Can anyone recommend a document scanning app that can work with a wifi printer/scanner, and has the option of saving to a shared folder?
I want to be able to initiate document scanning from app, have the printer scan the documents, and save it all to a shared folder on pc.
Closest I found is Mopria scan, but it only saves to device, not to a shared folder.

Hi,
I have a ton of mp3 folders neatly organized on my GS2 and sometimes when I have people over I´d like to simply share a playlist that I´ve created on a folder. Is there an app that lets me do that? So far I´ve only found apps that allow you share files by manually selecting each file...which would mean having to select each song one after the last one ended.
WiFi File explorer lets you share any number of files/folders. You just type an IP address in any browser window.
Hi There!
I am trying to locate something I can run on my tablet, phone and PC that I can copy and paste urls, pictures, etc, and instantly have it available on my other devices.
Kind of like a shared live clipboard, that can be set to only sync via WiFi (or 3G).
Thanks.
Dropbox can do this. I don't know about URLs but I think it might support it.
Anyone know a ftp server or any other protocol, that you can share a direct link to the file? Awesome if they already generate the qrcode. If not it's ok too.
I know that can be made manually: I start the server, browse in my own files through ftp, grab the link, make a qrcode to this link and them show to the other android. A very long history.
The perfect history is: 'share to' > that-app-Im-searching (they start the ftp server and generate the qrcode) > show the code to the other Android. After the transfer I can manually stop the ftp server or they auto disable when the connection is closed.
My idea is use WiFi (tether or direct) to *push/beam* files to the other phone, like Bluetooth, but faster, without NFC enabled phones or proprietary WiFi share app from Samsung, that not work/have in mostly other phones.

Hi,
is there an app for android that can add (pre-defined) metadata to a pdf file. pre-defined means i create a set of tags and only that tags can be used. I want to "scan" documents on the way, sync them to the local network and then sort the documents to the according sub-folder on my computer automatically using the tags.
this can't be done with apps like camscanner. here i can create tags, but that are not the pdf metadata, thats something saved in the app, not the pdf file.

I'm looking for an app that you can share media to and it saves it on your device, I need an app like this so I can save videos from apps like skype (which has its own gallery that you only can access online and you can't normally save locally) so I can save them to my device, I have tried to find a directory that saves media with a root file manager but I can't find anything
