use it since the software went away and I deleted all the files
Dont buy unlock code, its useless as the cell will unlock with app only and u wont be

DONT BUY UNLOCK CODE HTC U11 LIFE runs oreo and only unlock by app and wont promt for enter unlocks
Hey guys, i've come across some bugs while installing the RMX1921EX_11_C.02 version from the Indian site to my phone and i would like some clarifications or help if someone faced those and overcame them.
- To begin with let me start by saying that I bought a global Realme XT with the firmware being RMX1921EX_11_A.05.
- I then managed to brick cyclops the device by trying to install RMX1921EX_11_A.10. Phone wouldn't boot, stuck on the Realme black/white logo.
- I managed to install RMX1921EX_11_A.06 through recovery and sd card.
- Then I downloaded from the Indian support site and installed through file manager the version RMX1921EX_11_C.02.
Now, on this version everything seems to work ok minus some bugs:
- Phone gets a bit laggy sometimes
- Brightness in automatic mode is not working
- Software update through settings won't work. Crashes a while after opening
- Battery life seems affected, won't last anyway near to what it was on RMX1921EX_11_A.05
So my question is, has anyone experienced any of those and found a solution to the bugs?
Also, is there anyway to obtain and roll back to the original stock rom RMX1921EX_11_A.05 from the beginning and then wait for the official OTA update?

Are you sure your phone firmware is RMX1921EX_11_A.05. (India version) not RMX1921EUEX (global version)?
If your firmware is India version, you should be able to unlock the bootloader and install twrp.

Yes, absolutely sure but im confused as RMX1921EX_11_A.05. is supposed to India version which my phone had but then the place i bought it was advertised as the global version and also i didn't receive the official ota update through the phone's update settings (and supposedly having the indian version). Seriously, realme's firmware naming and distribution is so confusing and impractical. but let's say i indee have the indian version, what does unlocking the bootloader and installing twrp mean? how will that help me and are there any cons into doing that? My XT is was some as the global version. But from what I'm reading this says I'm using the Indian version? But I have NFC. This is so confusing. Bought this phone thinking I could unlock and root.
This confusing but normal. I bought two EU phones with NFC. One for me and one for my girlfriend. She is still on RMX1921EX_11_A.05.
I updatet my Phone to A.06 and when i look in phonedetails is called RMX1921EX_11_A.06.
I read that A.05 can be unlocked in the other thread. I would test this by myself, but yeah i don't want drama with my girlsfriends phone.
So i don't touch it

India version comes with no NFC. You can try Depth test apk , it won't hurt your phone even you pass it. Let us know if your global version can pass it or not.
