Hi. I have moto g8 power (XT2041-3) RETEU channel. Im stuck on January 2020 security update. On telegram i see people haves May 2020 seurity updates (on XT2041-1).
1/ Its posibble to "convert" XT2041-3 to XT2041-1?? what are the differences between XT2041-1 and XT2041-3?? only in the countries in which they are sold or anythig else?
2/ Supports G8 power (41-1,41-3) VOLTE??

I'm on xt2041-3 but retgb (possibly because of leaving the eu), I have May's security patch, only just got the phone today and the security update came out the box

I've just discovered Lenevo's rescue and smart assistance programme on Windows, download that and plug your phone in, follow the instructions and it will flash the latest firmware available for your phone, I've just reclaimed my firmware because the old one was laggy my phone is now like new

Which Region you're living ? My Friend just brought a G6 H870DS from E Global, it has the firmware v10k-ame-xx (United Arab) and still the July Patch.
I have the DS from Taiwan (TWN), my last Updates was the 1. Otober Patch.

Taiwanese H870DS from eGlobal - I am using it in Slovakia - still on V10m (-TWN-XX) with October security patch ... Both Update center and LG Bridge show that my phone is up to date.

These update packages should work on TA-1007, TA-1029 and TA-1035.
Usage:
Confirm your current version by dialing *#*#227#*#* before update.
Then download the package and rename to the specific filename I gave, place it to root directory of internal storage and dial *#*#874#*#* to update.
After the update procedure completed, update package will be deleted from your phone automatically.

Yes it's possible.
You can find the exact firmware build version with any text editor in firmware-update/fver .
If this is a full OTA instead of differed OTA, you only need to specify target firmware build version in file name.
For example, you need to rename Oreo beta package to
E1M-115M-0-00WW-B01-update.zip
Then put it to root directory and dial *#*#874#*#* to update.
Speaking of that, have you got the Oreo beta dl? I'm using a Nokia 2 prototype that can't join Beta Labs.

Does the files in first post are the same for all nokia 2 models ? Does anybody test it on TA-1007? I have Nokia 2 TA-1007 and want to have a fw archive just in case of bricking. Which firmware is needed to flash files without loosing the warranty ? I don't want to root. I want just to have stock firmware and way to recover it if newer version is corrupted or buggy. I am noob. Sorry for stupid questions. Nokia tech support don't answer my questions.

I would like to upgrade my Nokia 2 TA-1029 to Android 8.1
For now I have latest 7.1.1 with November 2019 security update.
As instruction said I copied Android 8.1 (September) file and rename it. Then it's loaded in root directory of phone memory.
In dialer I use dial code *#*#874#*#* but nothing is happened...
Any help here, please?

Hi. I am in trouble. Please help.
I downloaded the update zip file and applied it through sd card from recovery menu. This update stuck at 72% and gave some error.
Now the phone automatically goes to recovery mode when turned on. I have restored it as well but still not fixed.
If you can provide me the latest working OTA update zip file so that I can fix the problem. Or if there is any other solution then please let me know.

Doesn't matter what security update you have when rooting. While waiting for a root method it will be universal for all security patches and also for android 11 update
I am aware that the motorola g power 2020 version is receiving the android 11 update but is the 2021 version going to get updated as well and if so, when? any info?
I got the update for the motorola g8 power on Monday, I've purchased the phone in Europe in the 2020.

I just got Moto G Power 2020 (US retail) and was wondering how do I check what the latest security update is for A10? If I go to updates in settings, the only update available is upgrade to A11 which I don't want at all due to negative feedback.

Moto is usually 2-4 months behind on security updates even on new devices.
