Hi everyone. I searched but couldn't find an answer so hopefully someone here knows the answer.
For example - I'd like to be able to launch the QSlide version of the phone dialer directly from the floating bar. So far I can only launch directly from home touch buttons (or when in the app directly).
It's this possible?

I'm talking with an app developer about adding the feature of hiding the Notification Bar while in his app. Specifically, to allow it to display only when the center of the tablet is pressed a la the Gallery app. He told me that this was not possible because Google disallows it, but I swear I've seen it done in other apps. Go Launcher and Cyanogenmod both include a similar option to show/hide the NB by swiping up/down thus extending the range of the desktop to the whole screen. It must be possible then, right? Does it just require root access?
Edit: I've also seen the Cyanogenmod team add the same swipe-hide feature to the stock browser.
Hello
I'm looking for an app for android that can not find.
I have android 4.2.2 with root and I want to remove the bottom bar of buttons (Home, apps in process and back button)
I have installed full!screen ( http://goo.gl/T12Ko ) and is perfect, the problem is that it also removes the top bar notifications.
In the settings you can set a button to display the notifications but I want to remove the bottom bar and have always seen the top bar.
There any app that does this?
Thank you very much to all
Regards
I recently switched over from iOS and loving the android so far but there are a couple of issues I'm having trouble with.
I was wondering how can I go about adding a quick scroll to top of the page feature/gesture with 4.3? iOS was just a simple tap to the top of the page.
I do miss my notification center, my notifications are coming at the top of the screen and then I have to slide down to open them. Is there any app that would show the notifications in iOS like format? I would like to be able to swipe directly into the app without hitting the slide down menu.
What program is recommended to use for controlling music? I'm using a S4 device.
Thanks in advance!
Basically what the title said, I wanted to add the mobile hotspot widget to the floating bar so I can just toggle it on/off without opening the app. Any one know if/how this can be done?
Doesn't look like it can be done. You can't even add one of the app shortcuts that appears when you long press an app icon on your home screen. I'm still trying to figure out what apps I'd actually throw in there as I already have the icons for my most used apps on my home screen.
Coming from a V20, I'm familiar with the content that was accessible via the 2nd screen. (I had BoredSigns installed as well, but I don't expect that additional functionality on the V30... yet)
I was surprised to see that you can't have the same shortcuts (like the flashlight, for instance) on the floating bar. Or any shortcuts, for that matter, other than the few they recommend like "take a selfie" and "new memo." You can't even have the same app shortcuts that you get from long-pressing on certain items. They're all just literally shortcuts to open an app that you might as well have on a homescreen anyway. Am I wrong?
Is there any development planned on the floating bar? I understand the floating bar has been ported to an app so any phone can use it... so my next logical question is if there are any BETTER 3rd party apps that I might as well install and use instead of the stock V30 floating bar app.
The same shortcuts from the 2nd screen are on the always-on display shortcuts... but the problem with that is that you can't get to them when the phone is on, as well as the fact that while I have to AOD disabled during the nighttime hours... that's often when I need a flashlight (logical, right?).
Any help? Thanks
