So i like the default android sistem more than the stock rom of sxs.
So i ve installed fxp 130 and yesterday fxp 131, and some bugs are also on the new update
Some bugs:
- when i download a file with the hdmi the file appears to be broken but when i restart my phone the file work and i don t recive no error
-all sms that have more than 160 chars will give u and error so you are limited to only 160 chars per sms and after u have to make another sms
- if u like to write a sms like you do it in a chat( like more sms in 10 seconds) u ll be surpised because u ll recive an error something like "the message was not sent", so the only thing that u have to make to evoid this error is to wait that the last sms was sent and after you could send another sms
- if u write a sms that has more than 160 chars the person that u ve send the message will recive only a part from the message
- if u close and open the screen i think because the animation the screen in will freeze but only when u are in the menu with apps or in an app..i recoomend u to disable the animation( when u wake the screen) or juzt wait and maybe the screen will be ok in some minutes
- for example if u are in a app and u close the screen and open..u ll have above the app a pic with the lockscreen...just close the screen and open it again to be ok..maybe the phone in this stage will freeze again like i ve said above
- dont know if this an error that all custom roms have but for example when i try to send a message using whatsapp the messsage will be send in 10- 30 mins
- also the screen is not that bright like before( i think it s because.we don t have bravia engine)
- i think that my phone is kinda slower now.when i copy new files on it using usb, the average speed is kinda 900kbs- 1 mbps and for 1 gb i have to wait kinda 1 hour and it s kinda to much of course!
- the batter is not that good but i recoomand u to close the data at night( u also have a profile for.that)
- sometimes the game freezes or ar working like they have low fps
- when u open the camera u have to refocus with it because if u let the camera to autofocus for the first time the pic will be blurry( u just have to tap the screen to refocus)
Good things:
- it s fast
- fast camera( the autofocus it s alot faster.than the stock app)
- it s simple to use
- very good music player and rich with features
- u can customize it very easy
- 300 mb-400 b free of ram( this.is amount that i have in generaly)
- doesn t have useless apps
-good looking
- battery procentage
- torch
- notification led now works
- all basic stuff works .
I ve made this topic because is easy to look here than to read 30 pages tto search the bugs and the working things. Also sorry if if has mistakes but i ve writen it on my phone and.that s why, hope u understand it and if i discover another bug i' ll update the topic..

I haven't noticed any difference in screen brightness, Bravia engine only applies to pics and videos
USB transfer seems about the same as before to me, Phone itself definitely not slower
My battery is now way better than it was on stock
I don't play games on my phone so don't know about that one
My camera focus is fine,
Only things I've noticed so far is the HDMI not working, No Bravia engine, no Xloud, No camera Quicklaunch thing and no way to turn camer shutter sound off, Otherwise this ROM is awesome

Just try to open and close the display more.times than usual and the screen will freeze..not the launcher..it wil freeze in menu( with apps) or when ur in app.
It think that the problem.is that the screen doezn t redraw.
I dont know what to say about hdmi becauss i don t use one..but i ve seen alot of people.that have this problem
Also the whatsapp problem others does have it
If ur a "hard-user" u'll notice this kind of errors

Locked unlocked about 20 times in quick succession, same with an app, opened and closed about 20 times and still no freezing, Although I have seen the redraw bug mentioned quite a few times, I just cant recreate it.
I don't use the HDMI either so no biggy for me aswell really.
Still no problems with whatsapp aswell, the only times messages I have sent have taken a while to go through is when the receiving person hasn't had a data connection, But as soon as they get one the message comes through for them. I remember a couple of years ago whatsapp would quite often take ages to send messages but I haven't noticed it for ages.
hmm..maybe ur a lucky one..but this redraw problem has affected alot of people(mayne not all).

and regarded to whatsapp...don't know why..mine doesn't work very good , it works but not always.
hope they will fix the REDRAWIng bug in the next release..because I hate to restart my phone sometimes once in a 10 mins.
For the so called redraw bug, try modifying the build.prop file inserting at the end the following line:
ro.HOME_APP_ADJ=1
This will give the launcher the highest priority and the system will not close it when some ram is needed. This worked great on my miui!

Root Explorer is maybe the best app. ES File Explorer is also good and can edit files in the system directory. Of course you need root permissions.

what? what are you talking about? the battery is the main problem that I faced! I could only use 12hours with 3G on with stock it goes to 18hours to be honest!

Ive add to the end of file what you said..hope it resolves the problem..If yes or not I'll tell you, I've edited with astro file manager because with ES FE I could not find the system folder.

