[Q] Internal SD card not accessible on RESURRECTION REMIX 1.8.1

Hi there!
I just switched from litening rom 2.7 with siyah 3.1.2 kernel to the newest version of ressurection remix rom 1.8.1. I did factory reset and all the cache wipes. All is working well and I must say that this is the best rom i've had so far...
Apart from the fact that my internal SD is not recognized (I don't have an external SD card). The internal SD is available in recovery mode, so i tried flashing the siyah kernel that was still on there. This didn't help. I have been searching in the FAQ but i seem to be the only one with this problem?
Does somebody have a solution?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the quick reply but that thread is not applicable to my situation.
I am having trouble accessing the internal memory of my s2, NOT the external SD (which I don't have). This total of 16 GB is divided in a partition for the operating system and apps on one side, and a partition for data (around 11 GB) on the other side. I can't access this last partition for some kind of reason..
I tried flashing other kernel and flashing the whole ROM again (with al wipes en factory reset)
Any suggestions?

If u go to Mnt/sdcard what do u see?
Using XDA Premium over Resurrection Remix ICS, the Best Rom ever made
just change the connection mode.
Settings - Storage Size - Clic on Menu Button - PC Connection - And select the one that you want
Thank you for your responses.
If i go to Mnt/sdcard it says "this folder is empty"
My internal SD can't be empty cause I just flashed the Ressurection ROM from it.
Changing the settings doesn't solve anything.

Internal storage issues on lollipop soak test

Hey guyss.. I have a problem. I flashed soak test ota zip via twrp recovery..now when i install any app, it consumes a lot of space in the internal memory.. For ex if i have 400 mb used after installing lollipop ota, nd if i flash super su zip then it consumes around 60 to 70 mb of internal memory.. Moreover if i try moving apps to sd card only a part of it is transferred.. Like if i move a 40 mb app to sd card 20-25 mb goes to sd card nd rest is in internal memory. I just want to ask that whether it is a bug or somethng, cuz it never happens on cyanogenmod 12.. Plzz help..

try to reset your phone ( to delete all kitkat unused or leftover files as when i flash lollipop ota i got 1.43gb free space )and as lollipop uses ART runtime instead of dalvik which uses more space for app installation as byte code is compiled at installation time and not at runtime as dalvik runtime for more info please refer to this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/general/dedicated-runtime-thread-art-vs-dalvik-t2516646

I heard at the nexus 4 forums that wiping cache and reset via stock recovery solves the issue.. Will try it today.. Thankss for ur help buddy
same issue
I am having this exact same issue. I flashed the soak test rom and i have factory reset my phone for like six or seven times. Still the low storage issue comes up eventually. Also the first reboot after factory reset after lollipop has never been successful. It gets stuck on the M logo and eventually i end up long press power button. After that it boots fine.
My issue is that internal storage keeps getting low and lower. When i reset i had 540 mb and now with exact same apps is around 180 mb. Which repels any app update due to insufficient storage. Junk cleaner Doesn't helps much. To keep off the constant low storage notification i am forced 5o manually delete data from messenger app from facebook which is always around 50mb. Damn i am pissed on lollipop.. i wish i could roll back but that process is way too complicated and also i am addicted to the lock screen notifications and oter features of lollipop.. so any substantial help would be greatly appreciated.
Its because of the cache on art
If you wipe the cache you will get some free space but that space will again fill up as and when you start using the apps.
So instead of freeing some space if you are rooted get link2sd or use xinternalsd with xposed otherwise switch to kitkat.

[Q] SDcard swap issue

Hi everyone,
I'm getting a very annoying issue on my Wiko Cink Five (clone of the MMX A116) when I'm flashing a new ROM : the memories are swapped directly after flashing any ROM without having the swap memory file applied. I was running 4.4.4 [CM11][PORT][UNOFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 11 For Canvas HD V0.1 - NxtGen when I decided to go back to a stable OS (for HW decoding/video recording issues) so I flashed this one : [ KitKat 4.4.2 ] ROM for Micromax A116 [UNOFFICIAL]
In the first ROM (CM11) there was the swap applied by default in the package of the ROM and I knew the swap was actually in. In the oldest versions of the CM11 ROM (before the "nextgen v 0.1) the swapp wasn't included and i swapped the memories with the memory swap for CM11. When I flashed the new stable ROM in 4.4.2 (without swap in it) after total reset ("clean to install a new ROM" option in Philz recovery), I found that the internal memory was recognized as the SD card and inversement. I was using Solid Explorer and it showed me my sdcard content instead of the internal memory content at /storage/sdcard0, which is not normal because no swap was applied. I pulled back the SD card and rebooted the phone and in settings/storage there was for only choice of storage the SD card. The internal memory wasn't mentioned anywhere. I was too unable to copy or move file from one memory to another but I was able to copy or move files on one memory. That issue made me unable to restore backups from Titanium Backup that was telling me all the time "unknown package" when trying to install apps (installing them directly from the TB saves .gz files in the SD card did work but not the data restore).
What I tried to solve the issue :
- apply the memory swap restore for CM11 on the not CM11 ROM (which was a bad idea but I tried...) ---> stuck on boot logo !
- install another ROM (the White1 4.2.1) after clean reset ---> memory still swapped !
- reflash the CM11 ROM and apply the swap restore ---> bootloop !
Then I was out of ideas...
I do not have any problems with the recovery, it shows me my SDcard when I want to backup or restore from my SDcard in /storage/sdcard1 and shows me too my internal memory at /storage/sdcard0 so no problems in recovery, the issue only comes when using a ROM...
About the kernels, i never flashed any kernel in addition of a ROM package except for the not CM11 ROM, the 4.4.2 one which was the New Hyper Kernel (link in the thread of the ROM).
I restored the CM11 ROM from a backup because this is the best working one as I don't have any of the writing issues caused by the memory swapped as she is working well with it but I'm still unable to use another ROM and so record videos, have Bluetooth and WiFi turned on together or watch HD videos...
So this is it !
I don't have much more informations to give and hope that is enough clear to understand. I'm French for those who speak French so don't expect an very good English quality, being sorry for that too.
Best regards, Hast0n.

Internal Storage Clean up

Hi,
may be a noob question, but after flashing some roms (only wipe cache/dalwik,system,data -> not internal storage)
i have now under settings > storage :
7 GO used in internal storage with Android System 5.6 Go.
Is this normal ?
Or shall i do a clean up with either factory reset or flash again a rom with this time wipe internal storage (after some data backed up) ?
Thanks for reply.
Rodolphe
5.6 + 7 Go equals 12.6 Go, you may have some junk files in your internal storage.
Backup your media and wipe your internal storage
Hi i tried it but still 5.59 for android
