Is anybody using this case? Comments about it?
Thx.
I use the PDAir case.
I chose it over other flip cases because the TD2 does not reach the outer edge of case. Since the phone fits 'recessed' into the case if you drop it (and it hits the surface on it's edge) the leather will cushion the impact.
Other cases leave the edge around the phone exposed in a fashion that would allow the impact to be taken directly by the phone...even though it is in the case.
Hi,
I'm trying to find a cover for my Zpad. I find the leather covers to be a bit bulky while I use the tablet around the house. I was wondering if any of the leather / fake leather covers have the option of detaching the top / front section so I would only be using the tablet harness?
Thanks,
MD
i searched all the net websites i could, but couldn't find a leather case flip type with a belt clip, i found regular leather case with belt clip but not flip type of book type with a belt clip
I'm also looking for a holster, but a vertical one for the naked device. I will update if I find one that would suit your needs.
Sent from my Xperia Z Ultra using Tapatalk 4
any luck finding some type of belt clip or case that slides into a belt clip ???
http://www.ebay.com/itm/130973109604?var=430185201144&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
I got the above holster made for the Galaxy Mega 6.3. The ZU is a tad less wide than the width of the holster. So I put a few layers of gaffer's tape at the holding arms which then holds the ZU firmly in place. It's a sturdy holster, holds the ZU well, and price is cheap. I've looked everywhere and can't find a holster for ZU. PDAir makes leather sideways pouch holster for ZU but it's $40 and bulkier.
image from ebay, I only used the holster, not the case:
Mine from Brando is a leather case comes with belt clip.

why glue something on a case ( that will eventually the glue will fail on )
When you can buy a case & belt clip from the link I shared ???
You don't even have to use the case provided , I use the belt clip with my
Incipio DualPro SHINE case I have on my phone .
Well it depends on what tipe of glue you use I use set glue and it bonds very well.
There are two Otterbox cases
And see here
https://www.otterbox.com/en-us/surface-duo
What other options are there?
Small Kindle pouch is a good short term alternative
I have the Otterbox Ocity Sleeve and I really like it. Very sleek and form fitted. It has rounded edges and is very thin. I can fit the Duo in my front pockets with this sleeve. I am using the bumper also, which makes it a little harder to remove the Duo from the sleeve. Because of the grip of the rubber. Jury is still out on whether I'll keep using the bumper.
Noreve cases

A good value pouch option.

Now with an image
I have an Otterbox Ocity case that is brand new that I am not using. It has a pen holder attached which perfectly fits the slim pen. Pm me if interested.
Is there a good non-pouch cover, more like a book cover?

FYI this case sucked...prevents DUO from folding completely open, which kinda defeats the purpose.
Hi,
Got the Surface Duo.
Looks like it is difficult to find either a "cover" that will allow to use it as is and not a pouch :-(
I think given the configuration of the device a "skin" will be the way to go.
Regards.
I currently have the Samsung book case for the tab s7+. I am having issues with the s pen coming loose and falling off. The book case with the tab s6 had a flap on the top back of the case that would cover the s pen so it couldn't fall off. The book case for the s7+ does not have this. Does anybody know of a case for the tab s7+ that does hold the s pen in place?

I like the supcase unicorn beetle. Not a book case though
I picked up a TiMOVO case from Amazon. It has elastic that holds the s pen in place. It feels a little more bulky than the book cover case but not to bad.
Spigen recently released (in the last month or so) a new book case. I think it's superior to Samsung's own book case. Offers a trifold front cover that can be folded back and also a spot to mount the s pen in the designated area on the back of the tablet. Link below if you're interested. I picked it up and it's been great.

Why don't you put the s-pen in the spot on the spine of the book cover? Mine has never fallen out when the case is closed. Everyone complains that their book cover doesn't hold the s-pen in place during transport when they leave it on the back even though the slot on the spine is completely protected. The only problem is that it doesn't charge there.
I got mine from Best buy Canada, Tucano brand, no magnet crap to mess up my S Pen, the only one that has no Smart cover thing.
Perfect protection of the pen.
Actually, so good that I had trouble getting the pen out so I cut off a few mm to make it easier

Infiland case - great quality, reasonable price:

Take a look at the Fintie line of cases on Amazon. I've got one for the S7 and S5e, both look and feel great. I don't have actual experience with the one for the S7+ though.

Old thread, but I wanted to say I bought this one, too, and it is outstanding. Not much bulk, great protection, and the pen stays put.
I have both the original Keyboard Case and Book Cover Case. Been rocking the Keyboard case about 95% of the time. Its aweome, and I use my tablet for a lot of productivity, so its nice to have quick acess to keyboard. The pen is stored on the back, like it was on tab S6 Book cover.
On the book cover its stored inside the case. Also convenient.

This is the Poetic TurtleSkin. It's fat and rubbery but not sticky. I got it for less that $20. I had to get used to it but now I can say I'd buy it again. I also have the genuine book cover wich is well made but overpriced. And dealing with the pen seems like it was an afterthought.
The Spigen one runs for several inches along the back, and holds the s Pen firmly. Mine has never come loose.
