You could try this module. Put your system app in the vrtheme/system/app folder.

Sounds like Chrome does not want to be installed as a system app then Is there some benefit to having an app installed as a system app? Or why do you want to have it installed as a system app?

OK I don't know how things work on phones outside of the HD2, but can't you just push the .apk to /system/app with a root explorer, fix permissions in CWM and reboot?
Try to use ADB to move it and remember to set permissions
You need to extract libchromeview.so from the Chrome APK (found at: com.android.chrome-1.apk/lib/armeabi-v7a/libchromeview.so) and move it to system/lib. Optionally, you can remove libchromeview.so from the Chrome APK and zipalign if you want to save a couple of MBs of space.
This worked for me on v. 0.18.4531.3636. I attempted this some time ago on an older version unsuccessfully. If you have an older version for some reason, you'll probably need to update.
Latest titanium backup update said something about fixing conversion in what's new

If I'm not mistaken system apps load first on boot and are often quicker at starting up than user apps. That's been my experience anyways. However a lot of em are more hassle to convert than the slight increase in speed is worth imho

If that application is a system app, then you have to root your phone ... But i don't think you'll be able to root your phone yet ..

Thank you. Yes, I think that application is a system app. I think also root is possible ( i'll try motochopper for mtk6589 devices) but I don't know how to locate the chinese app and what's the app name. Do you have an idea for me?
Ok, my phone is rooted. Ther's some apk that allows download of others chinese app. But I don't know what it is.
Any idea?

With some file explorer ( I recommend ES file explorer - you can get it off Google Play or as a apk file if you don't have Play Store installed, it's a free app) go to /system/app and there you will find all the stock apps. Delete the ones you don't need, but be careful not to delete something your phone needs such as SystemUI or something like that. Also you might have to mount /system first. Do that by clicking root explorer in ES and then when it shows up a pop up window make sure that the dot is set on rw for the /system . Otherwise you won't be able to delete anything.

Very thanks. I'll try this.
I saw that some apps have the suffix [3738] (for example GoogleService [3738].Apk). I do not think they're stock apps. I will try to remove these first.
Thanks again

[Q] Trying to use "GLtools". Keep getting "Library building failed" during install.

[Q] Trying to use "GLtools". Keep getting "Library building failed" during install.
I have a rooted samsung galaxy tab 3, 4.4.2 kitkat, using TWRP.
I recently downloaded GLtools from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-gltools-1-29-t2828630
It's an .apk file and easily "installs" on the device. When I open up the program, I get to this screen: https://imgur.com/Td9BDWU
I check all 3 boxes. But when I click install or install using recovery, it says "Library building failed. Send crashlog to developer".
I have contacted the developer and am awaiting a reply (hopefully), but no where else have I seen this error.
I also tried to download a .zip version of Gltools and use the TWRP manager app to install it, but when I clicked "flash now", literally nothing happened.
I'm an android noob so any help is appreciated!
I have the same problem, have you managed to fix it?

Yes

In your superuser are supersu app have you checked to make sure GLtools has root permission if you do revoke permission going to clear the apps data and then grant permissions again
Sent from my SM-N910T using XDA Free mobile app
Actually, it never asked me to grant su to gltools, so it doesnt show up in chainfire supersu app list
Sent from my K018 using XDA Free mobile app
Wow okay I'm at a loss right now I can only think of 2 more things that might help you go into your customer recovery and use the fix permissions option and if that doesn't work I don't know if you're using a custom ROM but try using your stock rom

app disappear after converted to system app

hi guys,
i have been trying to convert the gps joystick app to system app without success, google a lot but no answer found.
I tried 2 methods:
1 . root with magisk, convert joystick app to system app, unroot with magisk "completely unistall" function---> app disappear after rebooting.
it will re-appear if i flash magisk again.
Tried to move app folder from data/app to ststem/priv-app, or system/framework, still does not work.
2. unrooted device, fastboot into twrp, mount system folder, move joystick app from data/app to ststem/priv-app, or system/framework.---> app disappear after rebooting.
basically method 1 & 2 are the same and does not solve the problem. read many posts and people are having the same problem, no solution found.
Please help!
my device is redmi note 5 pro on Oreo and samsung s7e on android 7. mainly use redmi note 5 pro to test.

Choose app which you want to covert as system app and click on it and swipe right to left and click on convert as system app option....
after process completion, reboot...
No problem on my Xiaomi Note 4X or 4A.
Problem on my Asus, app disappears after reboot, whether I use apps to move or do it manually.
I guess it is device related.
Anyway, since I am also on Magisk, just download the App Systemizer module in the Magisk Manager, it works to systemize what I wanted to systemize on my Asus.
You may have to do it all over again when OTA comes though, when Magisk has to be reinstalled.
* update, just changed the ROM of my Asus, now on Nougat. Like my other phones on Nougat, changing user app to system is easier now, I just move the entire app's folder from data/app to system/app and it works, even if it has lib