For me battery life is the same with stock. After flashed successfully, i had wiped battery stats in advanced option

I think that BAttery Calibration should do that to.. I 'll try it when I ll go home . (the app) because it erase it all the data related to the battery and makes a new one.

It was with me same. I have a solution. I have in the Settings>Display "Screen off animation" closed. And right now, screen is no longer frozen.:victory:

The cause was the " tv close like animation ", it's strange, a " simple " animation like that to freeze all apps in ur phone. Hope that fxp u'll fix in next release.

i reinstalled the snapchat app (the beta) and it seems to be working now ,maybe thats something you should look in . Also some caption box sizes seems to crash snapchat

So i am back xD, with another bug(ish) report when using/having snapcolors installed and activated snapchat has some connection issues on wifi,and doesnt work on 3g connection keeps saying "Could not refresh menssages pl try again"
Cool idea but I got 2 problems. First the size does not work for me and yes I typed the number and tryed double clicking it a lot of different ways. Second, when I click the volume down button once it skips thru like 2 or 3 colours so its kinda hard to go to the one I want. Also please add the default transluscent colour cause after I click thru the colours It isnt there so I have to take a picture again so it comes back. I have a samsung galaxy s4 if it helps and thanks for making the module.

Is that is odd ,it only started acting like that after installing module .but i will try unistall some apps and if i trace back the source i might Give some feedback And i Also noticed its hard to scrool between colors .and you cant go back to the default one. Btw this app has a lot of potencial

Great job corkiejp. I am wonder can this app add optional function let say the fingerprint when touch will take a picture in camera.
Miui has the function but CM13 dont have the fingerprint camera shutter function.

I'm not the developer but in the original linked thread. I believe that feature has been requested!
Currently if you use the action to sleep, it will interfere with MIUI camera function, sleeping the device instead of taking a picture.

Or you can choose in app to enable "Foreground Service" - Resulting in a persistent notification.

This is an app you need to install yourself. Doesn't come pre-installed.
The latest version can be found attached to this post or also available from xda labs <<< Open with XDA Labs app.
Fingerprint Gestures
There is an alternative app called "Fingerprint Gestures" that people may like to try instead. But requires allot of permissions.
It marked my device as incompatible, but is also available from xda labs.
Edit: - Just tested on my device and is incompatible for a reason, it doesn't work.

Some bugs i observed.
1. Goto settings and click installed app by user..then settings fc
2. Screen rotate icon persist even after disabling
3. Timeshift video and Timeshift bust not working
4. Sysem UI related icon settings temporary.. reboot resets system ui settings.
5. VoIP calls caused mute .. other party cant hear u.
6. Cant disable mobile data(already reported)
7. Click on screen mirrroring cause soft Reboot.
8. Defaults apps cant be changed.
9. Clicking on message cause a soft reboot.
10. As build is based on 4 april or older so same bugs as LOS

But still issue with jio4gvoice app.. no mic in calls.
Download hotspot app from play store..it worked for me

I have modified under script and replaced all chinese stuff into english.
U just need to extract the rom zip, merge META-INF into the rom then compress it in zip form and flash.

Ps. It would work with upcoming builds too.
Guys now we can port xperia themes to this rom too by converting them to substartum theme.
I have done dark sense theme and it works good.
If u have any good thene plz mention here i wl try to make a substartum theme from it.:laugh:

For me only small apps launcher work,none of the small apps work.

Same problem dude i think you shouldn't do that because your battery life can be die
This doesn't seem optimized for Oreo from what I'm seeing in the thread, I would wait for an update.
AOD
I just installed AOD on my J6 after watching the video on Youtube he he. works well also it doesn't consume battery.

no bro my screen is SAmoled which is amoled from what i know its only going to use pixels that needs be run or what ?

Not that bad, but i prefere the stock one, that works needless next to the lockscreen.
Try this app with the AOD Plugin service.Its working just u need to hide nav bar

Versions from 1.8.0 to 1.8.6 are not working. Older versions are working but it has some fc. So for J6 or oreo not prefered.
Please dont fool yourself with those crappy chinese AOD apps. Accept the fact that if samsung didnt give AOD as a integrated feature it will never come. I tried for many hours to edit the kernel to make the real AOD work but it just wont work, the display doesnt support it.
All those chinese apps do is when you turn off your screen, the app turns it on and adds a AOD overlay ontop of the lockscreen which is just total bullcrap and is buggy

In all seriousness though, it's a shame that native AOD doesn't work on this device, it really is a bad phone I don't know what Samsung was thinking
Is there any AOD that works normally on J6 Pie? There is 2.0.4v that works ok but it has a lot of bugs. Other stuff from the store eats battery like a 5-6% /1h.
